The second best vape bar on the block, but if you’re looking for cold beers and hot dogs by far Superior then most. Great backyard and the keep adding and improving on the space. Not that it needed it, but the added a shuffleboard table that is dope. However, again they could up their vape game. I don’t think they even sell any vape juice.

One of the best«divey» places around. Our bartender had the best personality and took great care of us all night. The mix of people in and out is great to people watch, the space inside is perfect and the prices are just right. My gf and I are a touch far from this bar but we’ll go out of the way to spend a night hanging out here any day. Love this place!

Been here twice and both times were a good experience. Friendly bartenders. Both times I went it was quiet which I like. Decent tap selection. They need better light in the dartboard area though.

great dive bar with a new feel… They have a decent tap selection and the outdoor space is lovely.

This is a great bar, good drinks and excellent jukebox. Not your typical hipster bar. They have a great backyard too and even have pretzels and hot dogs. If you’re in the area definitely check it out

Pretty cool bar, athough they only have one television. It seems like a good place to hang out and chill and prices aren’t crazy. They play rock music in the background which I enjoy as opposed to the typical pop played in most bars. They even have an outdoor area although I did not partake since it was rather chilly and I was there to watch the game.

My vanilla vodka root beer was bomb, but the punk rock music they played here was horrible. I kindly asked the bartender if he would be willing to change up the music and he said, «no». If punk rock music is your cup of tea this may just be the perfect bar for you. Might be back in future, but definitely not for the music.

Unless you live in the hood, you probably wouldn’t go out of your way for Old Stanley’s. However, if you’re in Bushwick, check this place out. It’s a no-nonsense bar with lots of room, a friendly staff, and reasonably-priced drinks! Plus, when it’s warm, they have a great outdoor space. Note that Old Stanley’s also serves a few munchies if you’re hungry… AND some special grub on Sundays with an awesome local chefs! The Sunday food extravaganza typically happens on their patio during the summer, but they bring it inside for the winter! Check it out.(Side note: Sunday night at Old Stanley’s is where I had the best pulled pork BBQ sandwiches I’ve ever had!)

I moved more than an hour train ride away and still make it a point to come back as often as possible. By far my favorite bar in NYC, it somehow straddles the line perfectly between old school dive bar and new neighborhood hang out. They deserve every ounce of business they’re getting and I beg you to open an outpost in South Brooklyn. We need you!!!

The bar is okay, but Sunday’s are delicious due to the food set up in the back. It’s cheap, delicious, and served up by two cool people(Elizabeth and Justin). 4 words: chorizo Mac and cheese($ 6!).

Come on Sundays! Good ass bbq in the back. That and happy hour are perfect. Probably the cheapest place to drink in the area and the bartenders are also great.

Bartender? Waiter? Perhaps an asshole? Let me just say that this guy is not worth how cheap this place is. Please, do yourself a favor and go to June a block away, or even go to Fairweather Bushwick 2 blocks away for an EVEN cheaper happy hour — they offer a buy one, get one(2 hipster IPA for $ 5) — only a block away. P. S. Bartender/Waiter on Friday, September 18, 2015 is not pleasant or professional to say the least.

I really dig this bar. It’s feet from my apartment, so that’s a plus. But it’s got cheap beer, cool bartenders, you can always meet some cool people there, and it’s never too crowded. Reminds me of Cheers.

This bar is great. The bartenders are great people and don’t get me started about the playboy pin ball machine. The sounds, the lights, THEACTION! Plus it was one of the first bars on my side of town :)

So, this place is my local & I like to think that I know pubs [I’m Irish]. Firstly, the place is warmly decorated with string lights, memorabilia & old-time Americana. There’s a pin-ball machine, a photo booth, sports screens, a juke box & a hunting arcade game. The beer is great, the food(hot dogs and so on) is good & the staff are a real cool bunch. Old Stanley’s is cosy, friendly & familiar… like an old friend.

I love this place — bartenders are friendly and the music is just at the volume that you can hang out! There is a photo booth and a pinball game! It has the feeling of a dive place, yet it is more classy, just the way I prefer it to be! I often go here just to have a beer with a friend either to start the night or to cap it off! It doesn’t really serve any food, except from hotdogs and pretzels, but really, if you are gonna have a meal, find something more healthy than bar food! Sometimes their beer selection is a little thin, for someone like me, who doesn’t like IPA’s.

Beautiful bar about a 5 min walk from the Myrtle-Wycoff stop on the L train. Not sure if it quite qualifies as a dive but I suppose it is close. The bar itself is a beautiful refinished wood monstrosity and they have delicious sic point on tap. Worth the trip on the L and sit close to the border of Brooklyn and Queens.

Came back in November. I brought a coke. And paid 50% tip. The guy told me to leave immediately after I finished my coke. I understand if it is busy but the place is empty. The guy had a stick up his butt and complained that to me that there are not many people. I am sorry if people don’t like the bar if you treat people like dirt. During world cup — Nice place. Feels like an irish bar. Cheap. 3 dollar beers. The world cup is in Spanish not English though you would expect Spanish versions to be better.
