When I first entered this store I did not want to leave!
The atmosphere makes you want to shop.
I have been in several times and always know when I walk in again I will find new pieces.
John Michael the owner is so charming and talented.
He knows when he sees talent in designers that want him to carry their things and knows his fabric.
They have other designers there also who have wonderful pieces as well.
I am so happy a new store came to Franklin, that I know will be there for a long long time!

A new edition to Franklin St’s Fashion Row, People of the Free Mind is an eco-​friendly, one-​size-​fits-​all, unisex emporium of treats. The main line, Artists & Revolutionaries, designed by the super-​cool John-​Michael, is made from entirely organic fabrics in his studio here in Greenpoint.
The prices too are pleasantly surprising at $ 180-​$ 220 for a cashmere jacket. They also stock the most stunning silk kimonos and an amazing range of organically made soaps. And all locally made!
Great ambience and extremely friendly staff make this store well worth checking out.
