This was my favorite phở place in the area. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was cheap and delicious. But sadly I have to report that this location has closed down :(Hopefully a new Vietnamese place will open in its spot, we can only hope…

Mediocre, but not totally worthless. We had bun thit nuong cha gio, phở tai, and some summer rolls. There was no art to the dishes even though things were as expensive as other good Vietnamese places in south Brooklyn. The bun was simply lettuce, cucumber, noodles, spring rolls, and straight fish sauce. The phở was not served with any basil, pepper, or anything. Peanut sauce was bad, but not horrible. Café sua was horrific(seriously, *do not* order that). But the summer rolls were good, and none of the food was inedible(except the coffee). Other than that, I’m pretty sure that the people who worked there did not speak a lick of Vietnamese, or have ever eaten much of the cuisine. They had no chicken left on the menu. Water was served warm in Styrofoam 6 oz cups. The condiments on the table were filthy as were the tables and floor(thank you baby wipes!) The phở noodles had been overcooked and were falling apart. I guess the upside is that no one got food poisoning.

Cheap and filling. Family was passing by Brooklyn and decided to stop in Chinatown. It was snowing, so there weren’t any people eating-in. I got grilled pork chop cause I needed something hardy and filling. This was a to-go order so I can’t say anything about service, though it felt like it took them 10 minutes to finish the order. The food was average, nothing special. Not sure if I would come back though. Maybe if I didn’t want to spend so much.

I cheated on my girl today and all I got was pain & misery. Plus I left still hungry woo is me. Stopped in here figured how bad could it be… well bad. The Banh Mi sucked really not good at all. Yes I am picky when it comes to my Banh Mi and this had to be the worst. I also tried the Cha Gio Tom which were the size of my finger weren’t bad but I came for the Banh Mi. I asked for extra basil and the lady said they are inside. Uhhhh what are you stupid! Sad what a fake Vietnamese place. You see what happens when you cheat on your main squeeze Ba Xuyen nothing but guilt and shame.

This Vietnamese shop is operated by Chinese people who don’t speak Vietnamese :( I ordered the com suon(pork shop over rice). It came with tomatoes and cucumbers. It didn’t taste that great. But, it looked presentable. This restaurant is connected to Fei Long Supermarket Food Court.

I ordered a number 12 for take out. It’s kind of pricey compared to other places I’ve been to in Brooklyn. $ 7.50 for phở? It was really mediocre, the soup was kind of too greasy and salty for me? Nothing special about the phở, some of the beef was uncooked even after I soaked it in the broth. Maybe their sandwiches are better?

small place tuck into the corner of fei long supermarket. It has small selection of food but makes up for it with taste and quantity. Fair prices. Would definitely come back again for the phở. Still need to try their bahn mi.

Come here if you’re in need for a quick fix of phở. Small shop with a few tables and a limited menu, food items only consists the basics of Vietnamese eats. Noodles are decent, the broth wasn’t too rich in flavors, but I can live with it, too lazy to walk up a few extra blocks and hit up Thanh Da up on 7th ave. Next up, the beef cubes on rice had more onions than beef cubes, although I have to say the flavors were good, just sad the size of the beef cubes are so tiny that it’s almost like playing hide and seek, eat me if you can. Was really looking forward to the summer rolls, the skin didn’t soak in the water enough and that made the skin on my rolls not soft enough, al dented rice paper is a no no. Either way, it’s good for a quick fix.

Cheap. Cheap. Just the basics, Phở is decent. Egg rolls are crispy, and the Banh mi is a good size. Best bargain for viet food in the neighborhood, not as good as in Vietnam but then again, we’re not in Vietnam now are we?

It’s a nice tiny place for quick Viet food. The menu selection isn’t too big but you got your basic sandwiches and phở. The food is good and the setting is nice. The waiters are also nice. I recommend the spring rolls and pork chop rice.

When the weather is in single digits, it’s not bad idea to get some phở to warm you up. Phở’s and Banhmi Inc is a good option to go to if you are around 8th ave. The cooks who make your food can speak Chinese, but the waitresses hardly understand Chinese. Waitresses also rush you to order once you are seated. Hardly give you any time to settle down. When I was ready to order, I got the #14 Phở Tai– round beef eye of Newton and the #34 Banh Mi Dac Biet– special baguette, BBQ pork, cured pork salami, and pork roll. Most Vietnamese places serve Phở in a large bowl to make seen like you get a lot, but this place serves it in the right size bowl. Good amount of phở and eye of Newton. The Phở was decently good. The soup stocking was hot and it fogged up my glasses and warmed me up. The sandwich was good too. The baguette was warm and soft. Just the right amount of cilantro, raddish, cucumber, and pickle carrots. Pork had a good taste and flavor. Was it the best Vietnamese sandwich I have ever had… it comes close, but there is one place that makes the best one in Chinatown. Overall just a good lunch. Wish the waitresses didn’t rush me to order, but I was satisfied. A good place to get something quick to eat or take a break from food shopping at Fei Long Supermarket. This place does not charge tax and it’s cash only place.

*Tip*-There’s a promotion for banh mi… buy 4 get one free…5 for $ 19.00, not bad…($ 4.75 per sammich, not counting the free one) I bought the banh mi special, I ordered the regular one, spicy… the sandwich wasn’t bad. To me, the pork was a bit too salty. Also I wished there were more veggies in my sandwich. I really like the crunch and flavor of the pickled carrot and daikon. My sandwich was spicy but I didn’t see any jalapeños in the sandwich so I assumed the meat was pre-spiced. I would like to come back and try their phở.

My friend and I walked in here while we were waiting for Kulu desserts to open at noon on the next block. We sat down and the waitress brought us water in styrofoam cups. We should have realize something was wrong because expect for us, the other customers were non-Asian. I’m sorry if I’m honest about food, but I prefer that if you are going to hang up a store sign stating that it’s Viet food, it must be Viet food, but«sorta» Viet food. The menu is limited and it looks like a food food chain that serves generic Viet food. She ordered the Banh Mi Viet sandwich with grilled pork and I the Bun Chay(Viet dry noodles with spring rolls). Instead the server came back with the regular Viet sandwich with ham and I got the dry noodles with pork. The sauce that comes with the dry noodles was sour, it is not suppose to be sour. They overstuffed the dish with bitter basil. Viet food isn’t suppose bitter. There was bits of bone in the sliced pork — I don’t even know what is going on at this point. My friend say the bread was stale and it was tasteless. Viet food is not suppose to be tasteless. Tasteless is the last thing you call Viet food. Afterwards, I walked to the cashier and paid and then we cleaned our food off our trays and staked it in the corner. I don’t think I’m suppose to tip them for my work. I gave them 3 stars in case they«figure» some«things» out and adjust the taste, because people do realize when customers stop coming in and business is slow. They have room for improvement, because we desperately need more variety of food in this neighborhood besides Chinese food.

Glad this place had its grand opening, because I love banh mi! I had their #35 sandwich, and it was pretty good(but not the best). I tried some of the soup dishes my family had, and they were decent as well. Also, they renovated the space really nicely. Definitely worth going to if you’re in the neighborhood(especially if you get sick of the food court).

This place just opened, so I guess they’re still figuring stuff out… stuff like, I don’t know, cleaning the tables. We ordered our food, then went to find a seat, which was pretty difficult in spite of the fact that the restaurant only had two other patrons at the moment. Every single table was covered in the previous diners’ mess. Eww. We stood for a minute hoping someone might take notice, but no. Eventually we just consolidated the soiled plates and bowls and wiped down our own table. On the upside, the phở was decent. However, it lacked most of the normal«fixin’s» and was served only with sprouts and lime. My friend had one of the sandwiches, which he enjoyed quite a bit. I won’t be returning anytime soon. I’ll give them a few months to get their stuff together, then maybe I’ll check it out again.
