The Grandma Josie Pie is amazing. Best pizza I’ve had in Park Slope.

Friendly staff and more importantly, fantastic pizza. I love my pizza, so I know a good slice when I have one. Crisp, thin crush. Cheese is plentiful and fresh, sauce is tasty. It has all you want in a good slice. I am particularly partial to their Sicilian and upside down Sicilian slice. Prices are more than fair, especially for the new-Brooklyn. I would rank this slice as one of my top 5 slices in NYC.

Have had delivery from here and the Grandma and Grandpa pies are amazing! So delicious, highly recommended.

Try the mozzarella pizza with arugula. Thin crust. Tiny little mozzarella balls. Sure they have a name. It was so good! They sell pizza slices so you can try them all! Cash only. Gluten free dough available. Wish they would open a pizza place like this in my home town.

SOOOGOOD! Great slice of pizza! The crust and bottom were both crisp to perfection. Flavor was good and it tasted fresh. Garlic knots were yummy too! Prices are decent. As Arnold would say, «I’ll be back!»

I have to say, one of the best pies I’ve had when I’m traveling in Brooklyn. Perfect, Round, sweet sauce, everything that you would expect from a well made pizza. I will order from this the next time I’m working in the area.

Best pizza in cobble hill /carroll gardens /gowanus area. For me, it’s the grandma pie with pepperoni. I order a large so I can eat it for four days. My wife loves the vodka slice. Just wish they would do something about that giant step/front door. We often stop in after pre-school and it is not really great for strollers. They’re none too eager to step out and help a mom(or dad) who is struggling to get in. That don’t make the pizza bad though. So still 5 stars. PIZZZA! PIZZZZZZZZA!

Went there this Saturday with family and friends after a funeral. The staff was amazingly attentive, but even better was the food! The Caesar Salad was delish and I seriously can’t rave enough about the Penne Vodka — my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We had chicken francese and chicken parm which were sooo good and probably the best part of the meal was the zeppoles they brought out! They were not greasy whatsoever and so fluffy and tasty! This will be a must stop for any of our future Brooklyn visits! Wish we were closer!

The customer service is awful. We always ask for extra sauce on the side and we NEVER get it. They repeatedly mess up our orders, and do nothing about it. The pizza is good but I’m fed up with their complete lack of competence. Order from Table 87, which is only a couple blocks away. You won’t regret it.

I’m currently 6 months pregnant, and I think it’s accurate to say that I am building a baby out of Cotte Bene’s food. These guys know how far along I am better than my midwives. The pizza is always perfect, but they also make delicious comfort food. I’m a big fan of their rigatoni bolognese. Thanks for keeping me(us) well fed, Cotte Bene!

Oh cotta bene… I wish you didn’t close at 10pm! Your pizza is amazing — the sauce is perfection. And the rice balls and the zucchini sticks are soooo good. Cotta bene is my favorite pizza in NYC. Best thing hands down.

Love this place– haven’t been there, just ordered on grub hub. They forgot a part of my order once, I called and the delivery guy was back 20 min. Yay! Meatball parm hero is to die for. Huge meatballs, tons of cheese and the bread is perfect. Cheese pizza is tasty. Thin crust with decent cheese. Nothing special… But good. I’m sure their margherita pizza is amazing. Penne alla vodka is also amazing. Big portion, creamy and spot on. I’m always torn about what to order from here since everything I’ve tried is good!

New to the neighborhood, I was excited about trying this place, then… they sent me the wrong thing! I had to call, twice. Then, rather than replace my order or refund my money, the guy blamed the delivery company, and told me he’d have them comp my order. So I called the company. After a long time on hold, I found out that no call had been made. If I want to be treated badly, I’ll go elsewhere. By the time I ate my(wrong) dinner, the mediocre pizza was cold and congealed. Never again, Cotta Bene, never again.

If you think to place an order on seamless, FORGETIT. Worst experience of my life. Rude and unprofessional manager. I’ve order a salad and for $ 9 I got a little plate of lettuce. Then tried to ask for MY money back they said they never give money back but can send me another salad. Like really? Worst experience on seamless and worst costumer service in the entire universe.

Amazing authentic pizza joint! I love pepperoni pizza and they knocked that out of the park. They also carry a spinach artichoke pizza that is phenom! Red sauce, white sauce… can’t go wrong!

Ask and you shall receive! After posting my pervious review and asking for changes, Cotta Bene people listened! Fresh mozzarella is back in the Avocado Caprese Appetizer! Ingredients in the pastas and pizzas are back to being high quality! I could not be more pleased! So glad gave this place one more chance! Thanks Cotta Bene for thinking of your customers!!!

Do not order the«house special» salad. For $ 13 you get some basic lettuce, a few veggies and 4 small Mozzarella balls. This salad would be half the price anywhere else. Same with the pizza. Overpriced.

Excellent, authentic Italian food! I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a cheese slice, actually squared; deep dish, crispy crust. The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and rich. I only give it a 4⁄5 stars, as the cooks behind the counter were rushing us through the order, acting as if we were bothering him. Well, turns out we were bothering him and his crew. We picked a table to sit, as we were told to, only when we sat down we were told to move to the other side of the dinning room, the not so fancy side. This was done because the table we picked was the table that the kitchen crew picked to sit down for their early dinner. Also, paying the bill was a bit unorganized, as a different lady asked me if we had already paid. When I told her that we had not paid, she then asked what we ordered… All in all, the food was great!

I just had my first slice — pesto margherita — and it was delicious. Crust is out-of-this-world. I tend to cover my pizza with parmesan and red pepper flakes but this pizza doesn’t need it. Atmosphere is kinda old-school Italian, but bright and very comfortable.

One of the better casual Italian /Pizzeria places I’ve eaten at. They have what you’d expect and then some, and everything is made with care and quality ingredients. I particularly like the Spinach-artichoke slice, their salads are great, and they have harder to find dishes I enjoy like broccoli rabe with sausages.

Check check out their daily specials they make cooked to order entrées usually a fish meat and pasta and amazing salads the kids can have pizza and the parents can have real good good Italian dishes. The owners are usually there the staff is really nice and the pizzas also very fine. The room is better than the usual pizza place with floor-to-ceiling the storefront all away around they sell wine and beer too

I used to order from this place a lot on Seamless, but the are now considered out of range, so I was really excited to find that they are still an option for me on Grub Hub! This is my go-to for great gluten free pizza and pasta. Delivery is prompt, the food is always hot, and I enjoy the flavors. I also think the pricing is more than fair. What really sold me though was this evening I ordered from Grub Hub and me, assuming the options were the same as Seamless, accidentally hit«add fried chicken» instead of grilled chicken onto a gluten free pasta dish. I could have sworn it just said chicken, which I pleaded to the nice man on the phone, but when I double checked my receipt, it said«fried chicken» right on it. Maybe Grub Hub messed up, but more likely it was my error and the restaurant sent a replacement right to my door at no charge. I will be a customer of Cotta-Bene for as long as I live in the area — and then some! Great food is a dime a dozen in this city, but outstanding customer service is not. What was likely my error was handled with care and for that, I am greatly appreciative!

Totally decent delivery option. Very pleased they actually deliver to Park Slope — arrived quickly and still piping hot. Nice variety of pre-set pizza options and the pizzas were large. Traditional New York crust, serviceable sauce — not a fancy, artisanal, coal-oven, grandma’s secret sauce, specialty imported sausage from some specific town on the ligurian coast type of pizza joint, but if you are looking for a solid delivery option that isn’t outrageously expensive, Cotta-Bene was a hit with our crew.

By far the best homemade Italian food in the neighborhood! Their chicken Marsala is my favorite, the portion size is perfect and the sauce is always at a great consistency. If I’m in a pizza mood I go for their sausage and pepper pizza which is always amazing. Delivery is quick.
