Crack-o-late is aptly named. It’s my new addiction. I’ve woken up early three days in a row just to walk out of my way and pick up this saving grace to my day. Good gluten free baked choices as well.

Been coming here since the earliest days, I used to live in the adjacent building. Now I get there about 2/x month. Yesterday I paid $ 3.54 for a cup of coffee. Not a latte, nor even a cappuccino, an Americano nor a labor intensive cold brew. Nope, this was regular, drip coffee. The kind where the counter person flips the lever and out comes the coffee in 5 seconds flat. In a regular-sized 12-ounce mug, no less. $ 3.54? «I’ve experienced better» pretty much says it all. $ 3.54 for a regular, drip coffee? If I wanted Midtown hotel prices.,

Today, I discovered Pudge Knuckles has been seized by NY State for not paying their taxes. Crappy coffee, tax cheats doesn’t help your brand!

Such a nice staff and beautiful location. I would give them 5 stars if there wasn’t screaming children in a constant roll for the hour we were there. Good drinks too!

Nice little coffee shop in Williamsburg. There’s a decent amount of seating here although it can tend to run dry at times(lots of campers /Macbooks open). The coffee here is good. One of my favorite things about this spot is they offer a decent selection of nibbles to enjoy with your coffee — and they have an interesting selection of different coffee /espresso blends, as well as some yummy hot chocolates to indulge in. It’s located in a pretty nice area of the ‘burg — real close to the water, so on those nice days, you can snatch your coffee and stroll down to the water with little hassle. Friendly staff here.

This spot is definitely a nice and convenient neighborhood joint for a quick cup of coffee. Their seasonal hot drinks are definitely a treat — I loved the chocolate chai latte! The food, however, was pretty meh. I got an omelette just as a quick breakfast option, and while the price was right and cheap — the taste matched a bit. Additionally, it’s a bit snug on the inside, so it lends itself a lot more to the coffee shop than breakfast or lunch spot vibe. There were a lot of people on laptops working which is an ok vibe, and there are some comfier soft seating options as well. Next time I will definitely just stick with the drinks, pudge knuckles definitely succeeds more as a coffee shop than a café.

After an awesome SoulCycle session in Williamsburg, I decided to come to Pudge Knuckles(obviously the name won me over). The place is wonderfully adorable. There is a lot of seating, outlets, and wifi so it’s good for working. However, the service was definitely sub par. The two women working looked like they hadn’t smiled in 15 years, and maybe didn’t even know how to. I ordered a coffee and a homemade poptart(both were awesome) and waited for a friend. When he arrived, he got the same bad attitude, but at least one of the ladies let him know she was having an off day. He purchased a few«amazeballs» which are amazing balls of flavor, and a veggie sandwich. All tasted great, but the food took a while for the place to not be crowded at all. Let’s get some smiles going and I would definitely give this place a four or five star rating.

wanted to get out of the cold so i stopped by for a warm drink. i don’t drink coffee so the black and white hot chocolate intrigued me. The drink it self was good very creamy and sweet. Idk if i’m suppose to be able to taste both white chocolate and dark chocolate but it definitely tasted chocolatey… lol. the place was spacious with comfy couches and a few long tables where ppl can get work done. this place also accepts the CUPS app! If you’re into coffee shop hopping around the city you should definitely consider getting this app. it lets you buy plans for coffee at participating shops at a discounted price! use this code for a 10 $ discount: 2TVG6

I’ve been here a few times — sometimes to read, other times with my Laptop to get some work done. I like their coffee very much, and the ambience is nice. The cashier is friendly too. This will be my go to place!

I’m really shocked by the negative reviews, ultimately leading this place to get an average of only three stars. The coffee, desserts, sandwiches, and smoothies/protein shakes are awesome! So far we’ve tried: lord Vader coffee beverage, mega monkey, some of the amazeballs, the pudge sandwich, one of the salads, and this avocado sandwich. I even brought my parents here once; my mom loved the sangria smoothie and my dad loved the black and white. Overall, everything had tasted quite good and even if the ingredients weren’t particularly special or fancy, the combinations are clever. For example, the pudge sandwich has turkey, egg, bacon, and tomato on sliced multi grain bread — delicious combination. The mega monkey is probably my favorite item — but be warned, it’s filling so make sure you’re a little hungry. We’ve ordered a 24 oz. to be split between us, and every time they would just give us two 16oz cups(full) for that price. I always thought that was very nice and demonstrated good service. I think maybe one or two of the baristas is a little spacey, but they’re all very friendly. I really enjoy coming here. Finally, this place is fairly spacious and good for potentially doing work. It’s also in a nice section of Williamsburg where you can just walk out and get a lovely view of the water. I think they get a lot of unfair negative reviews. I definitely recommend at least giving this place a try!

Good location for people who live nearby but the service is poor. They are never friendly and will barely engage with customers. I never understand why it takes so long for such simple food or a smoothie when the place isn’t even full. They need someone to do an audit of their operations stat.

This place is great as long as you go at the RIGHT time. Some of the staff seem miserable and almost like they’re doing you a favor by serving you but some of them are really nice. The owners are wonderful so if you ever catch them there it is a treat!

I decided to try this place out because I needed a place to get some work done. I only had a coffee, so I can’t speak to the food or other beverages. Pros: Ample seating, nice atmosphere, wifi. Fast and friendly service. Outdoor seating is spacious and a big plus. Con: The cold brew tasted like Starbucks iced coffee. That’s not a good thing.

I love this place, mainly because it’s kind of hidden and it’s not always slam-packed with brats, so you can actually get a freakin’ seat. Yes, it gets busy during certain hours, but when I go(usually evenings on the weekends or late afternoons after the morning/lunch rush) it’s usually chill and I like that about it. I’m a big introvert and hate some of the other coffee shops closer to Bedford that are annoying and overcrowded nightmares. This place is actually pretty spacious for a coffee shop in NYC. I’ve also had a good experience with customer service here. The staff have always been pretty open and friendly. Yes, I know they have a $ 13 smoothie(ridiculous, but there’s a lot of rich-white-young hipster kids with access to their daddy’s bank account in this area), but they also have pretty high quality coffee and baked goods that are normal prices for W-Burg. All in all, I’m a Pudge Knuckles fan. PS: Try their raw chocolate ball thingys(I think they’re called AMAZEBALLS) — they are awesome.

Delicious coffee. Great fun drinks as well as old standards. Smoothies and bagels too! It’s right by the waterfront so grab a coffee and enjoy the view.

The food is great, things like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches, a lot of variety in the latte and chai options. Tucked away off Kent ave, it’s a cute place, you can park your bike and eat outside. There’s some board games and tables inside too!

This review is for the F**k Sleep coffee. Super tasty, chocolatey, well-rounded flavour and guaranteed to power you through an essay or two. The woman at the register wouldn’t let me use my CUPS app to purchase the drink without negotiating with me. She said that there wasn’t an option to add an espresso shot to my cold brew… but I told her i’d just pay for the espresso if she would just add it to my drink. :\ Wouldn’t say she was wrong but surely calculative…

Pudge Knuckles’ location is quite remote and serves those who live close to the waterfront of North Williamsburg. Prices are pretty average but sad to report, I’ve had a couple of burnt-tasting lattes the few times I’ve been here. There’s a woman who works the register who seems to be offended when I tell her I’d like to pay with my CUPS app. She most likely thinks I am getting a free cup of coffee but when in reality, I’ve prepaid for that cup! Meanwhile another staff behind the counter blurted out right after I said my method of payment, «yeah, she gets free cup.» Hm, that sounds to me that the staff there lacks the understanding of how the app works.

Pudge Knuckles is my favorite café in Brooklyn! The heavenly, mouthwatering smoothies are the best I have ever tasted! You have to try it, my favorite is the Mega Monkey Smoothie! And they have seasonal special smoothies, yippee! Enjoy delicious pastries or healthy sandwiches. I usually go here to work/study but it is also a good place to meet a friend for a chat and a glass of red wine. The staff is friendly, there’s free WiFi and the background music is awesome! I also like the shy location at 4st and Kent Ave. Trust me, you are going to love this place!
