Dr. Miarrostami is fantastic. He is thorough, kind, and practical. He has great instincts – if you have a complaint, he’s going to pursue it. I have never felt put off or dumb or silly with any of my questions. I highly recommend him. Even though my husband works on the UWS(in the medical field) and goes to all his own Manhattan doctors, I would NOT trade Dr. Miarrostami for any of them. Top notch.

I’ve only had a few visits with this doctor as my primary physician but he’s the one I least dread going to. He asks thorough questions, tells me what I should be concerned on, finally got my mom to stop thinking I needed a bone density test… Now some nurses are more adept than others, that’s not his fault. One was kind of speaking to me in a way I wasn’t fond of and seriously had to dig into my arm more than once(my veins are small and not on the surface, but I’ve never needed two holes in the same area). Another nurse was fantastic, quick, painless, barely a bruise. Could I possibly marry her? In New Jersey? It’s the usual waiting room with elderly people and The People’s Court on TV but I’m cool with it.

Dr. Miarrostami is just OK. He is kind of awkward and doesn’t really answer your questions very thoroughly. The biggest problem I have is that his nurses are inept! I have called sooo many times to get referrals or results or make an appointment and they are impossible. They give you incredible attitude or are NEVER there. I once had to call back all day, and then all the next day before I could schedule a follow up visit. And they were rude. I am changing my primary doc ASAP.
