Zero stars (if I could). This place is just gross. Horrible pizza, dirty inside, rude staff and the ice machine has been «broken» for years. I heard it’s for sale — I hope that’s true. This part of town deserves something better

This is hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had in NYC. Place is dirty, slice looked sketch as hell but I thought maybe after they heated it up it’d be better. It tasted like rubber and I found some weird black thing in it underneath the cheese that I had no idea what it was. My brother agreed. I used to live 3 blocks from this place and never ate there again no matter how hungry I was, thats how bad it was. Just keep walking down windsor place a few blocks to 7th Ave and eat at Friend’s Pizza Café if you want a quick slice in this area.

great affordable pizza… the place looks a little grimy, but don’t worry — the pizza is better than you think. Don’t expect delivery though as they rarely have a guy available.

Authentic, old-​school pizza joint. Complete with the neon orange seats. Yeah, THOSE ones.
Cheap slices too. Probably among the cheapest you’ll find in the area. Last time I went (last year) it was $ 1.75 a slice.

Sabella’s is the best on the block down here. ‘Tis true that it is pretty low key, not spanking fancy in the least, and sometimes they don’t have a delivery person. That said, when they do, the price right for the quality. Better than Joe’s down the street.

Great slice in a pinch.
The place is pretty grimy looking, which I think makes it better (I like my pizza places to have some grime). I mean they’re focusing on the pizza, and not how clean the joint is.
Pretty tasty stuff.

This is my pizza of choice in the South Slope. That doesn’t mean it’s the best though. It just means that I have yet to find one that I prefer. The annoying thing about it is that half the time they don’t have a delivery person. What the hell?
