Great food, portion and friendly staff. Buy to-​go at least 3 times a week from them. The ‘special’ size at $ 5.00 is great for this economy. A local favorite and it is by the subway. Try the ‘jerk chicken’ or the ‘beef curry’ — you will not be disappointed! While you are there, pick up a ginger beer to cool you down after the chow down…

Sure it’s a greasy spoon take out locale but the food is amazing! It’s like going to your Jamaican aunt’s house (we all have fake Jamaican aunt’s right?) and chowing down. The prices are rather inexpensive compared to the Golden Crusts of the world. Plus they sell Ting (if you’re into that sort of stuff). The staff is quite friendly and are a bunch of music aficionados, you may get caught up in one of their conversations. I’m a fan of their jerk chicken, it’s really good.
