Came for a quick grab and go, since I was craving for Mexican food. First of, the tacos are delicious and good value. I got the chicken and steak and both were good. The have other traditional dishes and I would be back to try them!

Things have unfortunately gone downhill since I wrote that last review. We went there with a large group of friends at noon and the waitress hadn’t even shown up for work yet! The owner refused to serve us for whatever reason and kept telling us that she was on her way. WTF? Handle your business!

Found this place while looking for a quick bite in the Maimonides hospital area. Typical mom and pops restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine. The price was right and they served bottles beer. No hard liquor here. He staff are super friendly but don’t speak much english 1.50 $ gets you a small taco and 2 $ for a large. I had tongue and chicken both of which were delicious. They also have burritos, quesadillas, etc. Chips and salsa on the house was a nice plus. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area. Cash only

I have passed this place walking to 5th ave. many times. I’ve always figured that it would be worth it to walk to 5th for the food and to just skip this place. I’m really glad I stopped by. I cant much talk about the the tacos, but their cemita($ 6) was awesome. I had chorizo and carnitas(for $ 1 extra). It was delicious, as good as any other cemita I’ve ever had. For not having tried much else here, I’m giving this place such a good review because of its potential. Also, their bar looks like it would be fun to throw back some tequila at, with the other muchachos. I’m going to update this review after I try it again, sometime soon.

Some of the best in Sunset Park! The mole enchilada’s are great! Just add a pinch of salt and you are good to go. The tacos are amazing, and cheap. The chorizo tacos have great flavor! The dont take credit cards, and its still a best kept secret because its never filled to capacity there. If you are in the area, and you want real Mexican food, go to San Lucas.
