Pizza is not too good here, go to the right wall and see the entrees, they are the real winners here. I mean they aren’t homemade, Italian restaurant on 5th Ave, nonnas kitchen or even Eataly with their several restaurants quality, but it will do. The roast chicken, baked fish and the standard fare of baked ziti, chicken parmesan even the spaghetti and meatballs is alright. The breadsticks are fresh and they add as much sauce as you want. Pretty alright eats if you happen to be in this mall, just don’t forget to get your cookies at The Cookie House! –_–

Sbarro is probably the last respectable food joint in kings plaza. I dont eat the pizza I usually get chicken parmegan or meatballs with marinara sauce. My brother and I are obsessed with their breadsticks! Their iced teas also taste amazing. The only bad thing I have to say about the place is that its crowded all the time but its a mall there is nothing you can do.

As a lad, I remember this place opening up and being something different for NYers. Usually back in the 80s we had regular slices, maybe some pepperoni and mushrooms, but Sbarro had tons of toppings and so many more options than regular mom and pop pizzerias. This was the first Sbarro to open in the world. Yes now Sbarro is a sad fast food style pizzeria(ok maybe a step above Pizza Hut and Papa John’s), but back when it was a small local joint, it was pretty good. Or maybe I was young and stupid, and did not know good pizza. Whatever the case is, it is not mind blowing pizza… you can not compare it to Grimaldi’s…but it also is not cardboard pizza like Domino’s. So when you shop at the mall, and need some lunch, this is probably your best option.
