Frankly they deserve negative stars. This is by farrrr the worst Liqour store (actually store in general) that I have ever been to in my life (no exaggeration). I did not even have time to peruse the shelves because I could not get past the attitudes of the people who own the store! They are rude and hostile and have no idea what customer service or even treating someone like a human being is. I am not shocked by the other reviews, what shocks me most is that they are still open. Do the universe a favor and don’t support these people by purchasing from their store. I’d rather take up a life of sobriety than to help people like this continue to exist.

Overpriced, I went in today to buy a gift. The owner sold me a $ 40 retail bottle of whiskey for $ 108. I was in a rush and unable to check the internet before purchasing. How shameful! Will never go back there again. They probably write their own reviews.

Even though the store was busy, Avishai took the time to help me select a bottle of wine and a bottle of scotch for dinner and gifting. I didn’t have much money to spend, but the wine he selected was delicious and he even taught me a lot about the winery. I was going to purchase a more expensive scotch, but he showed me one that he said was even better and was less money. I will definitely shop here from now on.

Great store, and a great selection of wine and spirits. I am a big whisky fan and there is a great selection here, if they don’t have it, they will find it for you, and ship it too. The owner Avishai really helped me with some 30 year old Glenfiddich that I could not find anywhere in New York. Schnapps is the first place I call to get hold of rare whisky, and they couldn’t be nicer, or more keenly priced.

Schnapps is one of the best shops I know of. Avishai (the owner) really knows his whiskies & spirits, too. Great selection, fast shipping. Highly recommended!
