I would have never expected such a great serene experience from a place square in the middle of busy Flatbush Avenue. Love love love! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with warm smiles and a VERY accommodating staff! A hidden gem! Treat yourself to this wonderful experience!

Serenity Garden Massage & Spa goes above and beyond for their clients. I’m extremely thankful to have found such a wonderful Black Owned Spa to patronize in NYC. I’ve traveled from Harlem to Brooklyn, twice to enjoy their amazing couples massages with my beau. During my most recent visit, it was pouring out and we were welcomed with hot tea and towels. We loved the ambiance that they’ve created in Serenity’s intimate space and their attention to detail when assessing your needs. I have a recovering fractured knee that often requires a lot and felt very comforted by Terri’s gifted hands. Thank you again ladies! I look forward to booking my next spa treatment and supporting the greatness that is Serenity Garden!

Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to experience all that Serenity had to offer. I bought a Groupon to try out the Swedish massage as I was looking for a regular spot to get my once-​a-​month massage. When I tried to get an appointment, I was told there wasn’t any openings until after my Groupon expired, at which point the staff person suggested I give the Groupon code and they would then set up a massage for me after it expired as though I had prepaid for it. He also said that their computers were down for the day but he had made a note of the appointment and would send me a confirmation email.
A day later and no confirmation email. I assumed I would call in a few days before my appointment to confirm, and didn’t think about it since the staff person I spoke to was incredibly nice and seemed to have it all organized. A week before my actual appointment, I was called to say I had missed my appointment! Given that I had noted my appointment on my calendar, I was sure that that was a mistake. I tried to call them back, and left an email asking them to call me back, however I received no response. A day before the appointment, I called them again, this time leaving a voicemail again, and received a phone call again from whom I think was the same staff person I spoke to, saying he would try to check the records he had and get back to me about my appointment. Unfortunately, I did not hear back again. Since it has been only one day, I have effectively now missed the actual appointment. I am still waiting for that call back to see if my appointment can be rescheduled.

So let me start by saying, I’m about that massage life. I’ve had massages all over the city. This was the best massage of my life. Taneisha, I hope I’m not butchering the spelling. I want to compose a sonnet for your elbows and a symphony for your hands. You have me rethinking life decisions. I’m trying to find a way to convince Sallie Mae that school was cute but I need you on retainer.
Guys, don’t let the location or façade fool you. This place is the real deal.
Did I mention I called to schedule after they were closed and the owner went out of her way to call me back and upgrade me after hours?

We had the couples massage. Terri and Sherika did a great job. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Staff is extremely friendly and caters to the customer. Definitely check this spa out. You will be a very happy person once you leave the spa.

My appointment was booked with ease and the experience was great from start to finish. When I arrived at the top of the stairs, the ambiance was warm and relaxing and the staff members were very friendly and inviting. I received a one hour Swedish massage from Terri and it was AMAZING! She was so sweet and by the time my massage was over, I felt so relaxed. The dim lights, the sound of the soft music and the scented oils enhanced the experience. I will highly recommend this place to everyone and I will definitely be returning. I am so glad I decided to support this black owned business!

My experience was pretty good here. The massage was very relaxing and the therapist was very sweet and respectful. There is a little bit of what seemed a chemical smell in the room; it might have just been the smell of the oil, but she sprayed something on the sheets to diminish that a little. It wasn’t a big deal. I would go back, and it’s certainly worth it if you have a discount with the Groupon.

After a bit of a misunderstanding I thank the owner for reaching out to me. Thank you for your professionalism. Perhaps in the future I will book an appointment. It’s nice to know an owner cares about clients sentiments of the business.

What a HEAVENLY massage my husband and I had today! So worth every penny! The owner is lovely and accommodating. The massage therapists here are definitely well-​trained and very talented.
This is really quite a beautiful, well-​maintained salon. It smells so wonderful and there are nice little decorations and touches throughout the spa. When our massage was complete (wish it had gone on forever!!) they bought us chocolate, strawberries and champagne! Such a nice gesture! We will most definitely be returning to this spa in the future!

Me and my boyfriend had a great experience.
I took him here for Father’s Day, we got the Couples Massage, both had Swedish Tissue massage and it was great. Dyonne the Owner, she was extremely sweet an nice, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. All of the staff were pleasant and as we first arrived, we were greeted with some Champagne and after our massage, we wee give strawberries w/​chocolate and some more Champagne. I would gladly return to Serenity Garden Massage Spa, we had a nice time

Been to this spa three times, also took a chance on it because it is closer than the one I started going to in Manhattan. The owner is nice from the time you walk in the door, tries to work with you on price. I have acne so I see Norma for acne peels and she is amazing. The thighs she uses smells and feels natural. Takes her time and Tells me what I can do in between visits to help my acne. Face has gotten better. Look forward to going again soon. Def recommend!!!

Took a chance with this spa when trying to buy a last minute massage deal. So glad I found them! Great couples massage. The staff is great and the ambiance is nice. They even threw in a glass of champagne! We shall return!

My wife and I went to get a couples massage. By far the best experience ever. Great service, outstanding staff, just a great sense of serenity. As soon as I walk up the steps I felt like I was in a different world. This place is a diamond in the ruff! Absolutely amazing!

My gf and I had a couple’s massage here about a month ago and loved it so much that we went again last weekend. Everyone there remembered us and gave us hugs when we arrived and when we left. The massage was amazing; they ask you where to focus but still manage to do a thorough full body massage while addressing what you need. And then, after an hour of (at times intense, but amazing) bliss, they reward you further with a surprise gift at the end. I won’t ruin the surprise but let’s just say you won’t be hungry, thirsty, or in any pain by the time you leave. I can’t wait to come back here.

I got the groupon for a couple’s massage and had a great experience here today. Stacy was very friendly and professional when I set up the appointment, and she greeted us warmly upon arrival. All the staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. The space was lovely and comfortable, and the massages were excellent. They even left a surprise treat for us to enjoy when the massages were over. We left feeling great and will definitely return!

I took my husband here to kick off his birthday celebration. I ordered a couple’s massage. When we got there, the receptionist warm, friendly & welcoming. The décor & music was peaceful, lovely & relaxing. The young ladies who handled us were professional, friendly, attentive, catered to our individual needs, and gave extraordinary massages. The icing on the cake was the rose petals strewn throughout the room and massage tables, leading our eye to the champagne, chocolate & strawberries, beautifully waiting for us. The experience was wonderful. We love excellent massages & scheduled our next coup4les massage.

About a week ago I went to Serenity Garden with a group of friends and family to celebrate my cousins birthday. I loved it. We had the best time. We choose to get facials and back massages. Everything was so relaxing and the people were extremely professional. The owner came and we were all definitely satisfied with the service plus the prices are resonable. I never heard of them before and was a little skeptical of a spa on Flatbush Avenue, come to find out the spa recently opened. As soon as I walked in I knew I was going to enjoy myself. And it felt good to support a black owned local business. I will definitely be going back and will recommend this spa!
