I met the owner and his family on the streets of Williamsburg on Purim. I was looking for hamentashen, but all of the bakeries around me were closed. I walked up to this couple and asked where I could find hamentashen, and he told me he owned a bakery and had hamentashen upstairs. His family prepared a bag for me and treated me with such kindness that is so special and rare! Please treat this business well — great treats with even greater people making them! Thank you for your kindness, sir. A true mensch!

The best bakery in the area and I’m really honest now this is by far the best out there. There coffee is also really fresh, the manager is really nice guy and always trys to go a extra step for the customers. Try their best rugelach, napoleons, cheese ring, challah and many more delicious baked goods! Yum! I think I’m heading there now… Thanks shlomies! We by here every week!

The place in Brooklyn NY for Kosher baked goods. Pardon the spelling… this is going to be a butcher job. I have had several different items. The place is extremely clean, very impressed. The ruggelah is great, very fresh several varieties The mandel bread is outstanding. Fresh. perfect level if crunch. The wide variety of cakes makes this bakery very special. I have purchased, strawberry shortcake, tiramisu, and black and white. All were excellent. The bagels werent as good as I had hoped, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside… one criticism is that I think the dough needs salt. They have a few different types of cream cheese(no butter) tuna and egg salad for a nice sandwich. They have a large variety of breads and rolls. 4 stars instead of 5 for the employees who by their attitude would love to be somewhere else.

If u are looking for authentic baked goods, baked on the premises this is the place to be. They are not cheap but u get such amazing tasty treats. Thur is a day they make challah, which is the best ever. U can’t find better challah except for a home from s mom in Boro park:) I love this place n have been going there for years.

Shlomie’s is a great Kosher Bakery that’s conveniently located off the 50th Street stop on the D train. They have water and egg Challas that are always light and fluffy. They make the best Hamentachen in Brooklyn and make a good Rugelach too. One caveat. If you’re going for Challah, go early on a Friday. It’s a mob scene the closer you get to sundown!
