Steve Madden Shoes

The manager over thee is a fuckin bitch i bought boots the other day, took them home to show my mom and i ended up wanting to return them. I went back the very next day and the manager told me these cannot be returned they look like they have been worn. Right then and there i started saying my side of the story which i may have given a little attitude but come on i dont want the boots and im out 100 bucks. So i started crying and the manager who was a man this time finally told me i can have an even exchange.
The point of this is they are not willing to take your shoes back ladies! take this situation for example i wanted to return shoes i bought the day before and it looked like it has been worn. all i know is they have lost a dedicated customer.

I don’t normally do reviews of shoe or clothing stores, but I felt this store needed one.
I am a shoe lover, my closet can attest to that… And a Steve Madden lover. I’m also an on line clothing shopper, it’s just more convenient, but I prefer to do my shoe shopping in the store.
A Steve Madden store down the block from my office?! I thought if be dropping a fair amount of my pay check here! Unfortunately this is not the case. As the store is down the block from my office, I used to go in here about once a week (hello lunch break shoe shopping!), in all the times I have been in the store, I have yet to be greeted by an employer, they just usually stand around … maybe I’m just used to shopping in the city? But I have had to not only seek out an employee to try on a pair of shoes, I have to distract them from staring at their nails… the ceiling… space, and they seemed annoyed to be bothered.
The worst offense however (and I did work in costumer service in high school) was recently after they helped a costumer, one employee starting mocking the costumer to another employee, loudly… While myself and other costumers were still in the store. Cardinal rule, you never make fun of a costumer ON the floor. In the inventory room, sure, break room, of course, but never where the costumers can hear!
I gave 2 stars because I love me some Steve’s, but I think I’ll just do my buying on line or trek to the city.

I don’t buy my shoes here. But i but some of my husbands one season use winter boots here, they are fine, but by the end of the season are thrown out because they’re close to falling apart.
This place is more geared towed trendy teenaged girls. I’m always in here getting my niece the latest styles. I can get here 5 pairs of shoes and it’s probably less than $ 300. Everything is lowly priced and fits that trend of the season.
The girls who work here are sweet and bend over backwards to help you. Thanks girls! I come back to this location because of your assistance!

A certain everlasting procrastinator (I won’t name names, okay, fine, it’s me) was invited to an absolutely unmissable event on a chilly Thursday night, which required me to wear something I hardly ever wear on a daily basis — nice shoes. Since my dress was electric blue, thinking outside the box was needed… so I hopped it over to Bensonhurst for a little last minute Steve Madden action.
I walked in, probably looked like I was having an anxiety attack because I waited so long to do this and am already hopelessly picky as it is, and the courteous sales person came to every rescue imaginable. I told him what I was looking for, my price range, my colors, and my size — and the angel without wings came back with a pair that I bought literally seconds later. He also told me «It is going to be okay».* I was out in 5 minutes, and after going over in my head what I would say to the event host about why I was late, I wound up actually being early.** Steve Madden was pretty, pretty boss that night and I am eternally grateful.
*Probably the most important statement made that evening.
**Things like this hardly ever actually go this well in real life — I can assure you. Do not attempt.
