Here is the only thing you need to know: the daytime bartender has a laser precision talent for time. Which is everything. Go there. Saddle up the bar and know everything will be just fine.

I can’t say enough about this place! The hostess Bella is Supernice and our server John was attentive but not overbearing. I had a bad birthday experience at Peter Luger on my birthday and was seeking a steak redemption. I ordered the Grass Fed Filet Steak au Poivre and I was stunned at the quality. I would say it rivals Keen’s at about half the price. I really loved the atmosphere too. It does not feel cramped and crowded like Manhattan restaurants and I like the original artwork on display. I will be back for sure!

There was a bug on my burger when I got it! The burger bun was dry and stale. The burger patty itself was burnt at the ends and towards the center. The only good thing was the fries, I really enjoyed the fries. After seeing that bug on my bun I was completely disgusted.

Average drinks. Average atmosphere. And the lady that works the restaurant floor is super rude and ALWAYS has an attitude. Like I’ve never seen her not be rude.

the porkchops were deliciousssss!!! the bar is the coolest it goes all around and has a high and low part but it definitely fills up fast. My friend and I were seated at at table over looking the bar. Aside from ordering the porckchop(which was seasoned well) i got the lemonade drink. That was good as well. My friend ordered the penni pasta which came with sausage and he doesnt eat pork but the waitress apologized and kindly took it back to the chicken to substitute with chicken. I will definitely be back and it is very affordable

Typically over priced because it’s in Dumbo but unlike most restaurants, the quality of the cooking and ingredients come through in the food and almost make the price worth it. I have never seen a wilted piece of lettuce. The hiuse salad is $ 8 for a pile of lightly dressed leaves, but they’re so crisp and fresh and balanced that it’s worth it, in my book. It raises the bar for restaurants that clearly don’t take care with their greens(ALMAR) The soups are usually delicious and the meat is always cooked properly. At dinner, the calamari is to die for. It’s perfectly grilled. Perfectly. And the pizza is delicious and changing daily according to the chef’s best judgment. The only downside of this place might be the pasta; the noodles themselves are largely nothing to write home about and taste store bought. If you come here during lunch alone or with someone else, the service might end up being awfully slow so youd better sit at the bar where the chill bartender is always ready for you. From what I understand, this place is OG, a type of es establishment in Dumbo before Dumbo became what it is now. But Superfine has held up well and feels like the place still cares about what it does, unlike so many spots in Dumbo which are largely basic-bitch fare.

Everything aesthetically speaking was marvelous and their drinks(cocktails) are AMAZING! but the food not so much. My friends meal looked so disgusting and poorly cooked. Not to mention it tasted like pure lime… The calamari was so bland for being«grilled». Probably wouldn’t come again, except for that’s yummy rum cherry drink !!

Drinks were good. Eclectic furnishings. Not pretentious hipster crowd. Price of the food was a little high but it’s DUMBO after all. Service was attentive. Worst part… the noise and the acoustics. It gets loud quickly and I couldn’t hear anything beyond my colleagues sitting directly next to me. All six of us said the same thing afterwards — glad it’s not early onset hearing loss, but stay there longer and your ears will be ringing.

My client and I needed a quick lunch so we stopped here. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was pretty decent he ordered the portobello mushroom and he said it was good but has had better. I’m sure there are other better dishes to order. The service as extremely friendly and helpful though. I think I would give it another try and order something else.

Came here for a drink with some friends after a long day. I was underwhelmed by the beer and cocktail list and service. The atmosphere was cool though, but it was akward to stand at the bar on the high side and look down on the servers. We didn’t have any food or anything, so I might have to come back for dinner.

Stopped in for a quick work lunch and had the spghatini(sp). It was really flavorful and filling, and even though I sat at the bar, the service was delightful. There is something about this spot I really like. Gonna bring folks here for dinner sometime soon!

Revisited Superfine after many years… What a transformation of the menu… The space has that perfect blend of modern, artsy, local, industrial spattering of local artists artwork on the walls. 7PM on a Thursday night, not too crowded, not too loud, promptly seated. Enjoyed a delicate Campari lemonade cocktail and splurged on the steak au poivre with a side of mashed potatoes. Those potatoes, silky and chived, intended for sharing… But sadly, hoarded by me. So good. And I say splurge in the true sense of the word as this steak was, by far, the finest prepared and most tender piece of meat I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve eaten at Keens, Sparks, Peter Luger’s, Old Homestead… I finally know what the«melt in your mouth» experience is. $ 38 with a side of perfectly seasoned fries and a small salad. Solid. A short walk from the York Street stop on the F line.

5 stars for the food, 4.5 for service and 4 for the interiors. The food was of fantastic quality. While the price wasn’t on a low range, the size of each dish and the quality of the food were definitely worth the money. I went with my husband on a Saturday night and we got a grilled calamari salad for appetizer, grilled pork chop and spaghetti with home-made sausage as mains, a small slice of orange cake for dessert, and a bottle of wine. The calamari salad and the spaghetti were the best we’ve ever had — good quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and came in generous portions. The pork chop was really tender and tasty. The total bill came to $ 140, which is reasonable for a quality three-course dinner with wine in New York. Our waiter was nice and helpful, however, we find the lady greeting and taking us to our seat not very friendly. The space itself is beautiful with old brick walls, exposed beams and metal ramps dividing the space into the bar, game and dinning areas, yet the interiors seemed randomly put together. The choice of mismatch vintage tables and chairs fell flat as they look too cheap for a place that charge the price they charge. A random and cheap looking lantern stood in contrast with the industrial lighting in the rest of the space. The intimacy of the dinning area created by warm lighting and candles on the tables was offset by the cold light coming from the protruding stainless steel kitchen counter. It was a good find in Dumbo, will definitely come back for the food and see if the interiors are any better during daytime.

«Superfine«est l’un des endroits favoris des artistes, des hipsters et des familles aisées de Brooklyn. Situé à Dumbo non loin du pont de Brooklyn, le genre d’endroit où il est bon de se retrouver pour prendre un verre en début de soirée et éventuellement diner. Une institution dans ce quartier car il s’agit d’un bar, d’un restaurant, et même d’un lieu avec parfois des concerts. On y vient… on y passé…

This place has one of the best pork chop brunches I’ve ever had. I think it’s a must to try here. It is extremely well cooked. It’s moist with a wood grill finish. My only problem with the pork chop brunch plate is that they put apples next to potatoes which makes no sense to me, but I give them to my wife so it works out. I’ve also eaten lunch here. My burger was very good and my wife’s chicken sandwich was even better. Not the best burger I had, but very good. The 5 stars that I’m giving to this place however definitely have to do with the pork chop brunch. P. S. People that are giving negative reviews to this place don’t focus on the food. So to me totally useless.

If we were coming for drinks only, I may rate this place 4 stars. But we actually wanted good food as well as drinks. Disappointed. The good: The Macho Grande, a Margarita served in a pint glass did not disappoint. All the power you want in a Margarita without the taste of bottled sweet and sour. The bartender makes the lime mix fresh offering a flavorful double Margarita. The traditional Manhattan with Maker’s Mark was done right as well. The not so good: We were starving and excited to start with an appetizer, 2 entrees and maybe dessert. The menu however, was rather boring. A struggle to find mouthwatering descriptions. A number of meatless options if that’s what your looking for. We managed to find 1 entrée that we settled for. Penne with homemade sausage. The homemade factor didn’t prove to shine. If nothing else, a basic burger would have been a good fall back option for this bar, but no such option.

A great find in Dumbo, in the shadow of the Manhattan Bridge and a stone’s-throw from the York Street subway station(F line). The place has a very cool, low-key vibe, with a nice long bar, exposed brick, and friendly staff — the kind of place you feel instantly comfortable with. All three of us ordered different variations of the breakfast burrito, filled with scrambled eggs, house-made sausage, jack cheese, pinto beans, and a healthy amount of green chiles, perfect for anyone who likes a little heat with their eggs in the morning — that subtle yet oh-so-satisfying burn. The burrito comes with some nice breakfast potatoes and some fresh salsa, making for a great start to the day. We lucked out and were treated to some live music by Brad Vickers and the Vestapolitans, some great American blues/R&R to go along with a great breakfast(and a very nice spicy bloody mary). Definitely a really nice way to start a sunny fall morning in Brooklyn!

I feel like the food and everything here very much mirrors the name of the establishment. We had the pizza, the chicken wings and the truffle, oyster pasta. All of the food was good, but it all also tasted and looked like a hastily prepared family meal. The drinks and everything also seemed fine. It’s definitely a bar that I would come to and chill with decent food and an open ambiance.

I don’t trek to Brooklyn much, and Superfine is a good example why. 1) The drinks aren’t much cheaper than Manhattan. 2) DUMBO is loud. Something about trains overhead rattling by. 3) Yes there is a free pool table, but the thing is in complete shambles. 4) Their leather couches and theater seats are(I guess?) suppose to be artsy… but they just look run down, beat up, ripped, and makes me wonder if I might get bed bugs. Stay in Manhattan. Send me a message on where to go for a free full sized pool table and intact, comfortable, and hygenic leather couches.

Superfine it’s a nice restaurant. I come here every once in a while If I happen to be in DUMBO. I like the general atmosphere, and the food is really tasty, but last time I had dinner there it was so loud. I was barely able to talk with the people at my table(and we were 6!) Beside this annoying aspect, I highly suggested. Service is quick and nice. Particularly good are lobster salad and pork chops. And don’t forget to try their French fries! Tiny and delicious!

Superfine NYBKDUMBO Saturday 11th July 2015 Four Stars The restaurant was fairly empty except for the decently busy center bar. The atmosphere is pretty laid back with an upscale feel. I really like that there is seating along the backside of the bar and the pool area in the front. Our birthday party sat in the far back corner below the Coney Island mermaid parade banner. We enjoyed some liquor, wine, and beer. The grilled calamari with endives, carrots, and dressed with an anchovy vinaigrette was quite good but I think the squid should have been featured more in the dish. The fried squash blossom was one large flower battered, fried, and stuffed with cheese. Both were good starters to share. The Bone-In Pork Chop had a Cajun flavor with actual grill lines. The meat was quite juicy and tender except around the bone. The Gouda Mac n Cheese that accompanied the entrée was delicious. The pasta was lightly sauced and less creamy. The Gouda flavor was mild. The addition of broccoli lightened the dish and add a bit of crunch. However there was not enough cheese of veggies for my tastes. Aside Note: I get pet peevish when a restaurant calls their pasta and cheese combination as «Macaroni and Cheese» but in actuality the pasta used is something other than macaroni. This restaurant used«cavatappi» which is a ridged tubular corkscrew pasta which is in the macaroni family. So this place actually can said Mac n cheese. For example: If I order ravioli and you give me tortellini, I think that most people would feel a bit mislead. The spaghettini was the best looking dish and most filling without the presence of a protein. The service was good. They added a 20% auto gratuity which is illegal but always fine by me.

This was me and my fiancé’s second date night spot, so we decided to return with our parents for a beautiful morning brunch/lunch. It definitely was as good as I remembered it. With fresh ingredients and super boozy bloody mary’s, I’m sad we didn’t think of coming here earlier. I guess we’ll have to come and indulge after the wedding diet. For brunch, I’d highly suggest the breakfast burrito(I couldn’t finish it) and the pork chop with eggs(this is more of a dinner meal though). As a second point, I’ve always loved how this restaurant looks. Located at the bottom of the bridge, it has beautiful levels and very welcoming open spaces. It’s probably a big hit with all the start ups in the area after work for happy hour.

We stopped in Superfine after dinner for some more revelry. They had a decent beer list, and a lot of empty tables where our group parked it for a while. There wasn’t anything special about Superfine, but it was nice that they had tables open, it was quiet enough for conversation, and wasn’t super crowded.

*** Casual hang out area, Lots of drink selections *** This is only reviewing the location and the drinks. The venue is very large and they serve food and drinks. A group of us came here to hang out and cool down; we had to get our drinks ourselves even though we were sitting at a table. The menu had a lot of selection to choose from.
