I ordered delivery, so I can’t speak for the actual brick & mortar restaurant… I’ve never seen Mango Sticky Rice with BROWN rice and super non-ripe white mango chunks. It was GROSS. My ramen was delicious but wtf is up with this dessert???

The sushi rolls were good– loved the mango avocado rolls. The udon noodle soup we got was so plain and bland. It seemed like they used water as a base instead of chicken or vegetable stock/broth. It was totally empty and America’s Filunniest Home Videos was playing pretty loudly.

For local sushi and ramen, this is my go-to place. No, it’s not top quality. Some rolls are on the sweet side. The ramen can be a bit salty and the pork a little overcooked(though pork belly sitting in hot broth doesn’t travel well). But the flavors are generally on point and definitely enough to satisfy my sushi or ramen cravings when I don’t feel like leaving home. Can’t wait to try their thai food!

Was disappointing to pay $ 2 extra for an egg in my ramen, and receive a fully cooked hard boiled egg just floating on top. How do you incorporate that in to the soup? My girlfriend threw her ramen away without eating much. I finished mine but will likely not order from here again.

I ordered delivery and never received it after 2 hours. I called continuously but the phone was busy. I finally was able to get through and a woman told me 8 more minutes. After 20 more minutes I called to cancel the order. The person tried to argue and say 2 more minutes. Awful experience.

These guys don’t know how to make Thai food. The flavors are all wrong, and they throw in ingredients that don’t belong in particular Thai recipes. What results are dishes that aren’t particularly authentic or tasty. This place criminally underseasons their curries. The yellow curry was tasteless, and the potatoes were simmered too long and were coming apart, so the dish was a gross, yellow potato water with only hints of what the actual flavor should actually be like. I tried my favorite Thai dish at this place, Pad See Ew, and it was completely wrong — they include green peppers, which don’t belong in the normal recipe and give the whole thing an overpowering bitter taste. But they also dumped a gross store-bought spice blend on top — they didn’t cook it in, they just dumped it along the top of the dish. So you’ll get mouthfuls of sharp, raw spice on top. Their Pineapple Fried Rice, as well, was underseasoned, but featured the same spice blend dumped over the top — the dish isn’t fragrant or nice, with little meat and a few canned pineapple chunks throughout. There isn’t another Thai place in the area, which is a shame. But this place isn’t even good as a last resort. If you’re looking for Thai, please don’t come here. I don’t know about their Sushi, but their Thai game is way off point.

I have been coming to this location for years. The rolls are good and you can substitute white rice for brown rice which is a bonus for me because all sushi spots due not offer this«healthier» alternative. I would also suggest trying their seafood salad, its real seafood and not that nasty imitation stuff. They also have dine in specials and senior citizen discounts.

I ordered mango chicken. My mom ordered pad Thai. Foot taste very fresh and came with large portions. Mine came with miso soup or salad. I chose the salad and again very fresh! No complaints… reasonably priced!

I havent ordered from here in ages and today was a reminder why. 16.50 for a regular beef teriyaki… not a bento box. 6.50 bucks for ONE shrimp tempora roll. Cut into four pieces. The only thing that made sense was the 5 dollar shumai. Whats crazy is the lack of value. 30 dollars for this? Nope not worth it! There are other places with better choices.

Don’t get delivery unless you like your food thrown all around. It’s super awesome when your food is inedible because you can’t even pick it up. Paid too much for terrible customer service and subpar sushi. Also, rudest staff possible. Less than 1 star.

This is one of my favorite delivery Thai foods in the area. I even took a group of 40 students here one time so they could experience Thai food.

Okay I don’t know why this place gets such bad reviews but when I lived in crown heights, my boyfriend and I would come here almost every day. I’ve never met a manager who was so friendly and attentive. He actually helped with the orders for delivery and waited on us and even talked to the sushi chefs, instead of just managing from the back. The outside seating is pretty nice too, even though it’s right on the sidewalk but hey it’s NYC. And the food is soo good(although to be honest, every time we go, we just get the thai fried rice and their noodles)! Huge selections of so many different types of food — both Japanese and Thai — and HUGE portions too so it really feels like you’re getting a bang for your buck. P.S They have special discounts for people who eat in! There’s like a secret menu(that hangs in the middle of the restaurant)

Very affordable rolls and dishes, with an abundance of options to choose from. Some offerings were a little bolder. I decided to try one safe item(sweet potato tempura roll) and one item that I had not seen before(avocado and peanut butter roll.) Both were mediocre. I expected a more exciting combination of flavors when I ordered the avocado and peanut butter roll, but it’s flavor didn’t really stand out. The texture was very one note. Certainly not something that is worthy telling your friends to venture out of their comfort zone for. The sweet potato tempura roll was also pretty tame. The tempura was cooked well, but not very seasoned. My friends got pad thai and gyoza. The sentiment was pretty much the same across the board: none of the food was noteworthy a positive or negative sense. Service-wise, my party was satisfied at the beginning. We were quick to be sat, quick to get the order in, and quick to get our food. After that, it slowed a little, but not to an alarming amount. Overall, nothing about this place stands out, but it is also not a place I would actively avoid. If you’re low on money, low on time, near this place, and very hungry then its not a bad place, but certainly not somewhere I would need delivery from or go out of my way to go to.

If you must get sushi, get the love boat or the sushi platter. You’ll get more bang for your buck. I’ve only had delivery from them and would have given 5 stars if not for the one delivery guy who doesn’t like to delivery to my apartment door. He always wants you to come out to the street. Sheesh!

Smh. This place is horrible. I thought I would have gotten a lot of spicy tuna, and the other two orders of sushi I ordered for the price I paid last night. Never again will I order from this place. I’ll stick to my regular sushi restaurant.

Last night I found myself starving so after work so I ordered from Sushi Tatsu II for the second and LAST time. I placed my order through Grubhub for an order of dumplings, two sushi rolls, and some ice-cream. The order came pretty quick from a very courteous driver(he salvaged the lone star in this rating). I sit down, unwrap everything, and proceed to begin to pretty much inhale this food cuz I was soooo hungry. I get through my dumplings and 1.5÷2 rolls when I bite something hard with a metallic taste. As I spit out my mouth’s contents and sift through the madness, I find a freaking staple in one of my Philly roll pieces. YESLADIESANDGENTS A STAPLEINMYSUSHIROLL. Thank God that by then I was already full and hence was chewing super slow and going through the motions to finish my meal because this could’ve turned out a million times worse. I could’ve done more harm to my gum and teeth or even swallowed this. How does a staple even end up in a sushi roll is clearly beyond my IQ level. Is your sushi station a part-time book-keeper’s desk? Did I interrupt your Chef filing his W-2s with my order? Sushi Tatsu you guys have nooooo idea how big of a bullet you dodged by me not getting more than a sore gum. And to add insult to injury, when I called the restaurant promptly, the lady tries to rush me off by offering me a $ 5 credit for one of the rolls. REALLY??? Now if after reading this, you guys still dine from Sushi Tatsu, I tip my hat to you adventure junkies cuz you clearly are looking for the next thrill ride… probably better you try bungee jumping without a rope. You might live longer! — Reformed sushi lover
