Target

I’ve been shopping at this Target location since 2011. It’s one level and has the basic Starbucks, café, pharmacy stuff you’d expect to see. I like coming here because it’s clean, the aisles are pretty wide and it’s usually well stocked. I’ve never had any problems with associates here and the cashiers are usually good about getting the lines down when they build up. Also they always have lots of registers open, especially on high traffic days. The prices are pretty much in line with the other location I tend to frequent and it’s super convenient for me to come here with my toddler and do the rest of our shopping at the two supermarkets located in the outdoor mall. Unless something serious happens, I will continue to shop here.

If I am in the area, I would come to this Target if I really needed to. The prices here are really off compared to the Valley Stream location. I have no idea why. I get my Essie nail polish from Target and Walmart for $ 8.50. This location sells them for $ 9.89?! I don’t get it? Some of my other products that I usually get from Target are overpriced as well.
The staff is just okay, the store is clean from what I’ve seen. and they have good selections, just bad pricing.
I wouldn’t recommend.

Today 11/​27/​2015 is the last time I go to this location, bought camping equipment in july and my credit card was shut down for fraudulent activity I called master card and was told this target store at the gateway mall is the worst target has for stolen credit use. Knowing this info about the store as I waited for Master card to be reset I noticed 4 male of dark complexion hand over 12 different credit cards checking each one by buying $ 25 gift cards. When a card didn’t work the girl behind the counter hands the card back and the criminal would give her another to check. over and over 12 times. I said I wouldn’t go back but here we are black Friday weekend I tried to buy an Ipad and my card again shut down, as 3 guys next register over bought 7 ipad air 2 128g. When one card wouldn’t work they pull out a different card and try the transaction over again. THE PROBLEM AT THIS STORE IS THE EMPLOYEES and MANAGEMENT. people are always going to steal but if you as management don’t care why would the employees care. I will also write the CEO and cc every officer at target to report this stores failure. maybe one will listen

Come late, avoid the long lines. I did some shopping for party goods on a weekday night around 8PM.
Cashiers could’ve at least say «Hi» next time.

This target made me start a new thing if you go into a store and have 3 bad experiences that store is not for you. This is to big to be having SO much mishaps. Poor costumer service and long lines at the registers

This is the best target location in Brooklyn. Besides the fact that it has parking, but the store is very spacious and has a greater variety compared to its counter parts. Also the fact that it’s surrounded by other stores and restaurants in the vicinity giving me multiple options.

Every time I come to this target their aisles are always needing inventory ! Why??? It’s a Saturday for God sake! You should have your aisles stacked!!! Ughhhh! They get one star for distance and one for staff at the counters.

This location is convenient.
Parking is free & the store is huge.
Always a whole bunch of scammers in here around the holidays.
I went in to buy a video game and it took me 30 minutes to check out because the whole of Starrett City was in the electronics section trying to buy out the whole thing with 50 damn gift cards each.
Thought I would’ve been in and out because it was a Monday night, but I was wrong.
Maybe it wouldn’t have been so obvious if there wasn’t a gang of them roaming the aisles with their hoods up or gathered next to the cash register making the cashier nervous.
Customer service is alright.
It’s not the best, but it isn’t the worst either.
The cashiers are usually nice & if I need help from someone in the aisles they’re knowledgeable.
Besides that, this location isn’t bad.
Come at the right time and you’re in & out in less than 10 minutes.
I mean, you’re going to come in for like 3 things & leave with 30, but that’s the risk you take when you enter any Target.

The only Starbucks for miles is here, and yet they were out of soy milk on the THREE days I went there. On one visit, the employee said they had been out for at least a week. Ridiculous.
The girls behind the Starbucks counter talk too much and consequently mess up orders. For example, why do I know that someone left a job making $ 400-​something but now she’s working at Target part time. Their hateration was in overdrive.
I once came in 10 minutes before closing trying to get a latte and was told, «We don’t have any right now. All we have is coffee.» Translation: The girl had cleaned everything so she could peace out on time. But shouldn’t the Starbucks be full service until closing time?
I’ve witnessed some pretty horrible things here in terms of customer service, and I use that term loosely.
Years ago, a heavily pregnant woman slipped on a spill. I went to get an employee, who responded with all the urgency of a doped-​up slug.
Another employee snapped at an older gentleman who asked, «Excuse me. What’s the price of this?» She responded, «I don’t know the prices of everything.»
Chile, shut the front door. If that was my 87-​year-​old grandfather, I might have been going to trial … and would have gotten off on a shopper-​distress defense.
There are never enough registers open unless you come in really late, really early or during work hours on a weekday.
Some of the prices in the produce aisle are utterly ridiculous.
With all of that said, I love Target, and I feel like the employees are on a campaign to be friendlier now that competition has increased in this shopping center. Also, the store is pretty clean and spacious.

This target is the worst!!! Over 20 registers and you are LUCKY if five are open at the same time.
The workers in the Starbucks and food section need more training. They are always gossiping around customers. And most of the times aren’t pleasant

Worst customer service. EVER! No one wanted to help me find what I was looking for. One girl told me she can’t help because she’s on break. Oh. Ok. There was one nice girl, Nu’nauvia. She ended up helping me find what I needed. But this place is ghetto.

This is the worst target store that I have ever been to! They never have anything in stock their grocery section looks empty like if there was a huge storm coming to the area! It’s disorganized and the staff is very unhelpful! I am currently walking with crutches and wanted to use a motorized cart but didn’t know how to use it. I had to wait for the employee to finish his conversation with another employee just to get help. I just walked away and did it myself. And this place is straight up ghetto ! YES I DID NOT KNOW HOW TO USE A ELECTRIC CART BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HAD TO!

HORRIBLE BRANCH. I’ve never been treated like this.
I love shopping, I really do. When I have it, I like to splurge and one night after dinner I decided to go here to do so. Me and two other girls shopped around for maybe an hour and a half before I decided to check out. My bill ran up to $ 260.00 but meh, I was fine with it. Mind you I had a long wait on line, and there was a man behind me talking obnoxiously into his cell phone.
When I was done I took my bags and headed out the door to my ride when a police officer, a random hispanic man, and the obnoixious guy from behind me on the line cornered us in the exit area.
«You ladies know why we stopped you.» Uh, no? We had no clue what was going on. They accused us of stealing and made us open our purses and target bags. Then when they confirmed we hadn’t taken anything they simply chose to walk off.
No sorry, no anything! So me being rather feisty I yelled «What were we stopped for?!»
and they responded by saying «You looked suspicious.» Oh yes, a young girl in a sundress making a huge purchase right in front of your eyes is suspicious. I’d never been more disgusted in my life.

I wish I was the manager here. I’ve heard this one lady, whom I assume is some kind of manager here, yell across aisles and cash wraps at other employees telling them what to do. The lines in this place can be really long and really ridiculous at any given moment. It’s almost as if no one works there at times. And most of the registers there don’t get any usage. Not even around the holidays. The store can be very sloppy again at any given moment and no one is there to fix it until late at night when it’s time to close. Management here sucks and you can see it in the employees behavior. The only reason I continue to come here is because of the convenience. If there were another one closer to me or if a walmart opened up, if never come back here, EVER!!!

Convienant location for me but this Target is not as good as others. There is barely anything for Men’s as far as clothes. It also usually very busy on weekends.

Eh. This is a standard NYC Target (those in other areas are better) meaning it’s a bit disorganized and clothing sizes can be hard to find. I browse but don’t find much I want to buy, especially because they don’t carry the best of anything. I can stand in the small appliance aisle and scan UPCs of food processors and find that Amazon customer reviews for these models are only 2 ½ or 3 stars. And the prices are too high for such meh merchandise. I usually find something worth buying in housewares or linens.

So I was in target got everything I needed and the line that I was on moved quickly which is a plus. And on top of that the cashier bagged up all my items the way I liked it. Thank a lot register #12 @ 1242 pm good joooobbbb…

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I have a love/​hate relationship with Target… anytime I come here is to pick up necessities and little nick nacks here and there but there is ALWAYS something more that you wanna buy while you’re there when you know you shouldn’t…lol.
Gotta love Target for pretty much having mostly the essentials of household needs at discounted prices… Gotta hate Target for luring you in to buy more than what you should or what you can afford at the time. Not to mention not the best customer service with mostly kids (teens/​early 20 somethings) that work here but that is to be expected.
Also if you are a frequent Target consumer you should already know or at least be forewarned that of course the weekend and after 4PM on Friday are the absolute WORSE times to go to Target being that it is always crowded at these times which can be very frustrating, especially considering if you are using a cart for shopping and also considering the narrow aisles that this super convenient store has. Best days to shop… Tuesday-Thursday’s, (Open-​about 5PM)

Unless you can get here early on a weekday (yes, weekday), don’t bother. This place has a lot of traffic on a weekends. What does this mean? They always run out of what you’re looking for and sale items. Oh, did you come all the way out here for the Ms. Jessie’s buy one get one sale? Sorry, we’re all out. Please take a rain check.
Customer service? I’m sure they would have sub-​par service if they actually had enough employees to walk the floors. And if you do speak to one, chances are, it’s not their section so they can’t help you.
The baby section is a hot mess. There are clothes and items on the floor, you can never find the size you need, and as I mentioned before, don’t expect to get anything on sale because they run out quick.

This Target misses the mark… widely!
–Clientele skews towards the unsavory.
–Aisles are crowded with full carts of stuff.
–Floor was dirty in many places in the food section… do people really spill that much sticky liquid? (Naturally, I don’t ask that question at all the places I patronize)
–Not fully stocked on merchandise… I could only buy a few boxes of oatmeal. :(
If you have first world problems like me, then this Target is your nightmare. I actually saw a head of lettuce sitting on top of a candy display near the checkout.
I say avoid this Target.
P. S. To the Target of Levittown: Can you ever forgive me for going to this other Target? I don’t know what I was thinking. I’m so, so sorry. Please, I love you.
