Fried chicken was so nasty greasy and old it was inedible. It actually squirted grease at me and the chicken inside was so stringy and overcooked. I didn’t know food could be dry and greasy at the same time. Maybe I got a piece that was sitting under the lamp too long. Kind of gross they don’t throw out their old crusty fried chicken and instead sell it

Ick, I had fried chicken and Mac and cheese from here, it’s cheap but save your money, the Mac and cheese tastes powdery and like no pasta in it the chicken was not well spiced or fried and way too greasy, which is what I was in for but this just didn’t hit the mark at all for me, also the delivery guy called to say he was downstairs before he got there so I was left waiting outside for him to arrive, not cool

This place was my stoned/drunk mecca of brooklyn. i have trekked for 40 fucking minutes to get here, only to be spoiled into eternity through a wonderous ooze of fried chicken, fried chicken burgers, and cheap fries that tasted as if they were moderately expensive fries. Go here.

This is the best neighborhood fried chicken joint I’ve ever been to. I actually ate here like 5 years ago and was enamored with the little sweet sweet potato pies, but couldn’t remember exactly where it was. Imagine my joy when I realized I had moved just a few blocks away. The chicken is good, the biscuits are good, the pies are adorable, everything is cheap. The guy that works there has the patience of a saint. This is the spot.

Best fried chicken and great price(2pc dinner gets you 2pcs of fried chicken, french fries and a biscuit for about $ 5). Service is what you expect, quick and to the point. They are always open and they have funny«urban» themed temporary tattoos.

Pretty good chicken! The skin was crispy and the chicken pieces had a good amount of meat. Tasted overly greasy and a bit overcooked, but definitely exceeded my expectations. Biscuits were soft and good but definitely not layered or flaky, kind of cornbread like. Will probably go back though.

Best fried chicken! Super crispy, flavorful skin, very moist meat. Biscuit was meh, mashed potato sucked, but who cares? The place is called Tasty Chicken for a reason. Mad cheap too!

The biscuits here reminded me of descriptions I’ve read of the Chernobyl disaster: «the air had a sour, metallic taste…» But the chicken nuggets are decent, and the burger is passable as long as you skip the grainy-textured imitation American cheese.
