I don’t take pizza lightly ATALL, nor do i usually use Unilocal to do anything besides complain about really crummy businesses, but I love 3 Luigis so much that I’ve just gotta leave a good review. This place fucking rules. The plain slices are great, and the grandma slice is one of the best I’ve had. Not sure about the other stuff on the menu, but the pizza is A+++++

Not the best… by any means. But good, tasty, satisfying pizza for a slice before you head to Manhattan for the night. I have eaten here several times, when I lived around the corner. It’s in a very convenient location and let’s be honest… If we did not live in NYC and happened to live somewhere in Oklahoma or something, this pizza would be bomb. BUT, we DO live in NYC… so 4⁄5 star ratings are reserved for the likes of DiFara, Spumoni Gardens, etc…

After living in the neighborhood for a few years, and just moving– I miss this place so much. The pizza is outstanding, and the people that work here are so nice. I can’t speak for any of there other food, but seriously go. Favorites: Plain Grandma’s Sicilian Caesar’s it’s making my mouth water just writing this…

Decent slice for an average price. I was hungry and even though I went for 2 classic slices they had a wide variety available. I’m around here pretty often and I plan on coming back.

Small, cheap place with a good selection for sit-down dinner or pizza-to-go. I got oil and garlic pasta on fettuccine. First, the pasta was extremely dry and rather undercooked. It tasted rubbery. Nor did I taste much garlic in the sauce — just a few cloves plopped in there. It was very, very bland. You can customize your pasta with any type of noodle, not something you find many places. They only take debit and credit so I had to run back to my place. Not a big deal. The guy who serviced me(see what I did there) was nice, none of the jerkiness I encounter at chain stores here. I generally prefer these low-key, no-frills, no attitude place to the bougey ones sprouting all around it. This dish was lazy.

These guys treat their customers like family. The pizza is good and the service is great.

This little«hole in the wall» pizza spot is worth trying. They have random flavors along with the classics. It looks more like a grab and go spot but they do have limited seating. It’s not one of those places where they have a host and they sit you. It’s first come first serve and fight to death for a seat unless your going to get it and leave. Pizza comes out quick and if you sit down they bring the pizza to you! Great service and pizza is really delicious. I ordered the Bacon BBQ Chicken Ranch Pizza split between 5 of my cousins and one pie made us full. It’s also BYOB if your in the mood to drink while eating inside. Beware though if your sitting in the back tables they only have one restroom where you might meet new friends who’s waiting to use it.

Have been coming here sporadically for pizza over my past few years in the neighborhood and though it’s fine in a quick fix, the food and service are consistently unmemorable. Luigi Pizzeria, over on Dekalb, has much better, fresher slices in my opinion.

It amazes me how many people don’t realize The 3 Luigis are the same folks as Luigis on DeKalb, no wonder the food is so good eh? Try some of the hot plates, the eggplant layers are my fave… I would eat there more often but I gotta walk past the DeKalb spot to get there and stop in for a bite…

A+ spot. 1. Pizza is delicious 2. Service is great 3. It’s quick What else do you want from a pizza by the slice joint? P. S.: They also have a decent amount of variety to choose from.

The only thing good about this place is its close, other than that the food is passable as edible, the garlic knots are dry, the pizza is always gummy and the cheese is rubbery, the calzone only half cooked. If you want to enjoy the pizza you eat, make the trip to Nice pizza on Franklin.

Great pizza! I literally have been trying to make my way over to The 3 Luigis for quite a while and I’m glad I finally made it over. There weren’t that many seats but it was packed mid-day. I’ll be back to try the veggie slice for sure.

Surprisingly great for a hole in the wall-esque little joint. I’ve had their BBQ chicken pizza and one of their vodka sauce pastas(was it linguini? I don’t remember), which had bits of bacon and mushroom in it. Didn’t expect their pasta to be that good — the actual noodles themselves. It also came with garlic knots, which were a great addition. Pizza bread/crust was also great — it my favorite part, which is saying something, because usually I’m in it for the cheese. I’ve also had their grandma style?(sicilian) pizza for takeout/delivery which was almost like tomato pie. 4 stars for being great for what it is — a casual, not the cleanest, pizza joint.

Not mind-blowing, but a solid slice in Clinton Hill. Think they had about 10 different pizzas available to pull a slice from, each one looked damn decent. We had a pep/mushroom and hawaiian and both were tasty. If you’re in need of a quick bite, this’ll be more than fine…

This looking for a quick bite while doing laundry or on the way out to the bar? Then the Luigi’s is your place. The grandma slice is amazing. Thick crust, great sauce. Plain slices are always a great staple too. Add a bunch of cheese, red pepper flakes, oregano and you are set.

This is my go-to pizza place in my neighborhood. The ingredients are fresh and good quality, and they are made pretty quickly. My only complaint is that they don’t deliver! What kind of hole-in-the-wall pizza joint doesn’t deliver? Since its the best around, though, I often pick it up anyway. Get a delivery man, three luigis! I’d give you more of my money!

I must say, I am not from NY, so I have no preconceived notion of «real» NY pizza. But I know how I like my pizza, thin and crisp, piping hot with melty cheese, a little bit of sauce, olive oil, garlic and a good amount of basil. I tried the margherita slice here and I really like it! I crave it sometimes. It’s three dollars a slice, and I’ll pop in every once in a while and get a slice of margherita or the honey mustard chicken, which is also good.

I must first begin by saying that I’m not from NYC. I came here with the expectation of finding foodgasms in the form of pizza, and I had been largely disappointed until I found The 3 Luigis. This place is TOPNOTCH. There’s hardly any room inside to eat or wait for your pizza, but that’s totally cool when you live so close. The menu changes pretty regularly, but I’ve tried both the thin NY style pizza and the big, doughy, thick crust kind(working title) – and they were both absolutely delicious. Before when people talked about gaining weight in NY, I thought it was some joke I didn’t get(I like my comedy funny), but now I can see how even with all the walking it could be possible. I have limited myself to one visit a month, but believe me when I say you’re going to want this all the time!

Honey Mustard Pizza. Yeah, I said it… I stumbled upon this place while getting chips and beer for a party. I stopped in to grab a slice and saw something that I’ve never seen before. Honey Mustard Pizza. The pizza consisted of Chicken with honey mustard drizzled all over it. It’s like eating chicken fingers to go. Really damn tasty. I’m definitely going to come back and try the other concoctions they have. I saw that they have a Caesar Salad Pizza as well. That’s on my next trek.

Without a doubt, the best Brooklyn slice I’ve had since my youth — practically unparalleled. So why only 4 stars? Mainly a hygiene issue. I’ve had to more than once tell the guys to not touch my pizza(the back crust) with their hands since they’re most times the ones who’ve handled the cash as well. I hate that. Use the spatula-thingee — that’s what others do!
