Went there on wings night. It was 3 of us. We showed up and the waitress told us she can seat us soon. Waited 45 min with her saying… next table .next table… still nothing. When it was our turn finally to get the table, she gave it to another group that just walked in because they were 4 and we were 3. We lost our patience and just walked out. Fuc you guys.

Just moved to Dyker heights. This place knows how to cook their wings(has that crunch). The buffalo sauce is perfect. Not so happy about their blue cheese. 60 cent Wednesday’s, you can’t beat! Great atmosphere and will be back again, maybe even for football season since they play all the games!

Extremely impressed by this pub. Ideal location & super friendly staff. Good service and this place fills up fast! Came to watch a game and it was a pleasant experience considering I hate watching sports. Decent drinks and obviously get the wings. Don’t order non-pub food. Sweet spot;will definitely recommend!

Not impressed at all! We went to this bar on a Saturday around 3:00pm and the service was extremely slow. There was one waiter serving about 10 tables. Ugh. After ordering it took over 40 minutes to get out food. I got a burger and fries, my sister ordered the fish & chips and my brother got boneless chicken. All the food was cold and a long piece of hair was on my burger. OMG! Of course I sent the food back only to receive an extremely well done burger when I requested it medium and the food was just average and nothing to brag about. Definitely wouldn’t go there again! Uck!!!

First off, this is not your typical bar. The food is above average and by food, I mean wings. Their drinks are not loaded with ice. And most importantly, their service is great. Our waiter checked up on us several times throughout our meal. Additionally, my favorite part about the visit is that they played country music! It’s not your usual bar music but it matched the ambience of the place. We ordered a Red Bull Vodka and Whiskey Sour; both drinks were delicious! We had the Luau and the Big Bear wings. The wings are larger than your normal wings but they should be for the price. It was $ 7.25 for 6 wings, a bit pricey, especially for a sports bar. However, the consistency of the sauces were just right — it was just thick enough to coat the wings, but not too liquidy that sauce got all over your hands. The Luau was tangy from the plum sauce and a little sour from the pineapple. It could have been a touch sweeter. The Big Bear wings were honey BBQ and they were pretty good. Overall, it was a wonderful first experience.

Great wings and drinks. I come here with my boyfriend often. Usually the vibe is awesome after 11pm because they have a DJ and great music. Although, we went last week and it was kind of dead there on a Friday night and the music was OKAY.

I just keep coming back here because their wings are the best. Tip: Unilocal check in and you’ll get some money off their beer!(At the moment, hopefully that deal doesn’t go away!) This is a no frills fun sports bar with awesome food. Come here for a great time with your friends and to watch a game. Recommendations: Wings — Obvious choice: Standout flavors are: the Ragin’ Cajun, Maryland Bay, Fitzpatrick’s. You’re gonna need a beer or two to help wash down the awesome wings. Fries — I would recommend you just get regular fries and gulp it down with some blue cheese dressing. Way better than getting their gussed up cheese fries because the cheese on those fries cools down quickly and it just becomes a plastic-y looking mess. Potato Corn Chowder — Damn this is good. Get it if you are hankering for something not completely meat-filled. Special deals are Boneless Wings on Mondays — I loved this! Makes eating so much faster and quicker and Wild Wing Wednesdays for cheap wings.

I love the wings here and the burgers. We would go here on Wednesdays for the wing specials. lines could get really crazy long but honestly it’s worth it. And if you want a nice burger and some beers I recommended coming here on a weekday in the afternoon for some calm lunch with friends. On the weekends it gets hectic. cheers!

Came to kettle black a few nights ago with a few friends for some beer and food. The food deserves an amazing review. The wings, sliders, and onion rings deserve an amazing review. However we ended up cutting our night short and leaving unsatisfied due to the fact that the bouncers refused to close the door. We were sitting at our table freezing. We asked multiple times for them to close it and they said no. We asked the staff of the restaurant and they said that the bouncers/security wouldn’t let them close it. Their excuse was that they are under separate management. We wanted to stay there for a few more hours and have a few more beers but ended up leaving abruptly because it was getting to a point that we felt like we were sitting outside. Had they actually closed the door, they would have gained more business. We weren’t the only ones who were cold. It’s sad that the staff of this place is under separate management from the bouncers. Our waitress couldn’t do anything so a round a beers ended up being free. While that was a nice gesture, I still don’t think I would return knowing id freeze while trying to enjoy my night out.

The wings at this sports bar are very, very good. Cajun and The Old Bay Sauce are my favorite. The Garlic Parm are different. They taste like pasta in wing form. If you like different, then go for it! Wednesday is a great day to experiment since they have a wing special. I would say that the wings are full of flavor and fingerlickin good, i don’t mind going on an off day to avoid the crowds. The Nachos Grande, Quesadillas, and every other finger food is on point. The drinks are good and strong.

Went here for drinks after having brunch elsewhere on a Sunday. The atmosphere was loud and the vibe was great! We scored a table by the window right when we got there, even though it was so packed. We were too stuffed to try the infamous wings, but will def be back to try them!

I love Kettle Black! If you love wings, Wednesday nights are the day to go since the wings are 50% off. Any flavor that you get will be great! Add in the good prices on drinks and you can’t go wrong.

Used to be one of my favorite spots… could always kick back, relax & enjoy. This last visit was nothing like that… we were timed & asked to leave because it was busy… before we even finished our drinks & had just tipped our waiter 30%…after I complained they said we could stay another few minutes but I told em we’d go over to LoneStar where people are made to feel welcome.

unsure if the kettle is truly black, but the wings are like crack. okay maybe not crack but the wings are addictive and tasty. this is a large sports bar with casual eats and a well stocked bar. beer selection is awesome and booze selection like whiskey and beyond are stacked. the bar and restaurant goers are energetic, so the bar will be lively and loud especially during baseball, football season, etc. PROTIP: any major sporting event will mean this bar is packed. if you can handle that then you’ll be okay. if you hate sports or loud places, this is not your joint. the food? great for bar eats. the wings are tasty. i rec the Fitzpatricks. the chikn fingaz are addictive with glowing yellow honey mustard dip. fries are salty, crunchy, and alcohol-soaking. they wings are where they are at whether you order the Fitzpatricks, Buffalo City, Jack’s, Jamo’s, and they have like 5 – 6 other varieties as well. there are various meal deals during the week like $.60 wild wings wednesdays. check out the website. the staff. friendly and fast. the bar does get swarmed but the bartenders handle the pressure without dropping a bead of sweat. the waitstaff are friendly and helpful even when the tales are swarmed. never had an issue that the staff wasn’t willing to resolve like altering an order etc. the only con really can be the crowds on game days and on primetime nights. however Kettle Black is an longtime institution in Bay Ridge, so deal. drops mic bc these wings be spicy and sticky. i out. zzz.

Despite the wait… I think I found my favorite wing spot in the neighborhood! I went to KB on a Friday night around 7pm. My friend and I waited for about 30 minutes for a table. I was getting so hungry as I watched so many platters of wings go by. It’s an awesome place to watch sports because they have plenty of TV’s. Their menu offered so many sauce options. Not the usual plain Buffalo wings. My friend and I shared 18 wings, that came with 3 sauces options. We had the Jack, Luau and Ragin’ Cajun. My favorite among those were the Luau because it was sweet and tangy. Their wings have a nice crunch to it and are also well seasoned. They have a wide variety of beers, but didn’t have Blue Moon(just an FYI). Skip the potato skins! Extra empty carbs that we regret getting. Should’ve gotten fries instead. I’ll definitely be coming back more often!

I’ve been told to come here for a while to have their wings. So finally after a month of hearing about this place I went last night and I must say their wings are delectable. I’m a huge Buffalo wings fan, but I didn’t go with the regular flavor of buffalo last night. We went with the Hawaiian wings and the jack wings. The jack wings were more enjoyable to me because I’m not a huge fan of pineapples which are in the glaze of the Hawaiian wings but they were good as well. Not to mention the Unilocal check in offer for the beer makes it even better!

This place is awesome! Great vibe, great drinks and great food! Service is okay though and that is why I won’t give it 5 stars. Their margaritas are excellent. Wings are excellent. If you like spicy food the bacon buffalo mac and cheese is a must! Backyard BBQ sliders are also great! Really cool place to hang and grab some drinks and a bite with your friends. Gets busy though so sometimes you may have to wait for a table!

I went to this place after reading the CNN article about best wings in America and unfortunately they fell short of that. They were okay wings, maybe even pretty good but after all of the hype, I felt like they only deserved 3 stars. The overall setting is your average sports bar with a friendly feel. The wait was like 30 minutes because this place does get pretty packed on any good game day. I may have even given it a half more of a star if it was closer to where I live and the anticipation of the«best» wings.

Love this spot! I live in Queens but have friends in the area and when we meet up to grab a bite/have a few drinks this is one of our go-to places. Awesome wings! Great burgers and sandwiches too… friendly service. Last time we were there we sat at the bar and Nicole and Matt took care of us — really attentive, funny and just really sweet. Definitely worth checking out. Gets busy so get here early if you’re looking for a seat at the bar

Always a pretty fun night, sometimes I noticed they don’t charge me for what I feel like it should cost so that’s a nice perk. It’s a relaxed neighborhood bar but the only downside is because it’s a very local bar everyone there often grew up here and knows each other. It can feel a little cliquey compared to your average place.

2nd time asking for ranch dressing and they are putting Blue cheese. And I am allergic to blue cheese. I called to Kattle Black and told them that they did a mistake. The Guy didn’t even apologize just told me that we haven’t ask. Will never go back again. Worst service

Kettle black is one of my favorite places in bay. I love coming here for the wings. On Monday they have 60cents boneless wings and on Wednesday its traditional wings 60cents. My top two favorite sauces for the wings are jack first. Jack isn’t spicy and it’s really sweet and kinda has a smokey taste too it. Jamo is sweet but it has a very tangy taste to it but it’s really good. I also love their fries with cheese and their jalapeño poppers as sides for the wings. I recently tried the potato skins and they where good. In the potato skins there is bacon and cheese and it comes with sour cream to put on it. Sometimes there can be a wait but it goes quick and it’s totally worth it!

Came here a few times and even ordered in. There food is good– handcut fries are awesome and buffalo chix sandwich is also good. Prices aren’t insanely cheap but I guess you gotta pay for good stuff. Beer always seem pretty fresh and service isn’t too shabby either. The only downfall is that this place gets very busy very quickly. Suggestion? Come early and snag a seat especially on the weekends.

Guys, go get wings from them right now! They have the best wings you’ll eat in the area. I’ve also participated in their $ 10 brunch. The servers do not dawdle on getting you your next drink so it’s a great deal. The options are fairly typical but taste great. I would personally go for the juevos rancheros. For a place for drinks, I would tend to stay away if you are over the age of 23. It’s a very young crowd.

A and I were in the area shopping and wanted to get some brunch so waited around until they opened up. The breakfast skillet was good but their wings were super dry, which was very surprising since they’re touted as best buffalo wings — maybe it was because they were leftover from the night before? We think that may be the case but it was very disappointing.

This place keeps me coming back. The staff is super friendly and always remembers me. Tommy and Mike are dolls and great bartenders. Mike recently got me to try some of the wings and fries and they were awesome. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and loaded fries with cheese and bacon. They were so good! The boys always remember what I drink I don’t even have to tell them when I get there.

The strongest drinks I’ve ever had!!! The service was great, the waitress didn’t miss a beat in making sure that our glasses were never empty, now THAT’S service! The place can get crowded on game nights, however, there’s still space for quiet diners. A pretty nice, cozy place. My girlfriend and I loved the experience. We’ll definitely be back again!

I’ve only been here for brunch, but it is delicious! The brunch menu is small but everything is so delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. They play great music and they are quick to refill mimosas! I need to go back for dinner because apparently they have the best wings in the U.S. according to a Food & Wine article on the wall :)
