So, I came with with Andy. You know, the guy who wrote the other review about this place. I wanted to give him time to write it because he hates when I get up on his *First to Review*s. Besides, I don’t love this place as much as he does. Don’t get me wrong, I like it. Yes, the people there are very nice. Yes, they gave us their chairs so we could all sit. Yes, we were buzzed in, our favorite way by far to be let into a bar. And yes, it was cheap. And it had these old-ass booths. And there’s no sign. All good things. But now that I’ve had a decent tour of the neighborhood bars in Bed-Stuy(Sweet Revenge you don’t count), Crown Heights, and surrounding areas, I know for sure this place isn’t my favorite. First of all, it’s bright as shit in there. Made me all squinty. Second, it smelled like old fish in there. Tip Top’s still my favorite.
