Awesome neighborhood bar. I come here between one and three times a week. Great beer selection, cocktails are good, and their paninis are pretty great too. Plus complimentary fresh baked cookies every night at midnight. Brian the bartender is the man.

Great beer. Simple but very tasty menu. An oasis in an area that needs more amenities. The Cuban sandwich is just great. Get in here and prop up this pioneer business.

If you are looking for a great beer selection and some A+ noshing, look no further. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a date spot, but it is great for groups(something I think can be hard to find in the city at times.) Friendly staff and a nice ambiance, somewhere you can kick back and take a load off while enjoying a nice brewsky(or cocktail-whatever floats your boat.)

Best beers and nice company. Giant soft pretzel is the best. Glad to have this cool bar around my neighbors. Cheers!!!

This place is my favorite neighborhood bar. I would patronize more often, if my cash flow would permit it. Fresh cookies at midnight, a fantastic and ever changing beer list, bourbon of all persuasions. The owners are attentive, sweet and want to make sure you get what your like.

Take a ride on the brown line. With the presence of new groups of people(including myself) comming into this section of Brooklyn, it would only be a matter of time before craft beer places started to sprout up. I will say that I as happy to find out that this place exists a few blocks from my apartment. *It is always nice to have a couple of watering holes in your area. The draft selection is wonderful and the pressed sandwiches are huge/well priced.

This place is pretty dope. This neighborhood needed it! The aesthetics are calming; natural wood, great natural light during the daytime, and they play awesome music. First time I finally decided to check the Wilky out, I walked in and they had Bob Marley playing on the speakers… Boom… they had me right there(being that I’m Jamaican). I don’t know much about beer, but I told Seth, the bartender what I was in the mood for, and he nailed it. Now the pretzel !!! Omg the PRETZEL!!! Its HUGE and delicious. A decision you will never regret. Beer and cocktail selection are awesome. Overall I see this place suceeding and being around for a while. Easily become a local favorite. I would love to see another veggie sandwich option, and some sweet potato fries added to the menu down the line… Then you guys would break the star rating tool at an EPIC6 star rating! Good job guys, keep it up.

The Wilky has quickly become a go-to spot in Bed-Stuy. Not only do they have an array of beers, they also have some pretty bangin’ food too! #noBSfood

Cute seating, not so ideal when you gotta get cozy with the other people you share the table with– but to be honest, it wasn’t so bad! Plenty of bar seating. Two tables on each side of the place. A lot of choices! My friends tried the coffee nitro and really liked it. I got the hard cider and it was nice and refreshing! Bartenders nice and prompt. :)

This is a really cool eclectic craft bar off the J train about 8 stops up in Brooklyn with all the finest on tap. They have great local and regional sought after beers on tap and a really good cocktail in the bed sty brooklyn it’s rye, amaro and thai chili bitters don’t forget that. The clientele are from all over the direct neighborhood from someone who’s been at craft bars all over the country this year it’s nice to settle in and have good craft beers from around the area. The sandwiches here are incredible get yourself into one!

It’s around the corner from my house, 4 stars right there. Nice beer selection, great bartenders. Haven’t tried the cocktails… Yet. I don’t eat anything they offer so I can’t comment on the food… But if they want to expand their menu options to include something without animals on it, I’m ready.(Need some suggestions?) I may not have my own bar stool yet but it’s getting there.

Great new place that is definitely worth trying out. One of my buddies from beer club recommended that we bring the group here so I set it up. Brian was super easy to work with to get things set up so about 25 of us descended upon the place on a windy Monday night and had a great time. I knew I would like the place when I heard them playing«Glamorous Life» because any bar that plays Sheila E. has to be awesome. Beer list is terrific. I was lucky enough to get the last of one of my favorite sours. There were plenty of beers to try and everyone found something they liked. Service was very friendly and fast. Even though the place was fairly crowded, you didn’t have to wait long for a beer. Food offerings are a bit limited but I had a giant pretzel and that was more than filling and a lot of my mates had sandwiches which they all liked. The prices are in line with other places in Brooklyn but check out their website to get a deal on your first beer. I will admit that it took me awhile to get there from my job in LIC but getting home is easy and it’s a quick walk to the subway(maybe 5 – 10 minutes) and you’re on the J train in no time. Definitely worth a return trip for great beer, friendly service, great music and fun atmosphere.

I will start off by saying that I am very sad. I am very sad because I have been in the neighborhood for almost 2 years and this place decides to show up now! Where were you when I needed you! All seriousness, this place is great. It is welcoming and filled with good people who like to have good conversation. I spent a hood 45 minutes the last time I was there debating on the legacy of Larry Bird vs LeBron. Things got heated haha. If I am to be honest though, the beer variety could be a little bit more unique. They have a couple solid brews but a lot more of what everyone else has. I’m sure as the place grows it’s legs a bit they will probably introduce more. I tried the coffee milk stout which was childhood in an adult glass and I had the conversion which was super suprising and one of my new favorites. I’m a sucker for weird flavor profiles. I haven’t had many of their food items but that pretzel… that… pretzel… oh boy… 1st class right there. As long as I am in the area, I will continue to go here. It’s a great spot with a great vibe and some very nice owners.

Great to have a craft beer bar in this corner of Bed Stuy, which also happens to be right down the block from my apt. Very reasonable pricing on the draught selection that’s actually pretty deep, given the location’s size. Staff shows ample knowledge, as I was able to throw out a flavor profile that I was looking for and was recommended a chocolate stout that hit it right on the head. Standard cocktail list, mainly modified classics, nothing super complex or interesting, but solid nonetheless. Not too many spirits available(maybe they will add more as business grows?) so don’t ask for any Japanese cocktails or Negronis… I’m pretty sure they have enough to accommodate the basics though. They have a cook pressing paninis in the corner — my friend ordered the vegetarian option(something with pickles and cream cheese) and was pleasantly surprised. Have yet to try the giant pretzels, but they smell great when cooking and sell well. The best move for this neighborhood spot is the«midnight snack»: freshly baked chocolate chip cookies distributed to all patrons at 12:00AM on the dot. Such a cozy touch. Great for last stops, calm encounters, and solo expeditions. Go for a beer or basic cocktail and a snack. Vinyl music here and there, too. Good vibe that mixes a local and gentrified crowd.

This is the kind of bar you want in your life; long time residents mingling with new time residents, people laughing, new friends, good music, great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgable bartenders, a great beer and whiskey selection, a tasty menu and they serve every drink with a tall frosty glass of water(so you can always get home safe & sound). Note, they close at 2 and they never get too crazy, they’re just busy being the bar you’re already looking for; the kind of bar where you want to buy the whole joint a round!

The Wilky is a hidden gem! The bar has got an old tavern feel to it. I stopped by here on a Friday night. They have 15+ beers on tap and 4 unique cocktails. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who has a love for beer and enjoys a fun conversation with bartenders. I met the owner and he’s an awesome dude. I will most certainly come back, no doubt about that.

the Wilky has JUSTTHERIGHTVIBE. Great beer list, «softer than any soft pretzel should be» soft pretzel, and almost too big sandwiches. Most importantly, the vibe was just right. Not pretentious, service was warm but not casual. The space was a relic of old Brooklyn charm. Original tin ceilings are pretty common in BK but this place kept every bit of original tin including the walls — some areas are painted and others scraped to reveal many layers of decades of paint — which is a unique look into yesteryear. The beer list is constantly rotating around 15 taps — great selection. Four cocktails(recommend the Bed-Stuy), four sandwiches and two snacks round out the menu which will hopefully expand over time. Some fancy fried options would be a welcome addition to this(or any) beer bar.

This area is beer starved. I had a gut feeling to check new business in Unilocal, and I found this place. Since they had a coffee porter, which is hard to find, I walked as fast as I could here;) Immediately was greeted by friendly bartender and bar back. Italian sandwich and it’s pickle were both yummy. And the beer… yummier! Oh and I love that they have the menu on the chalkboard as well as a handheld menu. That’s awesome cuz not everyone’s vision is the same! The atmosphere is a normal dimly lit bar, but I like the candle holders. And they play soft music on vinyl, which gives it a classy feel. Definitely a great addition to the zzzzzzzzz neighborhood!
