The customer service is horrible and so are their baked goods. Do not waste your money there are better places

Ice cream custard is so special and good, I drive out of my way to pick some up. Only available seasonally.

Their cornmeal porridge was light and semi sweet. Perfect for someone who doesn’t like overly sweet porridge. $ 2 for a large cup! They also have oatmeal porridge. Warm enough to eat right away. More watery than how I like it but it was still good!

Their coconut rolls and currant rolls(especially whole wheat currant rolls) are absolutely delicious. Their pholourie is pretty good too. Haven’t tried their ice creams or cakes yet but only because every time I go in I end up with one each of the rolls.

Absolutely disgusting smell in here today wonder what it could be? Any way only ever ate their bread which was good at the time but they obviously used an inferior whole wheat and this point not really too keen on the cost of it either as it really only is slightly better tasting than that of a store bought wonder bread look I am not going to lie this place definitely has a lot of potential but only in the right hands will they truly ever move forward and become an even greater success

Wanted some ice cream and wasn’t in the mood to make it and I got the best custard in Crowne Heights. Had me feeling like the Teletubbies when I was eating that custard up. Like Elizabeth B said the nutmeg hints of the Caribbean but to me it reminds me of my Grandmothers’ porridge and I will definitely enjoy that again.

The secret knockout item at Tota’s isn’t the West Indian Food or even the excellent carrot cake — it’s the seriously amazing homemade soft-serve ice cream. They call it Ice Cream but it’s soft-serve and«comes in one flavor — custard» — so I suspect it is technically a frozen custard. What transforms it is a heavy hit of clove and nutmeg that gives it a characteristically West Indian flavor that is sophisticated and unique and fantastic. The beef patty had a filling that I didn’t love — more of a dry-ish shredded beef filling than the finely minced filling that most places prefer and so do I.
