Gross!!! Seriously I live in Tx where the Chinese food is horrible and this was worse by leaps and bounds!!! I grew up in the Dc metro area or the DMV to the natives. Since I was back east I wanted some good east coast authentic Chinese food. This place crushed my dream lol. Really you would be better off buying frozen Chinese from the supermarket! The general Tso’s chicken(which I requested extra spicy) tasted like mushy orange chicken. The beef and vegetables was even worse. If you remember the texture of the mystery meat patty in school lunches imagine that but worse! The texture was nauseating and the taste. Well there was no taste. I wish I could give this place zero stars!!!

If you like vegetarian fare and an affordable meal for take-out, this place is quite solid. I’ve ordered from here at least 4 times. My favorites are mixed vegetables with garlic sauce and scallion pancakes. For the few meat dishes that I have had, they were greasy and were just OK(3 star food). Note, I haven’t tried all of them, but I advise you to stick with veggie fare. Note that the more you order, the more you get back :) They’ll throw in free soda, rice, dishes, etc. depending on how much you order. Check the menu for these deals. Most orders take 10 – 15 minutes so if you don’t call in ahead of time, it isn’t that long a wait. You can dine in, but it tends to be not heated or cooled very well and is more suited for take-out or delivery. Whatever you do order, you’ll be amazed what $ 20 gets you compared to most other restaurants in NYC.

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. Fast delivery, generous portions, tasty food. White meat available for chicken dishes. Their veggie dumplings are amazing. So glad to have this place near me!

You can get better cheap Chinese elsewhere(as in, 7 blocks away). Dishes have no real taste, and you can really taste the MSG. Veggie fried rice is fine, but the lo mein is undercooked and bland. Egg drop soup is weird here. Pizza rolls are good though! Like an egg roll, but with cheese and sauce inside — weird but awesome. Like adult drunk Totino’s pizza rolls.

I have never ordered anything other than the hot and sour soup, so I cannot speak to the deliciousness of 99% of the menu items. But the hot and sour soup is absolutely amazing. It’s seriously some of the best I’ve ever had(and super cheap. A large is $ 3.95!), and as a result I am totally addicted to it. At first I thought it was a craving and, later, I wondered when I would outgrow this particular food quirk. Months have passed and my desire shows no sign of abating. I work just down the street and come here at least once a week. I try to calculate if it’s been long enough to order again without seeming like a total crazy. It’s embarrassing. But looks like I’m in it for the duration.

there are a ton of chinese food deliveries places in my nabe, but my roommates and i have always ordered from this one. First because they come all the way up to my 5th floor walk up apartment and second because they have crab rangoon, which hardly any chinese restaurants in new york have, must be a midwest thing. the food is not that great but if you’re craving chinese it will do. i do recommend the crab rangoon though!
