This place does not disappoint and it, as of writing this review, is the best gelato I have ever had. They have a ton of unique flavors and of the ones we tried, they were amazing! Everyone that works there is very accommodating and super friendly. This is a must do if you are visiting Brooklyn. I heard that it can get a large line during the summer time so be sure to check. We visited while it was raining and went straight to the counter.

Went here with my bf for a quick snack. Cheap, delicious and the guy that served us was soooo nice!

Nice, cozy place. The Italian ice is good and cheap. There is also coffee and donuts. Buy any coffee, hot or iced and get a free donut. The Boston Cream is oh so delicious. Coffee starts at $ 1. The chocolate chip cookies are lip smacking good.

What a wonderful treat on a hot, and I mean hot, summer night. I ordered the mint chocolate chip ice cream and my friend the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. It was fantastic. Creamy and bursting with flavor. $ 2.50 each for a regular size wasn’t bad, it satisfied and I wasn’t wishing for more, it was just right. I was given a «Buy 10, get one free» card when I left, and I know that I will use up that card in probably 2 weeks.

This location is one of the larger Uncle Louie G’s I’ve been to as they have a small interior with a number of small tables and chairs and cases where you can see most of their 30 or so flavors of ice cream and 30 or so flavors of Italian ice. Portions are ok, prices are reasonable(about $ 4 for a small single scoop in a cup). Their own brand of ice creams and ices are really not bad at all. If you’re in the Sunset Park area and haven’t been before it’s definitely worth stopping by, especially on a hot summer day.

Q: What’s Red, White, & Blue, with stripes and more than 50 flavors? A: It’s Uncle Louie G! 1. Italian Ice — Taste like any good old Italian Ice but you won’t find flavors like Cremolata or Pina Colada too often, starts at $ 2. 2. Ice Cream — Smooth, creamy, and not too sweet, starts at $ 3. The winner is definitely their Italian Ices.
