I’m so sad this location has closed. Great atmosphere to work, read, study, or meet a friend, open late and very friendly service. I hope that they are able to reopen.

Clearly overpriced and overrated. $ 3 for a mini pastries(you would need 3 of them to get a proper dessert). Service was super rude. And the pastries were just not good. Not awful but clearly not good. Candle was overcooked and not tasteful, cookie was just random. Skip the hype and get better desserts in the shops around!

Overrated. My gelato had freezer burn. Woman was super rude when I informed her and rudely asked what I wanted her to do about it. Didn’t offer another item or my money back. Pathetic service.

Yummy looking macaroons but a rude dude behind the counter completely killed the vibe. Zero customer service, as others have mentioned as well. This place will die out if they don’t get their act together. Skip this one and check out other shops in the area where you’re actually welcome.

This place really was great! The damage: two macaroons and a canele. The canele was really good with a soft inside and slightly crisp exterior. My first macaroon was the white chocolate cherry. The actual cookie part tasted just like cherries but not artificial cherries. The cream filling had the slightest white chocolate taste without being too sweet. My favorite macaroon was the peanut butter one which tasted exactly like peanut butter. I can’t wait to try some of their other goodies!

Oh noooo I found the Woops! Bake shop in Brooklyn. I always seem to run into this shop whether it’s at the original upper east side location or in gramercy area. I have tried most of the goods and they really don’t make anything that won’t satisfy a sweet tooth. The macarons are the feature but I actually enjoyed the savory rugelach(jalapeño yes!). They use Nutella in the best way. They have alfajors if you’re into that. It’s ruining my figure in a good way. Woops! indeed.

As a Williamsburg resident I have been sorely disappointed in most of the drip coffee I have found, but Whoops is the best by far and it’s just the cutest place! Additionally the croissants at Whoops are amazinggggg. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to one.

Bakeshop catches your eye the moment you see it. I love it when they open the windows on a sunny day and let the natural light spill into the café. The tiled tables are my favorite and each table is different from the next. Every time I go to Bakeshop, they have fresh flowers on each table and amazing macarons and pastries. I think their attention to detail really makes a difference, from the tables, to the minimal décor, fresh flowers, menu on the wall, little bike clock near the windows, etc. I’ve stopped by multiple times in the past year the moment I get of the L train, and the coffee has never disappointed. They also have a great apple cider here, great for days you’re not needing a caffeine fix. My boyfriend especially likes the chai latte. Bakeshop also takes CUPS and I’ve used it every time I visited. And probably explains why I didn’t know about the $ 5 credit card minimum until I saw the reviews. Use the code 18RS4 for $ 10 off your first coffee plan, which is accepted at Bakeshop, and over 180 cafes in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

— $ 5 credit card minimum — $ 15 for 6 macarons — AMAZING macarons: I’m not really into macarons in general(except rose from Laduree), but I ate 4 in a minute and had to stop myself. I got: chocolate chip mint, rose, green tea, chocolate lavender, nutella, and caramel fleur de sel(Hint: GETTHEM) — White minimalist décor, best for instagramming — They also sell sandwiches, croissants, gelato, tea and coffee — HOTAPPLECIDER

This place is great. I happened to be in Williamsburg when I came across this adorable French Bakery. I was so full from lunch, so I didn’t order any of their sweets(which looked delicious, btw), but did order a mint organic tea. The tea was very good, but I still would love to go back and try one of their baked goods. I’m glad I had cash on me(which I rarely do), because they have a $ 5 credit card minimum. The service was friendly and helpful. Most importantly, they had free wifi, so I was able to stay a lot longer. I think the atmosphere of this place really won me over. It’s adorable and clean feel with cute French inspired table and chairs with flower vases. It wasn’t overwhelmingly busy either, so I was able to sit down, relax, and sip on my tea.

Good space for pastries. The macaroons are also divine. Try the chocolate banana nut muffins. It’s pretty much sugar crack.

Let’s just say… coming here was one of the best decisions my best friend and I had made when we were out and about! We stumbled upon this adorable little store front and in we went! Much to our surprise, we were greeted by the sweetest woman behind the counter with a huge smile on her face. She was sweet and clear and patient when I bombarded her with questions like«Ooo what’s this one, what’s in this one, does this one have eggs…» You can imagine anyone else would have kicked my butt outa there! Nope. this woman was patient with me and answered all of my questions! The seating area is limited but we were lucky enough to get the cutest seats with the best props surrounding us to give us a «sweet» experience to remember! We each for 2 – 3 pieces which of course we shared, as usual! I would definitely recommend this sweet shop to anyone with a sweet tooth! Enjoy your woops!!!

Amazing iced coffee! The sandwiches and the multigrain almond croissant are great as well. The atmosphere is what I love most about this coffee shop and sets it apart from most. The tables are so adorable and it never gets overwhelmingly busy so I usually find a seat in there. The only thing that I dislike is that a lot of people take pictures in here like insane people — when you’re just trying to chill and drink your coffee. Once when I was in here, this guy with a professional camera started taking pictures of everyone without asking. I’m not sure if he worked for the shop or not since he disappeared into the back for a bit. It just felt slightly invasive.

This place is super cute! Stumbled on this gem while heading to Smorgasburg with a girlfriend. The whiteness of the entrance caught our attention and so we decided to check reviews on Unilocal. We were actually saving our appetite for the food stands, but after stepping foot into this place, we had to get a pastry… you know, for an Instagram photo. :o) The décor inside this café was minimal, but I felt cozy and comfortable. I ordered their red velvet cookie cake and my friend got the waffles. The red velvet was amazingly good. It wasn’t too sweet and had just the right amount of sugar. Good price, cute atmosphere. Yes, I would definitely go back!

On a rainy Williamsburg afternoon, I stopped into this establishment and immediately found a table to place my bag. Upon setting my bag down and removing my headphones, the clerk rudely snapped, «excuse me. EXCUSEME. sir…what can we help you find?» His unwelcoming, brash tone made it clear that he assumed I was using the establishment as refuge from the rain – but, I wasn’t. I planned to have a latte and try the top rated Coffee shop in the area. However, this rude gesture sent me back into the rain. I hate to give a 1-star review even though I did not try the coffee or baked goods but, this experience won your competitor some new business.

Place is solid for coffee(hot or iced) and a cute atmosphere. It’s not a bad place to sit in the morning or early afternoon and get some work done; they actually recently expanded it so it’s twice the size. The décor is very charming and the people who work there are typically friendly. The best part, however, is the macaron selection. They have Woops macarons and they are always awesome! Amazing flavors like hibiscus and Poppy’s and lavender and pistachio and the most gorgeous colors. I often come in and get these as gifts and(they have nice boxes). All in all, a great addition to the neighborhood.

Hehe, woops! I headed out of the train station towards the Music Hall of Williamsburg and the most heavenly bakery smell stopped me in my tracks. Does anyone remember how those old Mickey Mouse cartoons had delicious smells represented by white wisps of smoke with a hand that made the come hither gesture? No? Anyway, it was like that. Come in, these smells told me. There were so many colorful macarons here! I asked for a recommendation and happily ordered a nutella macaron. I also bought a chocolate chip walnut cookie that reminded me of the monstrous cookies from Levain. The macaron was delightful, but the cookie was just okay for me. It didn’t have the gooey cookie batter consistency on the inside that I’ve come to love about the Levain cookies, and there weren’t nearly enough walnuts in it. The interior was cutely decorated, and I can see how it’d be a great place for a quick snack or catch-up. Note: $ 5 card minimum Likelihood of another visit: I think I’d like to try another cookie next time. I like second chances.

I’m always exciting from the L train Bedford stop and one day I smelled something,…something I know all too well… it was… BUTTER! Butter is right up there for reasons I will never be vegan. It’s absolutely delicious. The Bakeshop by Woops are wizards to keep the door opens whenever possible. You just follow your nose to some of Williamsburg’s tastiest sweetest morsels available . I have been here a ton of times and have been fortunate to try the variety. The cookies here are delicious, thick and huge. I especially enjoyed the chocolate walnut cookie. I also had a Nutella rugelach here and it was so decadent. And I couldn’t help but try the Valentine’s Day macarons. They were not only beautiful with love writing on them but the flavors were simple and shined. My favorite was the almond macaron, the crispy crust and smooth inside. And I love that they also have caneles. Caneles are one of my all time favorite desserts. They are a French pastries made in the copper molds and are reminiscent of a custard. And the Bakeshop didn’t let me down for my craving. The shop itself is also very adorable. The outside has been remodeled with white wood panels and the inside has beautiful small tile and little tables and the front has a counter covered in beautiful pastries and below the counter is a variety of macarons but I recommend keeping your options open and coming here for all the treats. Or maybe come with a bunch of friends and everyone can share treats and have tasting party. Yum!

Cute little bakery shop next to the train station, hard to miss. It’s a very attractive place that’s reminiscent of a West Village bakery or something similar. We stopped by late one night after dinner for a coffee and dessert. We ordered the chai latte, white chocolate pecan coconut cookie, and a lemon macaroon. Price is high, it was a $ 4 cookie, total order came out to be $ 12. Chai latte was one of the best the gf ever had, she absolutely loved it. The cookie called out to me because I love pecans and coconut and thought the flavors would mix well. Sadly, this was not to be. The cookie’s chocolate overpowered everything else and there was no flavor of coconut or pecan. Safe to say, I’ll stick to the Oatmeal Raisin if I ever come back here.
