Unfortunately, I think they’ve closed. They forwarded their phone calls to Ming Hing, another chinese take out/delivery spot 2 streets away. Sad :(

This place is the best Chinese hands down. Always good and always legit. I usually get steamed shrimp dumplings. They are really really good. Good egg rolls and everything else. Do not get anything else in the neighborhood lol. The best!

I’ve been to Xiang Garden several times with a friend who lives a couple blocks away. After having a not-so-great experience at another Chinese restaurant in the area, he was glad to find the food here was good. I’ve had a few basic Chinese dishes here, and once had the chicken Rama garden from the«Thai» portion of the menu. It was just ok. Let’s just say I prefer the peanut sauce I’ve made at home, and I am neither 1) a good cook or 2) Asian. I was glad it had lots of vegetables, however. I’ve also tried the Singapore curry noodles, and they are pretty good, but while they’re my friend’s staple dish here, I wouldn’t necessarily always jump to that option here. I’ve eaten in here a bunch(due to said friend’s lack of a real kitchen table to eat at) and while it really looks kinda dingy inside, the tables are clean, and more importantly, the staff are friendly and efficient. It would really benefit from a full-out scrub-down and perhaps some fresh paint, though. I think for the area, it’s a nice option to have, and with so many Chinese takeout places appearing to offer the same choices, it’s nice to have a restaurant where you know the employees have a friendly disposition.

Best Chinese food in the area. it was my daily food source when i lived in Brooklyn. The owner couple is so nice and generous. The food is fresh and tasty. 3 main dishes i ate usually are beef broccoli, spicy stir fired vermicelli with chicken, yan zhou fried rice.

This is my local Chinese take out place and I really like there food. I WOULD not order Thai food at a Chinese take out joint :). The food is not greasy and it taste fresh.

i used to come here all the time. the food is not bad and the people are nice here. most much to say about the food except that its not bad since most Chinese fast food restaurants serve about the same foods. Ask for recommendations for their specialties if you want to try something new.

Sadly enough, the outer boros still suffer the effects of second-rate take-out menus. This place is no exception. It’s listed as Thai, but upon entering,(besides noticing that their exhaust fan is in a dire need of degreasing), you realize that it’s a Chinese take-out with a part of their menu devoted to Thai… and devoted is a strong term to use. I ordered the Chicken Red Curry and my companion ordered Pai Thai, which, is the safest thing to get. My Red Curry was more coconut than curry, and both dishes were lacking in flavor. A sad outcome when your palate is hankering for a spicy experience.
