Very good place to buy fruit right by Brighton Beach. I came here almost daily over the summer of 2011. I was training for the NYC Triathlon and needed me some good fruits before my daily swim. The fruit was always fresh and occasionally great deals would pop up. On separate occasions boxes of berries were only $ 1.50 – strawberries, raspberries, blackberries – sizes that in Manhattan are typically $ 4 – 5. The place is HUGE for a fruit joint, and the selection is legit. I look forward to hittin’ the beach next summer. But not before grabbin’ some fruit at Strawberry Field!
