Zora, who once taunted me all over Hyrule — on both my first and second quests — to find Zelda, has, like many aging icons of culture with entrepreneurial tendencies, moved to Park Slope, opened a café and engaged the arts through curatorial activity. Like the fireballs once lobbed at me, everything about the space is brilliant and well-targeted. Open, bright, clean, comfortable and more than ample in terms of room to maneuver, the expansive café and performance area are welcoming, much like the staff. While the art is not quite as aggressive as I’d expected based on our past encounters, it is abundant. And I hear it changes often. But like my days strolling through Hyrule, there are few other people to be seen around here. I imagine the situation is different in the evenings or during openings and performances. I attempted to set fire to the shrubs to see if any staircases led to old men with rupees hanging out down below, but it’s just me and the barista. Come on, It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this review and pay a visit yourself.

Zora Space is zen on so many levels: When I say not many people were here on a Sunday afternoon, I mean that one, only I was present and two, that is a very good thing when compared to other spots in the area. The space had a quiet appeal and charm of a quiet library or catacomb – a well-lit, work welcome space that I can see myself visiting often when I don’t feel like being a part of the buzz buzz hum of work and chatter most coffee shops have going on. While it’s located on 4th ave, the dull sound of cars whizzing by mingled nicely with the Beatles’ music playing lightly in the background had me at ease. And, did I mention that the friendly barista gently removed a hideous looking spider for me? I played the scenario out in my mind, and it could have gone very badly, but luckily, he saved the day!

This lovely space has a good selection of wine, great coffee and ample seating. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, a good place for working or meeting friends. The art changes often, and the guys behind the bar are the sweetest! The Marketa Irglova — Sara Sample concert here a few weeks ago was maybe the best I’ve seen in Brooklyn. Oh, also: free wifi, local pastries, beer…

Great new coffee/art space in the slope! It’s so much bigger than it looks from the outside, and there is a mix of performance space, art space, and café. Plus free wifi, great baristas, pastries from Colson, sandwiches, and a neat place to chill. It’s not often that busy unless there is a performance event going on, so it’s a great place to go during the day to hang out or work. You can almost always get a place to sit, either in the back by the performance area or the front by the windows. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Opens early at 7 so I can get a great cup of coffee on the way to work and they are having a 15% off sale right now! I agree with all other reviews — a really interesting and comfortable space, and I’m impressed with all of the concerts and other performances that are on offer.

My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for an open mic. I was pleasantly surprised by the setup of the place. It’s got a cofffee shop in one room, the next room had live music and the last room displayed pieces of art. I also had the chance to meet Zora. She’s such a sweet woman. It’s a place I would like to visit again with some friends.

We went to a concert(Craig Harris) there last week — it is really a lovely space — good acoustics, lovely art, and a great atmosphere. Zohreh is very welcoming. It’s an oasis on an industrial block.

I love Zora Space. Zohreh has done great things with the space and it is such a great addition to the neighborhood. There are lots of great performances(all free), art shows and of course great coffee and snacks. Great place to lounge around!

This is a fabulous, friendly and comfortable(yet very trendy with a great interior design) performance and art space with some of the most innovative artists in the nation appearing regularly. The food is great. Absolutely worth a trip from Manhattan – even when there is no performance, the art changes on a regular basis. Free Wi-Fi! The owners tell me they plan to make it a non-profit institution for the benefit both of artists and patrons. So, besides the great food, art and entertainment, there is a salutary reason for supporting them.

Great new Café in Park Slope, really close to JJ Byrne Park. Has really good coffee and what appears to be some tasty foodies. It’s a cool hybrid art space/café. Live music and always new artwork up on the walls. And David behind the counter is a The Man.
