Went recently, arrived at 6pm, and it was after 7:30 before anyone came to our table to cook. Spent over two hours there. The food was great, but the very long wait was disappointing.

Excellent food… The cook was entertaining. I would have liked my vegetables to have been served right after the rice, but that is just my preference. I’ll eat here again.

Have been wanting to try this for a long time. I was not disappointed. Excellent miso soup and salad. Had the tuna tar tar which was awesome. Great entertainment while watching our food being prepared.

If you’re looking for hibachi in town, this is really your only option. Wasabi(another Japanese restaurant next door) has rats and cockroaches. However, this is really mediocre at best. They cook with WAY too much oil, and half of the time they burn my noodles and overcook my filet. It’s not worth the money unless you go for lunch. Make the drive to Tampa and go to Kobe.

Always a good time. Dinner and entertainment all rolled into one. Pricing is a little high for this area but very comparable to most restaurants in Tampa. Would recommend.

Came with my family. Great personality & entertaining by the chef. The food had more to be desired for. The chicken is of poor quality or way overcooked. My 10 year old niece picked up on it, the rest of the table(that was not my family) noticed and left early. I can’t speak for the sushi, but if they can’t get the chicken right…

Easily the most popular hibachi in the area, and clear to see why. My expectations from where I lived prior-and the Hibachi in that area-were far surpassed with this place! The chef made us laugh, as they usually do, and his fleck of zucchini even made the crabby people across from us loosen up a bit! The food was on par with all others; after all, it’s fried rice, vegetables, and steak, how much different is it REALLY from other hibachi’s? I did enjoy that it wasn’t greasy, also, everyone ordered differently, and not one item was overcooked. From the steaks, to chicken, filets, and lobster, he timed it all perfectly. Definitely worth the big tip we gave him. All in all, great start to date night, definitely recommended to big groups as well! Loved the experience!

If I could give zero stars I would. The rudest hibachi chef I have ever encountered. Disrespected a man at our table by chucking egg shells at him because he let the chef know there was a HUGE piece of shell in the eggs. We got up and walked out. Soon the rest of the table followed. We are appalled at his behavior. We will NOT be back. The manager was speechless.

I have eaten at this establishment more than once and have yet to be disappointed, that is until tonight. The food has always been good and cooked to my liking. Only tonight, the food wasn’t the only problem. A few friends and I sat down at the hibachi table and were joined by another couple and an elderly man who asked if he could have a seat and simply just watch the hibachi show. We all agreed and let him stay at the table to watch and finish his drink. As time went on, the man started getting rowdy and cursing at the hibachi chef. But that wasn’t the worst of it. The sake squirt bottle they use was taken out of the chef’s hand by the man as he then proceeded to put his entire mouth on the opening of the bottle. He then squirted the bottle onto the food that was on the table while we all looked on in utter shock. Next, he started taking the noodles off the grill and throwing them around the other food that was being prepared. What turned me off was that nobody had come over to the table to put a stop to this absurd behavior. The man obviously had too may drinks and wasn’t in the right mind set. I had to get up out of my seat to tell someone to remove this him from our table and he kept returning. My entire meal was tarnished from this incident and I barely ate it. Thinking that the manager would be nice enough to complement it or remake it, nothing was done and I ended up paying full price for a horrible experience. As I left the restaurant I only got an apology. That is it. I can honestly say that they have lost my respect and business. I am extremely disappointed in the way the restaurant handled the situation.

We have eaten here several times and always enjoy it. The staff is friendly and the chefs really are personable and put on a good show. We typically share the combo of steak and seafood(note there is a $ 7 charge for sharing, but that covers double the rice, soup, salad, and appetizer shrimp). The steak is always cooked perfectly(medium rare) and the lobster is never over-cooked. It can be a little pricey if you have several drinks, but it is definitely a good value for the food you get. We never can finish the whole plate between two us. Definitely recommend for families or large groups.

I am rating this 4 stars based on the food only. Always enjoy the food and quality is very good. My issue is I always feel rushed. I eat slowish due to jaw issues and I can see the managers staring me down so I will leave the hibachi grill faster so they can sit new people. Well when I pay $ 30 for a meal I don’t appreciate being made uncomfortable and that I have to scarf down my meal. I only ever now sit at the tables so I won’t feel rushed.

Teppan yaki steakhouse in Brooksville(Hibachi is charcoal grill). I have been here twice and the teppan yaki(I had steak) was as good as anything in California. Second trip was for dinner and the tempura was tender and crispy. Perfect. Service was top notch as well. Very friendly and attentive. The only thing keeping my rating at 4 stars is the fact they use krab instead of real crab in the rolls. Step up to fresh crab and 5 stars it will be.

Food and show is always good. On the pricey side tho. Would rather go to Wasabi’s down the road, but this place always has room on the weekends with hardly any wait. Yum yum sauce soooooo good.

Went last night to try out Fujiyama. My daughter and I each got the«chicken and shrimp» from the hibachi and loved everything! The chef was fun and entertaining and we will definitely return!

Went here for our anniversary and it was a pleasant experience, they start you off with a miso soup with mushrooms in it then a salad with a sesame ginger dressing then you can choose what type of food you want or meat rather a bit pricy as we spent 60 for toe people and that was with a buy one get one 50% off but worth every penny the yum yum sauce is so good spicy like horseradish but soooo good! Make sure you bring a little cash to tip your chef

Been here a couple times for bdays n events and it’s pretty cool only bad thing is the Asian girl who takes ur orders she can barely speak English and gets mad and bitchy when you can’t understand her and she has to repeat herself… in which case u still won’t understand her lol other than that the food is great and the chefs are always funny and talented. Bar has cool lighting to and the food is just really good.

Wow this place sure went downhill fast. They were great when they opened; now it seems that they have new management and staff. Our hibachi chef was in a real hurry and our«show» took less than ten minutes as he practically flung the food onto our plates. Could not have been less enthusiastic either. I know doing the same thing ten times a night gets really old, but come on man, it’s your job, and putting on a smile is part of the show. Once we caught our food(ha), the meat wasn’t cooked how we ordered it. The noodles were drenched in sake, and the vegetables were as limp as a ragdoll. Also they’ve gotten more expensive since I was last there, which is saying something since they weren’t cheap the first time. I guess if you want Japanese in Spring Hill go to… Wasabi? That place isn’t great either but it’s a notch above this place and is cheaper. PROS: Décor is still nice? CONS: Too many to list. VERDICT: Just don’t go.

It was our first time eating at this particular restaurant. I didn’t realize it was a combination hibachi grill and sushi bar; however, we were in the mood for sushi so we opted for the latter. Pros: +Atmosphere +Drinks were refilled promptly(Sweet tea was very sweet, which I liked) +Menus were easy to read +Rolls were good, especially the Naruto and Iso roll. My wife had the Miso soup and she enjoyed it very much. +Our seating area was sectioned off from the hibachi area, but had viewing areas if you want to see the action. +Bathroom decoration was pretty… my wife and I loved the sinks. Cons: –Shumai appetizer(shrimp dumplings, dimsum style) tasted like it came from a frozen supermarket package. We were disappointed with it. –Sushi itself(I had the Tuna) was fresh, but it was very dry. –Both Male and Female bathrooms were dirty with toilet paper all over the floor. Wife also said there was no feminine receptacle in the Lady’s room. Overall: It wasn’t a bad experience. There were some pros and some cons to this restaurant. We will probably eat here again and try some different items. This restaurant is not at the top of our list, but it’s not at the bottom either. See the picture we’ve posted of our dinner.

Gotta say this rivals Arigato, Kobi, and the original Benihana. Everything was just wonderful. The usual before meal soup and salad was good. We also shared some rolls which were fresh and tasty. The hibachi grill was same old routine: some flashy knife tricks, the old onion volcano, flip some food into mouths, etc. The food off the grill was plentiful and delicious. I enjoyed the steak and shrimp, while the wife had the chicken, both were outstanding in flavor! After the meal we walked over to the bar where I enjoyed for the first time a Kirin Ichiban on TAP! That beer was followed by 2 more. I have always had ichiban in the bottle or those huge tall cans. This is the first time I have ever seen that katana tap handle. The bar is gorgeous and clean. More people should goto this bar just for drinks. We will be back alot. Next time we will belly up to the sushi bar!
