This place is NOT open until midnight like advertised on Unilocal.I was there at 11:34PM and the doors had uninviting security cable wrapped around them. I made eye contact through the glass door with an employee sitting at one of the tables and he looked at me as if he didn’t want me to inquire. Most uninviting. I went next-door to Taco Bell, and — guess what? — it was closed, too. Even though the employee at Taco Bell told me their lobby is open till midnight he was closing the doors at 11:40PM and would not let me in. What is with this town? Feels kinda soul-less.

Please don’t think all Del Tacos are this bad because the one in Brighton which is where I usually go is fantastic! Food is very fresh and services is great! But not so much for this location. It was really, really bad. The man at the counter had the personality of a rock. Ask me if it was for there or to go I replied we were eating there. He took my credit card, swiped it and walked away to help someone in drive thru? He never said thank you or gave me a receipt or order number. When the food was ready it was bagged to go! The tortillas were so dried out on our burritos they were actually crumbling! Husband ordered a fish taco also and the corn tortillas were cold and hard. EVERYTHING was horrible! I will never eat at this location again and if this is a franchise the owner needs to fire his manager and unfriendly employees and pray he can get some business back! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!

Fast, cheap, good. Full for $ 2 and some change. I know Taco Bell just opened down the row, but this is better food and value.

On my way home from Boulder… needed a place to eat food at 4:30am in the morning. Remembered that this place was open and I wasn’t feeling like any breakfast food. So glad that it was on my way back home to Broomfield. I ordered two of their Epic Burritos. One the Cali and One the Steak, Potato and Egg. The amount of time it took to order to receiving the food was fast! Usually when this happens, I think to myself that the food will be bad… but I was wrong. The burritos were very good! I might have to make it a habit to eat here more often now. But I know that I will have a place to eat late, late night/early morning now if I ever party late in Boulder.

The food great. The tacos are fantastic. Drive through can be hit or miss. Depends in who is working it at the time. Wish they had a Del Taco in Arvada. Would be awesome.

The sauces are all vegan, so there are tons of options for vegetarians with bean burritos and veggie burritos and the like. This is fast food. It isn’t gourmet Mexican. But if you are hungry and looking for a quick bite, it does the job.

It’s dirt cheap, but you get what you pay for. I stopped in for a quick lunch last week(at the drive thru) after a visit to the bank next door. I went with something safe: two grilled chicken tacos, fries(yes, French fries here…), and a Diet Pepsi. I think I dropped all of $ 5 here. I walked out with a cup of ice with maybe 1⁄3 cup of soda, halfway decent fries, and two tortillas stuffed with iceberg lettuce, Costco shredded cheese and a few sad pieces of slimy, dark meat chicken. Very sad. I had expected something between Taco Bell and Taco John’s. I got something BELOW Taco Bell quality.

I don’t care what you say. I love Del Taco. We all know that Del Taco(greater than sign) Taco Bell. My choice of unhealthy, cholesterol-ridden, high caloric foods: their fish tacos and their chicken tacos(soft), and churros. Service is a little slow here and I wouldn’t drop by the drive-thru unless I had ample time, but what I wouldn’t give for their tacos right now.

I can’t really say I had high hopes for Del Taco so that being said, it didn’t disappoint. Stopped here at 6am before rolling up north and was surprised that they make their food fresh right there. I had the breakfast quesadilla and it was pretty solid but then again, it’s Del Taco. If you’re going to dine inside be sure to wear sunglasses, their furniture is BRIGHT!

This place stinks! I used to come here 3 – 4 times a week. I won’t come here again. They need to change their staff! Very Rude!

I enjoy this over Taco Bell — the meat and overall flavor is higher quality. This location is in a Shell gas station, which makes it a little less appetizing, but certainly convenient. Overall, I can’t complain — I got a job because of this location when I ran into a former co– worker.

Del Taco impresses again, this time with breakfast. Not listed on their drive-up menu(or on their website until you pull up the«Nutrition» menu), the mixed-genre mexican/burger chain continues their«Macho» chain with the«Macho Bacon-And-Egg Burrito». Want a LOT of fluffy scrambled eggs and a decent amount of bacon all wrapped together and eatable(barely!) while driving? This is the place to go. No more McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches. And since Burger King and Carls Jr are out of the way, and sometimes you just don’t want a giant burrito with tons of stuff in like Jus Burritos and G’s Burrito Grill, and you just want lots of eggs and some bacon, this is the place to go. In and out in 3 minutes. TASTY eggs. If you’re not ravenous, this feast will be enough for lunch as well; if you are, you likely won’t want any lunch. Did I mention 1 lb of eggs and bacon wrapped up in a flour burrito runs around $ 3.50 with tax??? That’s a hell of a breakfast deal, given what McDonalds charges for their tasty but somewhat overpriced McSkillet burrito(note: when I mention tasty here, it’s in a fast-food get-it-and-go breakfast context, not a *quality* sit-down-and-eat breakfast). Yum yum. Clog those arteries, I’ll be back for more once a week or so… (You can also order anything on their menu at *any* time. A nice change from McDonald’s «it’s only 10am, you can’t get a burger yet» or «it’s 11am, you can’t get breakfast anymore» corporate mentality.) You want fries, a burger, tacos at 6am? You can get it, if you want it. KUDOS.

Don’t plan anything major the day that you plan to go to Del Taco. Within four to six hours of eating here, you will understand why that sixth grade science fair volcano experiment was trying to explain. I made the mistake of coming here right before heading up to Rocky Mountain National Park. This place is so tasty though and the breakfast burritos are so big, two people can share it. This particular location is connected to a gas station so if you need to fill up, why not go get something to clog your arteries. Everything is cheesy goodness and for some reason, this is one of those places where, although pretty greasy and disgusting, you just have to keep on going back for more.

If I ever have a heart attack, it will be because a quesadilla from this place killed me. I tend to stay away from fast food places. But usually after a day of shopping at Flatirons, Del Taco across the street(near Walmart) calls my stomach over. I don’t know where they get their cheese or chicken from, but it’s the best I’ve had from a fast food place. The cheddar-chicken quesadilla is my favorite. Greasy perfection. This location always seems to hook me up with enough cheddar to feed a small village, and packs it with tons of juicy chicken. I also like the bean and cheese bowl. Exactly how it sounds, and ask for some onions on top. Good value menu. You can get a half pound bean and cheese burrito for 99 cents. Ask to add green chile. But like Sherri S. said… stay away from the fish taco. Great service every time. Le fait hazard(French for Random fact): at a Del Taco in Lakewood earlier in 2008, a couple found a bag of pot in their bag. Bonus if you like grass, and bonus if you are in need of some fast cash(although in this case, they called the cops).

I don’t write many 1 star reviews and what I will say is after working in Superior/Boulder for 3 days this week, it’s slim pickins for fast, good food. I generally do not eat fast food. Period. That’s a capital P, small e, small r, small i, o, d. You get it. So, looking for something I can feel good about eating I choose the fish taco, and I have three words for this place: W T F

Is it wrong that I love Del Taco? In my husband’s words, «it’s the way Taco Bell used to be». I love their Tacos del carbon, bean burritos and quesadillas. Everything always seems fresh, and one doesn’t have to have my dog’s canines to chew through the meat. They also have hamburger/french fries options, but I have no use for those. Del Tacos used to be a rarety around here, but anymore they seem to be all over the place. I don’t mind a bit.
