This place has the best tasting phở in Denver. The best part about it is that they don’t use MSG! I would challenge you to find a phở restaurant anywhere else that doesn’t use it. Being extremely sensitive to MSG, it’s the only phở I can eat without getting a stomach ache. And although I go there primarily for their phở, the other dishes I’ve tried are also excellent! The restaurant is not fancy; they just serve great food with reasonable prices. The staff is very prompt and polite… they actually refill your water, unlike many of the other places. I love this place!

There are 4 Phở restaurants in this 1 block, but Phở Mai is the only one I go to anymore. Great food and service. The shrimp Phở bowl is my fav, but like the others as well. And I have made a meal out of the shrimp spring rolls alone. Love them!!!

The broth here is so good! I came in and ordered the phở which had all the different kinds of meats(phở #10). It was exactly what I had expected. But the thing that set it apart from the other phở I’ve had in the area was the great broth. The service was decent. I will be back.

I was a bit grossed out after observing my server dedicate at least a whole minute to blowing his nose and then bringing my food without washing his hands in between. it makes me wonder what goes on outside plain view.

I have plenty of places to choose from when it comes to Phở and I’m a creature of habit when it comes to Phở. I finally decided to drop in and give them a try and I was mildly surprised. They have a pretty good menu with plenty of variety so that’s always a plus. They are a bit pricier than others around the area but still reasonable. We’ve been here twice over the past couple weeks now and service is good. The food came out a bit slower than I’m used to with other Phở restaurants but then again they seemed busy both time we were there. Water was always refilled promptly though. Food is pretty good. I tried a few different dishes and they were all tasty. But Phở will always be my measuring stick and with that Phở Mai does pretty well. The broth has been on point each time and is not overly salty as some others. It lacks in the amount of meat you get in comparison to the others but the broth is one of the best in my opinion. As mentioned, they do have a varied menu so you have plenty of choices if you don’t enjoy Phở. Try them out for yourself but we will be going back.

I’ve sampled a lot of the Vietnamese restaurants and Phở Mai is definitely a top contender. Best vermicelli bowls in colorado! Great service, great good, great prices and HUGE portions. I would highly recommend the grilled pork and shrimp spring bowls.

I’ve tried numerous phở restaurants on the front range and Phở Mai is my favorite. Their phở broth is what sets them apart. It’s not too sweet and has the right amount of saltiness. It’s a great place to escape from work for lunch or to take the family when you don’t want to cook. The staff is always friendly and the service is fast. It’s a great local business.

the second place that now has told me they have no vinegar for my onions… whats crazy is you ask someone else and they yeah they have some and get you some… I’m all for keeping it authentic but if you don’t understand don’t lie to my face! broth was fair but some how the meat was bland and didn’t even really taste like meat either. the spring rolls had 1 shrimp cut in half and put on each end like book ends for noodles and lettuce so a majority of my spring roll was shrimpless… I ordered a large and the lady got a small and we both get the rare steak on the side, well her small came with 5 pieces and my large had 6 pieces so that was upsetting as well. This was my second visit for a second strike… I’m walking away from the plate early on this one had tv’s but nothing on

Went in for the first time couple weeks ago and have been in twice since then. Love the phở, it is full of flavor and hits the spot every time.

Great place to eat phở! The staff there is very friendly and will patiently wait on you. The only thing is that sometimes when we go there, there’s no music and it can get a little awkward. They have tvs there but it’s barely ever on. Other then that, a must try place if you like phở.

The restaurant is clean, the food was good, service fast. However the prices are more than at golden bowl across the street and the service is a little less friendly. Not my favorite phở place but not disappointing.

Phở Mai, has the best Vietnamese food in Broomfield, not just phở. Although their phở broth is a great and has a great developed flavor. phở Mai stand out from all others near by vietnamese restaurants, for a couple reasons, besides the great food! They deliver, there are pictures of what the different dishes look like, stay open late, and they server alcohol.

My wife & I really enjoyed the food. All of it was delicious. But the best of our experience was the service. Steven & Angelina, our servers, we’re very friendly & helpful. The bathrooms were neat & clean. One of our favorites. We’ll be back, often.

Phở Mai is the best Vietnamese restaurant’s in the Metro Area. The service is excellent, all the vegetables are fresh, purchased every day locally. We went to this restaurant when it was called«Phở 120» and worried when it changed owners. By far the owners of Phở Mai go the extra mile and the food is so much better than former owners. They have many vegetarian dishes including spring rolls with stir fried Tofu wrapped in rice paper. Spring Rolls are NOT fried like so many restaurants. Of course there are many dishes with chicken, beef and pork w/noodles, rice, etc. Tonight we got there at about 8:45PM and Steve, one of the owners greeted us with a smile and the food served to us was delish. Try it, you couldn’t possibly regret it. For those of you that are somewhat health conscious they use ckn. broth, NOT beef!

I tried this place with my girlfriend when we had a discount coupon. I’m glad we got the food at a discount price because it was not worth it. This restaurant used to be Phở 120, but has been remodeled and renamed. I really like the inside of the restaurant and the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The food however was not all that great. I ordered the combination rice plate. It came out pretty well presented. As soon as I took a bite, there was really no flavor. I am Vietnamese, so I know what it is supposed to taste like. The meat was lacking flavor as well as the fish sauce that came with the lunch. My girlfriend got the phở and that too lacked flavor, she also is Vietnamese, so we were not impressed. If you are in the area, Phở Duy across the street is much better in food quality and taste. Sometimes there, the service might be lacking, but worth the food. I don’t recommend Phở Mai as there are much better options for you to choose from.

Is it wrong that I have a food baby from mediocre phở? Honestly, the soup and noodles were fine but the meat was incredibly blah. I got the flank and steak and it tasted old and flavorless. The Thai tea was good, I just didn’t care for it being served in a giant goblet, filled to the brim with ice and a glob of whipped cream on top. Service-wise, it was very good and nice decorations. I do like how they have a bigger menu selection compared to other phở restaurants(non-phở and bun dishes).

I used to eat here 2 – 3 times a week — most of the staff knew my voice on the phone when I called to order take-out ! The main reason I haven’t been back recently is because I lost my phở/bahn xeo buddy :( Trying to eat an entire bahn xeo on your own is quite the feat — especially when you have a piping hot bowl of phở next to you. I haven’t found a bahn xeo in Denver/Boulder that I like more than here at Phở Mai. A few times it has been too oily and makes me a little ill after wards but goddamn is it worth it. I love that they serve it with rice paper instead of trying to cram it in a piece of lettuce like at some other restaurants. LOVE fish sauce, just don’t want to smell like it for the next 72 hours. Also they always have fresh herbs to go with the pancake which makes such a huge difference. I like their broth as well — the portions are large and the basil/bean sprouts are always fresh. Yummy spring rolls, try the shrimp and pork combo. Oh god, and their noodle bowl is great, too!
