Shoot Indoors

I love this range. The staff is always helpful and encouraging and willing to show you a tip or two. The prices are fair and I definitely enjoy the bonus of Ladies Day Thursday. It’s fantastic to see so many women shooting. I am especially impressed with Levi who switched out the stock sights for night sights on my S&W Shied in just a few minutes. I definitely recommend this place for beginners and those who are always working to keep their skills sharp.

I’ve been coming to the range for about a year and recently signed up for the early bird card. I’ve been here quite a bit. Out of curiousity, I read the «one-​star» reviews. I wonder what range they’re talking about; certainly not this one.
If you’re a woman, this is the range for you (I’m a old guy, btw). I have never been here where there wasn’t a woman on the range and/​or behind the counter. I brought my wife, who went from «guns, um, no» to «Can I shoot the .22 again?».
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and quite willing to extend themselves to help you. I got help with the sights on my 9 mm from one of the guys. Everybody is very safety-​conscious. This beats 5280 armory up and down the block. If we’re trying to make the shooting sports popular (and we are), we don’t need a bunch of tattooed guys wearing «Kill ‘em all and let God sort ‘em out» kinds of clothing. We need people who look and act like we do.
Yeah, I like this place :-).

1^st time shooting ever with my new gun. Had no clue what i was doing, but the nice blonde at the front desk (sorry didnt catch her name) was helpful & one of the employees Daniel REALLY helped walk me thru it all, from how to hold it, & tips n tricks on what would help me shoot better. So grateful for his help! I ended up having a blast!

Clean, bright, welcoming environment for people of all skill levels. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, very approachable if you have any questions. Selection of gun rentals is decent and the prices are reasonable. The range itself is a bit small and cramped, I think there are 8 or 9 lanes only, so I can see wait times potentially being very long here.

An outstanding place to hone your firearm skills. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgable as well. Perfect if you’re a solo shooter or great for the family. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

Do not buy a membership if you plan on ever cancelling. Their very unprofessional and unethical staff will do everything in their power to add on late fees etc if you cancel. Make sure you send an email and get a response or just watch the fees pile up.

I love this place. Levi and the staff are very welcoming and very friendly to newcomers and those new to shooting, as I was. The daytime membership is a bargain, as long as I shoot twice a month, it pays for itself.
They’ve been great about installing sights or other basic maintenance tasks. Since they’re not a gun store, they can be candid about equipment recommendations.
The range itself is well-​laid-​out, and while it suffers from the usual noise problem of an indoor range, the air circulation is great, and the lanes are in excellent condition. There’s always a range officer around to give advice or help with problems.
My wife and I have taken our CCW classes there, and they do a good job with that as well.
I’ve never rented a gun or bought ammo there, so I can’t comment on their pricing.
As a bonus, there’s a big parking lot out front.

Nice range. Conscious of safety. Clean. I think the classes are a great community service. I bought the «unlimited» $ 40 /​month membership (with $ 100 initiation fee in December 2015 (I think)). I’ve gone there about 5 or 6 times. Tonight is the third time I’ve shown up to shoot that the wait is about 1 hour. Its «Lady’s night». So it is packed. Frustrating, but I will avoid the special days to avoid the crowds in the future. Maybe I’ll start to call ahead.

I thoroughly enjoy shooting at Shoot Indoors. It is well organized, clean, safe, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is getting harder and harder to find a good place to shoot, so it is nice when you do find a solid place that you can go to have fun and enjoy your passion.

Friendly staff, clean accommodations (side note… staff appears clean too). What more could you want? Ok. free ammo would be nice, but certainly not realistic. This place is pretty awesome, from the first time i shot here, it was pretty obvious this was a different range. It seems as far as shooting ranges go, you get three options in the metro area. The pretentious «we’re too cool crowd», the conspiracy «obama’s after our guns crowd», or the wtf «should i turn it sideways» crowd… Happy to say this pace doesn’t fit in any of these categories! Comfortable atmosphere, happy people (watch out for the bald guy, super friendly, but does he look like he’d tear the balls off a pitbull with his teeth or what!) seriously though it really is a great place to shoot! I’ve plinked around, sighted in my black powder rifle (BOOM!), brought friends to familiarize them with AR’s (side note if someone says they are shooting next to me with a «semi auto assault rifle» they obviously don’t know enough about guns or shooting to review a range, and should probably stick to nerf). You want a fun, relaxed, enjoyable experience? «Shoot Indoors»

Lots of shooting bays with ample staffing to help get those flying brass rounds away from your feet which is much appreciated. The facility is really clean and had a fresh inviting look to it. There were a few drawbacks on my occasions visiting here though. First, on your initial visit you sign the most involved waiver I’ve ever seen at a shooting range. Not that, that’s a bad thing it’s just so rigorous I felt like… ”Hmmm, has something happened here that they are requiring this heavy of a waiver?” The second drawback is on their 50 yard range they allow any firearm. So you could be shooting handguns next to people that are shooting 300 win mags. Also they do not require that rifle shooters to be sitting down. The concern I had with this is that I had novice shooters shooting next to my bay that were shooting semi auto assault rifles. Maybe it’s just been my experience where indoor ranges required rifle shooters to sit, but that’s only with the about 20+ indoor ranges I’ve shot at personally. Nevertheless there were a lot of range personnel in the range with us to so that was nice.

I normally shoot at the NRA Range in Fairfax, Virginia. I was in Denver visiting family over Thanksgiving, and we elected to get some range time in. None of us had been to Shoot Indoors before.
Comparing it to the NRA Range: Shoot Indoors is smaller with fewer facilities — no dedicated rifle lanes, for instance. However, the cleanliness, ventilation, friendliness, and general state of maintenance, are all on par with big national-​level ranges. You may have to wait a while to get a lane, as they only have nine, but once you’re there you’ll love it.

Went to shoot for the first time last week. Great time
. Tried out my new .45 acp and older 44.mag. Great targets and lane set ups. Clean and well lit. Overall a great experience. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Austin.

Great location. This place is good to practice short range with your conceal gun. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion though.

Love this place. Everyone is so friendly and willing to give you pointers if you ask. The range is also very clean and they keep up with the brass so you don’t have to kick it out of the way to shoot. Will be back.

We’re from Arizona, and were looking for a place to shoot while we’re here for the weekend. Most places were closed because of the holiday, so we went to shoot indoors. The staff was super friendly and made it a fun experience. We’ll definitely be coming back for more shooting the next time we visit!

What a great place. I just recently took my twin 16 year old daughters to this range as a birthday present… wanted them to learn how to handle firearms, and have a healthy confidence about firearms, and learn some technique.
This has turned out to be a life-​changing experience for them. Not only did they enjoy their first shooting experience, they’d like to make it a regular part of their life. So excited!!! They fired revolvers, semi-​autos, etc. and the staff helped them feel so at home, they shot like they’ve been doing it their whole life. It was a personal moment of pride as a parent to watch my girls load a magazine, jack it, and correctly have a great time shooting.
How do you do this? Amazing staff. Super friendly. Never once made us feel like we didn’t belong just because we are relative amateurs. They made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and like they wanted us to come back! Amazing. They young lady on the range hooked right up with my girls and made them feel very comfortable. Super clean facility, super nice people, just based on this one experience, I am now interested in becoming a gun owner and making shooting a part of our lives. Will bring my girlfriend here to teach her as well. Well done guys. Well done.
