Great breakfast burritos. I have tried all of them except the steak at this point. The 1.99 hash brown burrito is perfect for the drive to work, and the Ham is my favorite, the staff are fast and courteous and happy to help. I went to jus’ Burritos a block east and they just don’t compare. Eddy’s breakfast burrito is atleast 30% bigger and a bit cheaper, and the hash inside is much more flavorful. Eddy’s does a good job of large orders too. I surprised them with a 14 burrito order at 7:30 in the morning one friday, they bagged everything up with containers of hot sauce from their hot sauce bar within 25 minutes. If you call them ahead of time they will have it ready when you get there. don’t forget to try all the hot sauces, my favorite is the jalepeno. EDIT: Eddy’s has now closed, the place that replaced it is called La Casa Del Burritos, I’ll post on that once they get one up, and it is just about as good. The Torta is a really hefty pressed sandwich. And the breakfast burrito is still amazing.

Open 3 months as I write this. Eddy’s is a unique Mexican breakfast joint that also has a decent menu of lunch and dinner items. The chairs and tables are survivors of past wars, but the TV is HD tuned to 7news and properly adjusted(how come most white folk can’t manage that). There’s a big easy-to-read menu next to the register written in proper English. The help spoke good English too. Extra points for those items! It was Sunday brunch-time, we’d just finished our morning work-out. I ordered the Steak-and-Eggs special(absent from the takeout menu) and my side-kick ordered Eddy’s Special Skillet. The skillet looked and tasted awesome. The steak and eggs were a tad on the impoverished side. Eddy’s is not up to the food quality level of, say, the Village Inn, but the price is a lot lower, and there’s absolutely nothing corporate about the place. We’ll definitely go back, and next time I’ll order some Mexican cuisine.

This morning I stopped by a new restaurant, Eddy’s Café, in Broomfield. Eddy’s just opened in May 2012. They serve Mexican and American fare and are open for breakfast lunch & dinner. I had the Deluxe Burrito with chorizo, eggs and potatoes. It was topped with fresh slices of avocado. Eddy also served me a side of habanero sauce which really warmed things up. The portion was large and priced at $ 4.75. It was delicious. With coffee the bill came to $ 6.20. Eddy’s has excellent pricing. I will post pics of the menu when this gets posted. I will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner.
