Moose MacGregor’s

Good stuff. Great beer on tap. Ultimate nachos was the special and gave it a shot. Pretty good. Thought the wings were far better than they looked. Had the Rueben and it was tasty. Friend recommended the steak, but passed.

Friends had urged us to try Moose’s place but we kept putting it off. We finally took the plunge last night. and are we glad we did. Our new favorite place to eat.
We chose steaks from a wide versatile menu. Each of us ordered our steak prepared differently and they arrived at our table exactly as ordered and was decidedly the best steak downriver — with a fantastic side of roasted red potatoes. The dinner salad was fresh and had cherry tomatoes, cheese, croutons etc along with a scrumptious blue cheese dressing.
The clam chowder was delicious served hot and had fresh clams and herbs. Our waitress Kristine was perfection. Going back as soon as possible. Everything they served to surrounding tables looked fanastic too. You should try it.

We have been going here for many years because the food is pretty good. Today was or first time there in probable a few months. The prices are out of site now. Our dinners were 12.99 each and a pitcher of beer was 8.00. We had cod not some fancy steak dinner. I just can’t see paying that much at a bar. Really don’t see ourselves going back. Since when is a pitcher of beer 8.00 at 3:30 pm.

I’d give a 4.5 if it were possible food was excellent service was great portions were large prices perfectly reasonable looking forward to going back

Really like this place and we try to call on Fridays but they do not answer the phone because they do not want to handle carry out orders. I went in placed a take out order asked the bar maid why they weren’t answering there phones she said phones are fine. I called there number right in front of her and showed her it rang and rang she looked at me like a deer in the headlights. That being the case we have determined there are plenty of other establishments that can handle are business from now on. Too bad I would have given them four stars but customer service terrible.

Met up with some friends here and sampled some of their food like the homemade potato chips and periogis. Both were excellent. I was surprised to see the Black Russian sandwich on the menu as I have not seen one anywhere for many years. I was about to order it but instead went with the Irish melt. A burger with corned beef on top. Excellent. Very good portions and friendly staff.

Great place to go. But one waitress needs to go. Don’t know what the order was and more into iphone than customers. Bad aditude.

One of my favorite places to eat! Food is outstanding, service is top notch, price is very good for the amount of food you receive. I’ve never left hungry or shorted. My favorites are the lake perch, Ruben sandwiches, the red skin potatoes are to kill for! The pizza is like when my dad used to bring it home when I was a kid, cheese piled high w/​lots of pepperoni! Damn, I’m getting hungry describing it, wife and I are going there tonight! Lol. But really we are!

Love this place! But you have to have my personality, I’m very quiet and chill. This bar during the week days are middle ages people. The weekends can get crowded depending on if they have a band playing. I like the atmosphere because there’s no drama. They also cater to smokers because they have an outside deck area with heater lamps during the winter. The prices are decent and the fries and club sandwiches are good!
I loved going to karaōke nights, they were the best! Unfortunately I don’t get out much so I haven’t been there in a while.

Great food, great atmosphere, and and large choice of craft beers. Cheesy fries and chili cheese fries are the best around

The food is good, and the beer selection is ok. I’ve been to this place many times and enjoyed my stay, but my last experience will likely prevent me from every visiting again. I went in on a Saturday, and it was semi-​busy, but there were still empty tables. First, it took me half an hour to get a beer. Then, after we had been there for an hour and a half, it came time that I had to leave. My table tried to cancel our food orders, that we still had not received (not even the spinach dip), and they started threatening to call the cops on us. We made it very clear that we wanted to pay for everything we had received, and just cancel everything that never showed up, and some old man (assuming the owner?) started yelling, making a scene, and saying he was going to have us in the back of a police car. Well, that was it for me. Congratulations on losing the business of 4 males in their early 30s with no kids and disposable income that all live within a mile of your establishment.

Great ambience. Very friendly staff. The jalepeno poppers were AMAZING. Same goes for the sandwiches. Our glasses were never empty ;) They had a trivia game on the TV which was really fun, i think its buzztime trivia. They have a local band called Junction Groove that plays some awesome music & they get most of us out on the dance floor! Overall, very chill experience. Makes you feel like everyone’s your friend there. Definately go there if you can!!!

The food is great, and the service is better!
It’s the perfect spot for a quick lunch, for a group dinner, a fun night out… Very reasonable prices, fresh, quality eats, and a clean, friendly bar atmosphere.

Im a northeast sider. I stopped in here for a drink aftet dinner. What a nice place. They had live entertainment and great drink prices. It was very roomy here to. Id come back.

This is the place to meet people you love to be with. Your golfing partner, the softball team, old classmates, people you don’t need to impress. Décor is unremarkable, staff is experienced and knows when to leave you alone, and when to refill your glass. They have a patio to sit out on in good weather.
As to the food, it’s good old pub grub-​fish and chips, fried mushrooms, burgers, etc. The thing I had that I enjoyed was the «Irish Super Nachos», which had the typical toppings served on thick-​cut french fries. Awesome!!!

I always get the Guiness Dip sandwich. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
Many TV’s, Keno is a must to do there. They have bands on the weekends and its just a fun place.
During the week, there are always families there for dinner. but the weekends are for the adults!!! :)
