I was visiting some friends near by and my oil pressure gauge had dropped to almost nothing. They expedited the replacement of the sending unit and pressure tested. All for less than $ 50. They were very courteous and professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Horrible experience. Just left this place. We were traveling home from vacation in Hilton Head and ran into tire issues. We had a nail in one tire and a crack in the tire wall on the other. We went to Duckworth for help. They took our truck and said they were taking the tires off, didn’t find the crack, said the tire was fine even though we saw the crack, apparently they did not look closely!!! We asked them to put the spare on, We got in the truck and noticed the tire pressure was at 20! They did not balance the tires or even check the level on the spare!!! We waited for over two hours. Then when we pulled around for them to put air in the spare, it took them forever to come help us and they had to use our tire gauge because they couldn’t find one. While we were inside waiting, I heard the guy say «I always make sure the guys double check everything and blah blah» YEAH RIGHT they don’t even check once. Horrible, horrible and incompetent folks working there and running the place.

They had not even ordered tires when I got there, had my car for two days, put the wrong tires on the car, scratched up my new wheels and then old man Bill denies everything and refuses to make things.
Three days later sounds like the right rear tire is gonna explode. I take it to a tire dealer in Virginia while there on business and find out Duckworth installed the wrong tires.
Dealer in VA made it right with the tire manufacture.
Avoid this place at all cost. We’ve had excellent service with Bruce Kennedy Tire.

Originally, I checked out a National Chain’s website and found 4 tires on the site installed for $ 488. I set an appointment on-​line and waited for confirmation. The next morning, I got a call from them saying they didn’t have the tires I had selected on line at my particular location. So I went into the shop itself and spoke with the guys there. While the tire they wanted to substitute was only $ 12 more, the entire thing was going to cost me almost $ 800. I asked what happened to the $ 488 price I was quoted on line and they started in with the song and dance.
Needless to say we left and ended up at Duckworth. As soon as we walked in and asked about tires for my car, William immediately gave me a quote, installed, balanced and all for under $ 500. When my husband said our other car needed tires as well, William threw in alignments for both cars (value of about $ 120) free. So we ended up getting new tires for both cars for under $ 1,000… no fuss, no upcharging, no big sales push to get us into buying other maintenance plans.
The best part was that while they were working on my car, I asked them about my tail light — which was out — and the mud-​flap that was loose and told them to call me with the cost to replace the bulb and repair the mid-​flap. The mudflap they couldn’t repair, but they replaced the bulb for free!
Now that’s service.
