Have never been disappointed here. They are always consistent and good. Best place in Brunswick for some ice-cream.

Love=soft serve ice cream in the summer. This is a place that you could drive by and not think twice about it… but you should. You should definitely turn around and get yourself an ice cream cone. It’s kind of like a Dairy Queen but not. They have dipped cones, slushies, regular ice cream, and plenty of other icy treats. And it is crazy inexpensive. Like so inexpensive that I wonder how they are able to stay in business… but I’m definitely not complaining. This place is open seasonally… so get there while it’s still summertime!

It really doesn’t get any better than the Dairy Frost. Why are there not more reviews? My favorite treats there are the soft serve — no artificial swirls for flavor, just delicious vanilla & chocolate, of course, but also coffee and peanut butter! You HAVE to try the soft serve peanut butter! If you’re really in the mood for a peanut frenzy, you can get the best peanut butter sauce on top of it(or on any other flavor) and be in peanut heaven. Most of the time there is raspberry soft serve which is nice and, lately, I saw lemon which is refreshing. Another treat is to have your cone dipped in chocolate… ooooohhhh. Another great item is the shakes — small, large and extra thick are the choices along with too many flavors to mention. I’ve even asked for a «custom» shake — a fluffernutter(peanut butter and marshmallow) as I had one somewhere in MA that was fantastic — and that was no problem. Dairy Frost also creates it’s own version of the Dairy Queen blizzard by swirling in different toppings. Hard ice cream is Giffords, a Maine company, with a large selection of flavors and toppings. Unfortunately for us locals, it is seasonal, open from late April to early September, but it’s understandable. Otherwise we’d be outside, eating ice cream treats in the cold and snow! The great news besides wonderful ice cream and the friendly owner and her staff is the prices. Shhhhh… don’t tell them that their prices seem like a rollback to a decade long ago. Where else could you get a(generous) small soft serve cone for under $ 2 and a milkshake for about $ 2.50? You can really afford to take the whole family to the Dairy Frost! So what are you waiting for?
