I went here for my birthday party during the Friday Night Wine event. The band was WAY too loud, and our tables were literally between two big speakers. We had to yell in each other’s ears and even then could barely hear one another. We ended up leaving early because no one could have a conversation. The best part of the evening was the portion size. $ 12 for 4 decent sized glasses of wine. I didn’t have any appetizers, but the desserts were good. I was hoping for a more low key event.

AMAZING! Skyview outdid our expectations for the event. We had my sisters bridal shower here and the staff was so kind and accommodating for every need. We plan to come back for another event. Everything was beautiful scenery from the large open windows, the deck and the rustic inside. Everyone had a wonderful time I am so happy we decided to go with them!!! Lovely staff and owners

We had our wedding reception here in 2003 when the place was still kind of new. We did what they call a «bare hall» reception, which was pretty much that — we rented the hall itself for $ 550 and nothing else was included. We decorated it ourselves, brought in our own alcohol and hired an outside caterer. That worked very well for our budget, and we had more flexibility with our menu because what the Skyview Lodge was able to offer was pretty basic(and kind of gross, looking at some of their catering photos). They really did let us have the run of the place, and we decorated it for a luau. There wasn’t much we could do outside, because it was springtime and the ground was a big mud pit, but the back deck was very nice and scenic. The hall itself is rustic but very nice. On the night of our reception, the bathrooms were totally disgusting. They were really nice about letting us back in the next day to tear down our decorations. While our experience with them went smoothly, a while later, we became involved in some work in that area and learned how everyone thinks the owner is a lunatic, and she was involved in some sort of city council scandal. They also run a few other businesses from the Skyview Lodge, like a U-Haul business … weird. I do recommend them for a bare hall reception like we had, but hire a coordinator to deal with the owner and things that happen the day of your event.

We had our daughters college graduation party there in December, peak party season. Linda was very patient and helpful in the planning and Amy was very helpful and accommodating as well. The party was beautiful and it was much more affordable than other locations. The staff was great. Everyone chipped in and have their all. They were very creative in helping make it a themed event. We used our own caterer and they were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend it to anyone for any event.

Really cool place overlooking the valley. Nice place to have a party and you can bring your own food in if you prefer. Bar is neat and they have a nice patio which looks like it would be great in the summer! My friend had her baby shower here and it turned out great. It’s a great open space. My parents often go here on their Friday wine nights and have a blast. They have a band come in and they always enjoy themselves.
