This place is totally charming, and the staff is always helpful & friendly. You get a sense of community here when you come in to fill up water bottles.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Bryan, TX
Went in to talk with one of the owners(I think it’s a husband/wife team), Dan, and was very impressed! Lots of options for refillable containers(1 gallon, 3 gallon, or 5 gallon containers –possibly even a 6 gallon one? – with built-in dispensers) that are also BPA-free. At 40 cents a gallon, it’s a steal for extremely high-quality water, especially if you’re like me and drinking the Bryan tap water makes you feel like you’ve been poisoned, and buying gallon jugs every week seems wasteful. I told Dan that I was definitely planning to be back to buy one of the containers once I figured out which one would be best for my husband and I, and he gave me a gallon of water to «sample” – for free! It tastes great, and I’m pretty sure I can even bring the jug back for a refill. SO glad to have found this place! If you’re buying water at the grocery store, you’re paying too much and potentially drinking a harmful carcinogen(BPA). Plus, this is way less wasteful than throwing away all of those bottles and jugs. Try Jacob’s Well!

Évaluation du lieu : 4 College Station, TX
If you’re concerned about the fact that College Station has some of the worst tasting tap water in America, here’s a simple solution. Jacob’s Well is locally owned and operated and this new location just opened in Bryan in the last several years. They use reverse osmosis to clean the tap water, sell it by the gallon, you can bring your own bottle or buy one there, and the water tastes good. Nice friendly service and they will even help you load the bottle into your car. Thumbs up.
