Always had an interest in bow hunting after hearing everyone talking about how exciting it was. Unfortunately I had no clue how to begin. I went to a few bow shops in the DFW area Kilgore etc. it seemed to me they were trying only to profit off of me. but then I landed here. Walk in and I felt like I was at home. The staff was respectful and fitted all of my needs. I never felt that they were pushing me towards a sale. They were very acknowledged about archery and completely satisfied my needs. All I have to say is that I walk out with my new bow and can’t wait to harvest my first animal with it. FYI… this is the first review I have every posted. If your thinking about getting into bow hunting or if you are experienced bow hunter, just stop bye!

Nice shop. Very knowledgable group of guys. They have a great selection of bows and a range in the back where you can shoot. Jeff is the owner and really knows his stuff. I got a matthews z7 extreme last year. Jeff got me all set up and ready to shoot. Shot my first hog with it the next weekend.

Aside from the fact that I nearly shot myself on accident with my crossbow (don’t ask how, it’s embarrassing) I have retained Archery on my most certainly too long list of hobbies. Aggieland does had an outstanding store. It used to be called Sullivan’s Outfitters that had a range in the back. Now it’s 100% Archery. Staff has been very helpful on each visit.
It’s under the moose on Old College Road behind Chicken Oil Company.
