Smoky and the bar staff was rude. Ordered a lemon drop Martini which was good and ordered an. Old Fashion which he had to make twice.

Really like this place. Has the same friendly feel that Fitzwilly’s had. Great selection of drinks to chose from. Very unique atmosphere. Just a good addition to Downtown Bryan.

I had come here a little while back on a First Friday and I absolutely loved this place. The band was amazing and it was such a fun time to see a crowded space that seemed so tame at the same time. I really enjoyed the ambience and loved how the set-up of Murphy’s Law. They had the band play upstairs and had a small dance floor right by the front. The downstairs area was left as normal. I really enjoyed being able to bring several friends here and everybody was able to find an area that they enjoyed. I didn’t try the food or much else, so I cannot comment about that, but the atmosphere I enjoyed and can’t wait to come back soon.

Great ambience and solid beer selection. Great Friday night spot. Love the cozy Irish bar nooks. No wifi access and terrible service inside though. Definitely be back.

The atmosphere is great. I came on a «First Friday» and the place was fairly packed. We strolled in to have a Guinness on draft and immediately felt at home.(We honeymooned in Dublin this past March) I’ll have to come back again and try the food. All we had was beer this time, and according to Irish standards, the Guinness pour was spot on.

I’m not a barfly, or bar connoisseur, or bar-ologist of any sort. My take is that it’s a quiet bar that isn’t flush with people where the staff mostly leave you alone. Given how much I hate bars that are crowded and have loud music and pushy servers/tenders, that makes it A-OK in my book. Oh, and they have Strongbow and Guinness on tap. Time for a snakebite?

Trivia night is great! Never been a huge drinker, but the atmosphere is nice, and the food is good. Worth a stop next time you’re hungry or sober.

This place is really cool. Check out the photos for the general woodwork and feel. There’s quite a lot of space, as there’s two main rooms, one when you enter and one on the left. AND there’s a second floor. When our group came in, only the main room was open and it was completely full. There were a few staff sitting in the side room and they graciously let us sit at a couple of tables next to them. We sat in this patio-type booth(indoors though) and there are decorative PILLOWS inside the booth. That’s awesome. You know why? I can hug pillows when I’m drunk. Also, 8 dollar pitchers of Shiner on Thursdays! You and a friend could get boozed off 4 bucks apiece.

Favorite bar in BCS! The lack of a huge crowd of undergrads makes the place even better. The bartenders we’ve had know the details of most drinks. We sit in front of the drink-mixing area and my husband watches them work. Very rarely have we seen them do something weird to a drink(in terms of mixes/ingredients). Very friendly staff and I love the décor. Three dollar you-call-its on Mondays(excludes top shelf) paired with the showing of WWE’s RAW on one TV makes it one of my favorite places.

As far as College Station, Texas goes — this place is not a bad joint to get your party on. The high ceilings a fun environment will definitely ensue a good time, however the service and price point in the drinks deviate from the low-key, small town Texas vibe. $ 12 for a double vodka water seemed steep and more comparable to a sophisticated New York bar where they require a password for entry. The large, narrow bar was packed with lively music, but the bartenders took their time and couldn’t multitask with numerous orders as you would see in other bars. But it was the price of the cocktail that caught my eye. Not even in Dallas do I normally pay that much for a vodka cocktail. Maybe at an establishment where their claim to fame is craft cocktails, but not a college town bar.

Hey Downtown Bryan, I likes! 1. I can bring my radler from your neighboring Bavarian restaurant right through the convenient cut out into your bar and finish it? High Five! 2. Pitcher of Killian’s for $ 8 — I don’t drink it but the folks at my table sure did. 3. Wood work is amazing — look around you. You wouldn’t expect it here in this city. 4. Irish Fare. 5. Little to NO undergrads — trust me — I could card people for a living. 6. TVs. I have ADD and need to look around. I like that I can look up at something other than my friends. Sorry friends. Anyway, this is a place that I would go back to even though I’m not quite the biggest beer fan. Great crowd and next to a decent restaurant. Good times.

The only place I go out to drink(willingly). The prices are decent, you can usually find a place to actually sit down. It’s very clean and comfortable. Great food! The trivia on Thursday nights is fun. Try a Black Adder! If you like soccer, ask the bartenders about joining the CSB Elite!
