The only two cinemas in town show nearly identical movies all the time. Not everyone likes commercial Hollywood material, so why don’t the two cinemas each use one screen per week for different independent or foreign movies? At least, could they please try to avoid complete overlap of the movies they are screening? To do this would be good for our community, and good business too: I am sure there are potential customers like me in this city who want more choices. There is interesting material out there, but not in Bryan College Station. Here the managers have decided we want a few movies on six or seven screens, instead of a choice. Why?
