Very down to earth, hole in the wall place that has good deserts. I wanted everything on the menu! I got a buttermilk cake slice and it was good. Their pecan pie also looked good, but I didn’t get a chance to try that.

It’s pretty good… I’d say slightly above average for Texas bakeries. The Oh Joey was a nice chocolate mousse type dessert, a bit soft except for the cookie bottom which seemed a bit too hard… but it definitely tasted like chocolate, which is better than many bakeries. Pineapple express was like a light version of a pineapple upside down cake… but why would anyone want a light version? A pineapple upside down cake should be a dense yellow cake cooked in caramel so that it soaks into what becomes the top. It should be decadent to the point that it makes you feel like royalty. The carrot cake was fine… chock full of shredded carrots. If someone brought me desserts from Sweets and Eats, I would eat those desserts, but all the things I tried were missing that je né sais quoi. So if I am going to buy someone special a dessert, I will be heading to Patranella’s in downtown Bryan instead. Note that they deliver, and aren’t open on weekends. I doubt I will be back, but if I just happen to be driving past when they’re open I may get a dessert-of-opportunity.

I am a fan! I currently live in France but my parents live in College Station. I wanted to send my mom some goodies for Mother’s Day and Lori at Sweets and Eats was so helpful. I emailed her asking if I could include a tip for the driver and a message to my mom with the sweets and she took care of everything via email! I ordered 13 chocolate-dipped strawberries and a strawberry cream puff. My mom said everything arrived in perfect condition and it was all delicious. She’s recommending this place to all her friends and putting up their card in the break room at her work. They even included my message on a sweet little card delivered with the sweets — it was written exactly how I asked, even spelling my daughter’s name correctly(Freyja)! We will definitely order from Sweets and Eats again and I can’t wait to come try it myself the next time I’m in the country! Thanks, Lori!

Just received my second delivery from Sweets and Eats — if possible, it’s better than the first. First time tried the cake batter truffles, rice krispy treats and strawberry puff pastry deliciousness. Today I expanded to the chocolate covered strawberries too. Delivery was prompt, ordering was easy. My only complaint is that online ordering is with paypal for payment, so you can’t leave a tip for the delivery driver. I never have cash on me so I feel terrible. Hope this is something they can add in the future.

Sinfully Scrumptious! Yeah, after that, I honestly can’t come up with better words to describe this bakery. I can’t believe that I honestly had never seen nor heard of it until I found it on Unilocal.Definitely one of the best bakeries I have been to in College Station. Don’t let the location and exterior fool you. I was so skeptical when I drove by and had the hardest time finding the location. But, when I called the place, they gave me super helpful directions that helped me find it quickly. If you’re lost, just look for the Shell Gas station. Literally drive there and it’s right around the corner. The desserts are amazing! It’s a cute mix of eclectic desserts that I haven’t seen many times in College Station. I ordered a peanut butter chocolate pie and it was incredible. Honestly, tasting it was like dying and going to heaven. The pie was incredibly smooth and silky. The crust was a delicious crumble and I absolutely loved every bite of it. It was quite decadent. I highly recommend this place — there were so many other desserts I cannot wait to try. I’ll definitely be back soon to try them out. The only thing sweeter than the desserts here are the workers. The owner, Lori, is so warm and welcoming. What store owner takes the time to return missed calls from people without a message? She really goes out of her way to make sure you get the best experience possible! You’ll feel like you’re getting a proper Souther. The bakery almost seems like it could be someone’s living room. Lori shared a few ideas about how they’d expand the business in the future — mostly more dessert racks, coffee, menu ideas. And I look forward to seeing this place grow! Definitely the best bakery I have been to in ages.

Sweets & Eats is a one of a kind place. Have you ever had a chocolate craving in the middle of the day and couldn’t leave to go get your fix? Well Sweets & Eats delivers. You can go online and view the mouth watering selections, select the ones you like, the time to deliver, then pay with pay pal. You can also place an order and pay to have it delivered to someone special. Surprise someone on their Birthday, Anniversary, Bosses day, Congratulations, Get Well Soon, etc. It’s the perfect way for out-of-town parents of A&M students to order and have Birthday cakes or a good luck on finals dessert delivered right to your child’s door. Moms I have personally used Sweets & Eats for my children’s school functions. I never find out I’m responsible for cookies or cupcakes until a few days before the class party. Instead of stressing out I just place the order and have it delivered directly to the classroom. Sweets & Eats has come up with the best new concept and the food is even better! Everything is made from scratch. My personal favorites are the O’Joey, cake balls, any cookie, and the chocolate cake. –AB

This place is the best! We get their treats for our office and they never last longer than an hour on our counter because everyone loves them. So far, we’ve had the truffles, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, and the brownies. All of the baked goods were so soft and moist and the chocolate covered strawberries were huge. I definitely recommend them for your next event or if you want to treat your coworkers to some sweets!

This place is amazing! Every single pastry that they offer looks delicious! I personally loved the OHJOEY, it was a chocolatiers heaven! I also tried the buttermilk pie and the Pineapple Express which were both delicious as well. Another plus is that the employees were great and helped as soon as we came in. Everyone was very kind and they seem pretty passionate about their product! I will definitely be back and trying the prime bar!
