Taqueria Puro Potosino II

FINALLY, after two years of chasing this taco truck, I caught it at a construction site today. If I can find my photos of it I will upload them as I think it’s a safe bet that everyone has seen this truck around the University area every day around lunch time. Taqueria Puro Potosino II actually has two fronts, the truck, and the restaurant. Problem is that the restaurant has been closed all summer. When talking to the owner he said they were replacing the floor and it’s going to be open again tomorrow! So finally we will be able to try the tacos in the sit down tiny restaurant on MLK and Texas Avenue.
The tacos they made me were fresh and hot authentic Mexican street food style. Perfect for on the go and I was full for $ 3. I totally suggest these if you can catch the truck (just follow it) or now, try the restaurant as we will as well this weekend. Thumbs up for another true Mexican street taco just the way they should be. Grilled, hot and delicious!
