Finally stopped by after passing it so many times. I’m really glad I did. I had a steak burrito. It was awesome. Ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture of it. Meat was marinated perfectly. It’s hard to find a burrito in town that isn’t covered in some red sauce and served on a plate. The burrito came with a red and a green sauce. Both were delicious. I’m definitely stopping more often. Been back a couple of times now. This place has gotten better and better. They’ve expanded their menu to include some of the harder to find meats.(Tripas, lengua). They’re open late also. Road by one night around 11 and their truck was surrounded with tons of cars.

Ah so this place does exist. Stopped by this afternoon and found quick and friendly service. I believe out of the nearly 40 food trucks in Aggieland this is the last one I had yet to try, yet was unable to even verify that it exists. Cash only. Was asked why I was taking pictures so showed them their Unilocal page. They had seen it. Thanked me for uploading photos and welcomed me to take more but what I did was enough. All I ordered was a beef fajita taco on corn. $ 2 cash. As you can see in my photo the taco came out hot on a fresh pair of corn tortillas with diced fresh white onions, cilantro and half of a key lime with a green sauce. Proper Mexican Street. I instantly nailed the recipe at the first bite, and they confirmed. It’s the same as El Tio. Good health dept score posted, business license does state«Taqueria Romero», kitchen was clean, chef wearing a classic chef hat which was cool.(got a photo) I would eat here again for sure. Now I am wanting to confirm that their Pastor(pork) is the same as El Tio as well. As the whole menu is nearly the same I’m pretty sure this is someone that worked for or had /has something major to do with El Tio which has always been well respected in Bryan. The truck(trailer /generator /pickup attachment) says on it in Spanish that they cater events as well. An El Tio Pastor challenge is needed and I think I know the answer.

I discovered this place today, while driving on Rt. 21, and then saw the single review from Annatar B. I liked the tacos but not overly impressed with them. Beef fajita taco were too salty(which probably would be great with a cold beer) The pork one was more interesting and not as salty.
