Whiskey Charlie’s

I normally go to this liquor store to pick out some liquor if I am in a hurry and I already know what I want to purchase. Whiskey Charlie’s also has a location in South College Station that I like to go to if I have more time.
Great customer service. Special orders are accepted here too. Less inventory at this location than the location in South College Station; however, they have always had what I have been looking for when I have stopped in.

After seeing the new sign last week I had to stop in and check out the most recent business resident of what seems to be a doomed location for a beer store. I had stopped by before when this was Beverage Oasis, and then another name only to find coolers out, poor unpredictable inventory and just plain stores that suck compared to Specs.
This one looks cool and I actually caught the young gentleman Ted that owns this at the register.
While the selection of beer is small, it is creative and obviously clearly thought out. Unless you only buy German beer (such as me), chances are you will find one here you will be interested in. Prices seem fair, service was friendly and since I like to support the small guy as opposed to the giant chain when it comes to voting with my dollars, I am considering asking them to order the organic German beer which is the only thing beer wise that my wife and I will drink. I suspect they will try to get it for me. And I see another review coming up in the future.
