Beware, the menu is 10 years ago and the price you will be charged is not the same as what you read. There will also be no detail on the bill which means they charge whatever they want. So check while you are ordering. Also, the sweet and sour dish was served with no sweet sauce.Uk!

This is the only sit down and order chinese restaraunt in the Benton/Bryant area and I think it is pretty good. They have a small but very delicious buffet on Sundays. Their prices are really reasonable and enormous portions, which I know some people think is a turn off(but why?) If I’m paying money for lunch I’m not offended if they give me enough to take hone dinner. They have a huge lunch menu from 6 – 9 dollars. Super friendly service, family owned, Jerry is the nicest guy and almost always at the front desk. Overall you can’t go wrong eating here with good food, big portions, fair prices, and great service.

Being new to the area my family was excited to try a new restaurant so close to home where we could possibly become«regulars». Unfortunately that was not the case. PROS: huge portions… uhh that’s about it. CONS: As stated in other reviews the pricing is a surprise waiting for you at check out, very strange. The service, aside from being greeted and sat by the owner, is AWFUL. The employees bickered and argued the entire time we were there in the booth behind ours making for an awkward experience. The food was mediocre at best. Huge portions aren’t necessarily a good thing when half the plate is a myriad of fried blandness. Worst of all the place was grungy. The menus were greasy and falling apart. My glass had hardened bits of food on it from the obviously ineffective dishwasher. BOTTOMLINE: Based on other reviews I’m not sure if this place is just suddenly spiraling out of control but I can say without a doubt my family will not be eating at Taste of D-Light again.

This place is very good. Their soups are homemade(egg drop soup has corn in it, which seems strange, but its really delicious) and all of the food is made fresh. Not sure if there is a buffet — there wasn’t when we went — but we will definitely be back. I’d like to try some other things. The service was good(maybe a little over-attentive, if that’s possible. I generally like to be left alone for most of my meal). Our food was flavorful and fresh and had unique flavors, but still seemed familiar. Four stars because menus are outdated, and the building had no A/C on the day that we went, but hopefully those are temporary problems. Really can’t beat the quality of the food and everyone was so nice. The portions are also huge. Took home leftovers and couldn’t even eat them all the next day.

I’ve tried this place twice now and both times were a disappointment. First of all, the menu has a notice taped to it saying all prices are null and void and to ask your server for today’s prices. Service is awful, I made direct eye contact with my server and waved for him to come over and he turned around and went into the kitchen. It took us over 20 minutes to get our check and pay. When the owner mentioned we didn’t eat our food we told him because honestly it wasn’t very good. We asked for extra spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all, it was just sweet. He then got defensive and argued with us that his wife makes all her own sauces so it just probably isn’t to our taste and she doesn’t make it Thai spicy(?) We will not be going back.

Came out on a Saturday night based on its rating. Horrible service! There was only 6 customers and 7 mins in, no one was even at the front to seat us. Only saw 2 servers tending to tables and neither bothered to look at the front and greet us or tell us the hostess is on the way. Once a line started forming, half of us just left after no attention from any staff. Saturday night shouldnt be this bad!

My family and I have ate here for years and are amazed at what Jerry and Ms. Lee have been able to do day after day. The portions are huge the prices are great and the food is generally very good, some of the best in the state. I do not recommend going to the buffet on Sunday, it is very good but they not do it once a week so try don’t have the turn around time necessary to keep all patrons happy. These two are the kindest people I have ever known and also the hardest working.

After several attempts at giving this location the benefit of the doubt, I’ve given up. Won’t be back. There are plenty of better restaurants in the area.

Nothing exciting — just ok. If you are considering this place maybe consider somewhere else. The menus don’t have current prices and the place seems to be very unorganized.

Horrible management!!! They charged us FULL price for a two year old that ate two bites if chicken and one tiny slice if watermelon. I have ever encountered such hateful people!!! Needless to say first and last trip!

The owner was nice, speedy service but the food was terrible. Crab meat Rangoon had no crab meat just cream cheese. The sweet and sour chicken was Heavily breaded and was property frozen. Nothing really temperature hot either. Pork fried dumplings were gummy so I just eat the inside and that was good. The carbonation on the sodas was off; tried too tell my waiter but he didn’t speak much English so I gave up. I am really disappointed in the food and want something better to report but there it’s Nothing redeeming to report. Place seems run down inside but the exterior was very nice and when we came in we were the only people in the place so service was fast. I ordered a variety of foods, the sauces were good but they may be stock packaged items. This place was probably really good in its day but that day is over. I give second chances but I will not be back. For family friendly… very limited kid menu, no changing table in bathroom, but the owner Jerry did let the kids stand in the chairs to look at the fish in the hugh tank.

What a delightful restaurant! Deliciously fresh Chinese menu that’s quite extensive. Jerry is a very attentive host and his wife is an awesome chef. Even the fish in the huge aquarium are friendly! Everything we ordered was delicious. Hot sour soup, moo shu chicken, secuhuan pork was wonderful. Plenty to take for another meal. And the price was very reasonable! Great deal.

I have gone throughout the US eating at many Chinese restaurants. This Chinese restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever had. The food is top-notch, big portions, and the prices are great! Jerry, the owner, is very attentive and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by. Recommendation — Try the Sesame Chicken and the Lo Mein

Awesome! Yes, jerry was there and greeted us! Just like the other reviews said. Food was great, prices great and they even had meals for kids. We had crab ragoons, sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice… and it was all better than most of our Chicago chinese favorites! This place is a must go!

Maybe caught the buffet on a bad day, but food was inedible. The owners appear put out at having to help you/wait on you.

D-licious food, so please check it out. My complaint = no service. I’m not even sure who it is that I’m not tipping more than $ 2. That’s still 15% of the bill.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. Great prices and some of the tastiest Chinese food I have ever had. Crab Rangoons were huge and killer! Chicken was fantastic and hot and sour soup was some of the best I have ever had. You must try this place. Jerry was very nice and service was excellent.

I have eaten at Taste of D-Light since they opened and they never disappoint. They have THE greatest egg drop soup and when I feel really bad, that’s what I want when I get really sick. Someone mentioned in a previous review they were surprised the owner was not asian — but his wife IS. Very nice people and great food

I’m glad I skipped the BBQ joints I usually stop at and went here instead. As mentioned, prices are great all around and lunch specials are insanely good. For a very good price, you get your main course plus soup and an appetizer platter of sorts. The owner is just as kind and caring as they say(although I was surprised to find he was not Asian, but simply a black American gent who apparently makes mean Chinese dishes!), and as I mentioned that I love freshly prepared food, he volunteered some information about how his wife gets the ingredients fresh down the road every morning. The only thing not fresh was the stale fortune cookies. The location is great for an easy-off, easy-on stop along the interstate. Skip McDonald’s and support this business, and your full stomach will thank you!

I never would’ve thought that I’d find authentic chinese food in Arkansas but this place is legit. HUGE portions, reasonable prices and darn good food! I had the homestyle bean curd w/pork szechuan style and it looked and tasted just like the food in China but higher quality. I made it a «complete dinner» for a whopping $ 2.30 extra and got hot & sour soup(excellent), 1 crab rangoon, 1 wing, 1 egg roll & dessert! I hardly put a dent in it but all of it was delicious. If you like Chinese food, definitely try it.
