What can I say that hasn’t already been said. They serve bland cafeteria food and have poor service. We ordered 3 small pizzas. It took over 20 min until we got them. Then, one of the pizzas was wrong. Took another 20 to get the correct one. On the up side, they gave us the wrong pizza and a shake for our troubles. Even with that, I would still avoid this place.

When you drive by and read ‘Diner’ you are probably expecting a different style offering. Their menu is basically a bunch of frozen items that they must throw in an oven or microwave… Hotdogs, Fish Strips, Chicken Nuggets, Pizza and Hamburgers. The fries didn’t taste fresh at all. The bathroom is clean & the food is made quickly & my daughter enjoyed her pizza … However, I will not choose to return here again! It’s convenient but definitely not worth the price(changed from two to one star after speaking with my husband– he mentioned the service was horrible!) definitely unfortunate

Canyon Diner is located right at the beginning of Bryce Canyon. PLEASENOTE: THISISNOT A DINER. This is a fast food establishment. The parking lot is super small and beware ONLY one way in and one way out-definitely not conducive to someone with a large truck. We were super hungry and on our way to find our hotel so we ordered anyways. This place was packed inside, I had not realized a tour bus had just landed! The server had zero personality and not a «can I help you» or «thank you» just bleh! But that’s OK, it was probably a long day filled with rude tourists and she’d probably had enough-be gone with my cheery, glad to be in Bryce personality. The floors were filthy with dirt and trash — again tourist and at peak lunch time so I’m still OK. Found the only available table which for someone overweight such as myself, could barely fit into the booth(very unusual even for me). Serve yourself ketchup, mustard, drinks station is in the middle of the restaurant. Several children running wild and making a huge mess. Ketsup pump was out so I made the biggest mistake besides walking in and not walking out. I asked the nearest girl standing next to the station if she had more ketsup, she looks over and points to the ketsup without saying a word. I said«yes but it’s all gone. Will you be filling it?» She literally without a word, walked away and said nothing. I watched several people try pumping it to death but no one ever came to fill it. We ordered the fish n chips — husband said it was ok but bland flavor. I ordered a chicken sandwich-not too bad with fries, which was excellent! Kids got chicken nuggets which they said were alright. Overly priced fast food is what you will get here. I’m still ok with this not being a sit down diner and then… finally one guy comes out to sweep the dirt(and did I mention they were dirt clod balls?!) floors next to our table. If you’ve ever been to Bryce you will know that its fine dirt and goes all over. Whew, luckily I was done eating and there was something to entertain me — It started hailing large chunks of ice!!! I’ve never seen a hail storm last that long and that strong. I’m giving 3 stars as a fast food restaurant in a tourist town. If you are super hungry and don’t mind people running around a fast food restaurant, not picky about what you eat, then this might be your place. I would not recommend to anyone who wants a true diner experience.

The food was not the main problem, but I agree with many of the reviews. It’s the absolutely abominable customer service. Ruby’s Inn owners, I hope you’re listening. Your attempts to be of service to foreign Asian students by providing them jobs is admirable but misguided. First of all, they need to know how to count in English. One of them called out my order number with the wrong number several times.(Thirty four, when it should’ve been twenty four). After no response for quite awhile, another employee figured out she misspoke and called out the correct number, and then I went to claim my order. The counter person never told me there were condiments available to put on my dry hamburger. Another employee at the counter was dashing out periodically to a booth to join his friends. Apparently wants a job but doesn’t want to work. And why is an employee running inside the building? Doesn’t he consider the possibility of running into customers? There didn’t appear to be any manager on the site, or I would’ve complained. These events happened on approximately 5:30PM June 8, 2016, should anyone in management care enough to discipline the employees mentioned. This is the second time this has happened to me on a trip to Canyon Diner and it will never happen again! I’ll never patronize this place again and I make frequent trips to Ruby’s Inn & Bryce Canyon.

A fast food type diner. We ordered the fish and chips and made me ask myself what was I thinking. The more I took a bite, the more I hated it. Super battery and had a weird texture. My sister got the pastrami and she said it was word and sweet. She only ate half of it and got stomach aches that night. The fries were decent. We also got a family sized ranch chicken pizza and it came with chewy mushrooms, some pieces of onion, dry chicken, and weird sauce. I’m pretty sure I just drowned my hunger by drinking root beer and I don’t drink soda. You’re better off buying the frozen food at the market. We did go to the market after to pick up some food and snacks.

With limited options, this is the most reasonably priced meal in the immediate area. Good for families and for a hamburger and fries. Not gourmet but fits the bill. Pizza not my recommendation.

Western burger was basic and over priced. Chicken sandwich was a joke(a poorly written one) with a single wilted tomato slice, shredded lettuce and a chicken-thing in the middle. The only redeeming item was the hot dog sliders, stick with that and you won’t be too disappointed.

Not good at all. Hard to fine many places in this small town. Came in thinking it was a restaurant and it was more like a convenience store, warm up some food kind of place. We got 3 cheeseburgers and it cost $ 24. The parties were obviously frozen(and gross). The lettuce on the burger had a fowl smell. Cashiers were not very friendly. Would not return… ever.

It’s okay, there’s obviously not much choice around. I had the western burger which was fine. Don’t expect much, it’s just overpriced fast food.

Not a diner. More like a large fast food place but with better food. You order at a counter sit down and when it is ready they call your number to come get your food. Hamburgers, Pizza, sandwiches and other diner/fast food. Good selection of soft drinks you can keep refilling ay the central station.

Not sure why so many people order pizza here. I mean they advertise what is basically a store brand and it looks rather bad. Anyway though, had a bratwurst and some sarsaparilla they sell there. It hit the spot(it was greasy but it was fast.) The food is pricey but they can get away with it because there isn’t much in the area. I’d demote this down to 1 star outside of the sodas if this was in a different area but it’s well the middle of a desert area so I can’t fault it much. 2

Alright, it’s pretty simple: 1) If you’re searching for places to eat and you stumbled upon Canyon Diner, it may already be too late. Choices are extremely limited around these parts. One may be best served dipping into the cooler and cranking out a handful of peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. 2) If you do decide to stop at Canyon Diner, take heed, for this place is certainly not a diner. In fact, it has much more in common with McDonalds — a very poor man’s McDonalds. It’s fast food that’s not particularly fast. 3) The food is wildly overpriced. A miniature personal pizza cost more than $ 7. Moreover, the price points may be skewed and ready to gouge those who are not paying close attention. For instance, three personal pizzas($ 21) could feed the same amount of people as the family sized pizza, if not more, yet the family size was close to $ 25. 4) The pizza was incredibly greasy and lacking in taste, and that’s coming from someone who actually enjoys slumming in the pizza game and devouring Little Caesars and Dominos on a regular basis. Canyon Diner’s pizza was multiple steps below frozen homemade options. 5. The breadsticks appeared to be pieces of frozen crust that’d been heated up. Not delightful. 6. The one positive: Service was nice. I do not fault the employees for this debacle, for they are just cogs in this greasy, wildly unfulfilling machine.

We ordered the 15″ veggie pizza and were extremely disappointed! First of all they are very pricey and don’t compare the food quality to the price! Our pizza was absolutely undercooked! Disgusted! I would recommend traveling a little further and getting quality food even if it is a tad more expensive!

Not sure I can even give it one star, but my husbands cheeseburger combo was ok. I ordered the chicken sandwich. Pale white processed chicken. I took one bite and could not eat it. Nice touch with lettuce tomato & pickles. I took it back to the counter. The manager apologized over and over, asked if he cold get me something else, but I declined. He gracefully refunded my credit card and apologized again.

Being a vegan the options for vegetarians are very less especially for a pizza! The garden vegetarian is a must try and we devoured till the last bites! After ordering a 15″ we ordered 2 more personal pizzas coz we just couldn’t stop ourselves from having it!!! The café mocha though tasted just like a normal espresso and the strawberry shake was way too thick I give a 4 for the pizza and the ambience and also the people who work there as we got orders way too quick!

Stopped by here because we were desperately hungry and not looking to spend a lot. Not a good choice. It’s an expensive, poor excuse for a fast food joint. I got their hamburger and the meat tasted microwaveable. Kids got pizza and it tasted okay, but not worth price. Good if you want something quick. I don’t recommend. Spend a little more and get something more than just edible.

Pizza Hut/Costco/Dominos/papa johns have better pizza than here. But they beat little Cesar’s :-). Personal pizza is $ 7 and larger to feed 4 cost $ 25 FYI Ruby’s own everything in that city. Recommend go to subway better a mile away

Better fast food than my experience with the diner foods inside Yellowstone! Wifi signal is quite strong. Though there was a bit of a wait(a sign that they prepare the foods when ordered), the staff apologized for it. While waiting, we shared a gigantic Cinnamon Roll that was only $ 2(much cheaper than some other menu options). It’s no Cinnabon, but still a pretty looking, substantially cakey treat. I especially like that they have one of those capppucinno machines similar to gas station ones, next to fountain drinks. As the night in Bryce Canyon gets cooler fast, a warm cuppa makes a difference! The Western Burger was bland despite the extra added condiments. The pizza reminds me of frozen ones at the supermarket but with more toppings. The fish basket has only two pieces of fried fish but they were not bad! Fries are like McDonald’s only a bit less seasoned. The diner is very clean and is a well held together establishment.
