Calby’s Antiques

Cool little place on Everett St, stopped in after a nice walk across the bridge. The thing I loved about this place is the reasonable prices. You won’t find anything reasonably priced in Asheville, I assure you. The owner is reasonable as well, the wall art we bought had no price tag, and even though it had a very large and antique frame, we got it for less than 15 $ I believe. Like any little antique place, you have to weed through the junk, but it’s always worth it to find something you want.
On the down side, it was very crowded and some things were impossible to get to. The owner has birds in the back (not for sale, they’re his) so you’ll see lots of feathers on the antiques in the rear of the store.
