I love this Logan’s! Don’t let the reviews fool you, this place is exceptional. Ask for Ursula, she is my favorite server EVER. Very accommodating, and personable. Order the sirloin, and make sure to get the broccoli as a side. You don’t regret it.

To be honest, the food is not good, the waiter we had was horrible. He tried to convince us that the flat iron steak he brought to the table was a filet mignon, he even said that they press the filet to make it flat. What a joke this guy was. My pork sandwich was dry and the rest of the food was just so so… I will never come to logans again, its not that I don’t like Logans, I just think that the Logans in Buda sucks ass… the waiter too.

Ordered a burger well done. It came out medium with 1 ring of onion on it. Maybe more onion is an upcharge or something.
When the burger finally got here it had no taste… feench fries reminded me of school fries. They must buy the cheapest fries they can.
My tip. Eat at whataburger. The burger and fries are better there.
I can see why they are at 2.5 stars. This area needs better food!!!

Our food order took forty minutes. No one ever came over to explain what happened and no management was to be found.
My husband’s brisket nachos were pitiful. Had some funky white cheese sauce on them with a tablespoon of brisket. NO salsa, tomatoes, sour cream, NOTHING was on them. Tasted bad.
My chicken tenders, all four nuggets, were not fresh. Came with no gravy, honey mustard, nothing on mine either. The french fries were NOT cooked that day. Mushy and dry like they were left over from previous day.
These two entrees were the most striped down plates of food that we have ever ordered.
Logan’s should be ashamed for putting out food that was so terrible. Our ghost of a waiter never asked why we didn’t eat our food.
Skip this place or just throw your money out on I-35.

Only complaint is that it seemed like it had been at least a week since anyone had cleaned the bathrooms. There was trash everywhere, no TP or paper towels. Disgusting toilets. The music is blaring in there too.
The steak was great! Fries were horrible.

Going to give another try. I drive by this place several times a week. I can’t believe it’s been over 4 years since we last dined here. The ribeye was good, more fat on it than usual. The fried mushrooms were good but a little too greasy. The grilled mushrooms were great. The baby back ribs were meaty. Service was very good this visit. The beer was great.

I am a Logan’s fan and this was no let down. Yes, it simple is small time middle America steak fare. They are not Morton’s or Ruths Chris and don’t pretend to be. Just solid steaks and very good customer service. In particular Tiffany was an excellent server. Keep it up!

My husband and I decided to give it one more try after a bad experience the first time. The second go around seemed to be much worse than the first! Food was horrible! The veggies on my veggie skewer were still raw. I sent it back and it came back the same. The meat has to be the lowest quality out there. Definitely won’t be eating here EVER again!

I was really shocked with the hostess tonight. We eat at this Logan’s frequently. There were several booths available throughout the restaurant and we were told that there was a 15 minute wait.
The hostess then was rude and had a bad attitude. We were so disappointed with the hostess that we went across to the street to smiling faces.
We would rather eat at Logan’s, but not when the hostess doesn’t want to sit us because she didn’t want to overload the server at 7:30.

The steak was great but the server was not so great. He looked really depressed and that brought my mood down. Which is understandable because servers only get paid $ 2.00 per hour and on top of that, rude customers. I gave him more than 20% anyways. For all of you reading this review, don’t shoot the messenger (aka servers). Tip them at least 20% and screw those people giving servers an one dollar tip after a great service. I almost forgot, the hosts are great :)

We get seated, notice butter on the floor. Ask hostess if she can clean it up, takes 10 minutes for that to happen. In this whole time we do not have silverware and our server still has not been to our table. Horrible service. Wife makes a comment to server when she finally appears and does not apologize, all she says she is doing her best. Finally order and get our food. Wife’s broccoli is extremely salty and her ribeye steak is a bad cut with way too much fat. My ribs had no flavor. We will never be back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

After eating here two prior times and having horrible experiences we decided to give it one more try after staying away for a year. It is the day before Labor Day and the parking lot hardly had any cars in it because everyone was at the lake I am guessing. The waitress was quick to take our order and actually got everything correct. Food and drinks were brought out promptly and everything tasted great. I don’t know if they got a new manager or just do better when it is not busy. We will come back now and not hesitate because of the better experience. However, I must say I understand the peanut shells on the floor and have no problem with that but at least bend down staff and pick up the paper trash.

If you are about to starve to death and Logans is the only place open, please stop in and eat. My husband likes Logans, but he once made a bologna omelette with sliced American cheese and thought it was good. Logans would probably think it’s a perfect menu item if they served breakfast. I am not a food snob, but I would like some nutritional benefit to my meal and to leave saying, «Hey, that was pretty good!» Nope.
Food is very mediocre and the choices are all likely to spike your cholesterol. But the atmosphere and the bored staff are the biggest cringe-factor here. WHAT is up with the «throw your peanut shells on the floor» thing? It’s not charming, it’s dirty and dusty and looks like a rat/roach fantasy. And the rustic look is good when it’s added to some decent décor, but Logans just looks like you’re eating in an actual barn. There is no charm. Gross, just… gross

Thanks Logan’s Roadhouse, I stopped by on my way to San Marcos to visit my son and I had my Lab (CoCo) with me, I was starved and I knew I had to have something to eat but didn’t want to leave my pup in the car when the temps were reaching 95 degree’s – no drive through food for me, yug! I entered the Logan’s Roadhouse and spoke with the manger – to my surprise, he understood and allowed me to bring in Coco. The New York strip was out of this world and the service was completely unsurpassed. Thanks Logan’s Roadhouse!

When will I learn to check Unilocal before I waste 15 minutes waiting to realize at 8:42 PM they really don’t want your business. Can’t tell you more than that because after a 17 hour day I just wanted to eat and get back to a hotel in San Marcos. If you have more time, from the reviews you might get mediocre food to go with the poor service. I did not have the time to find out.
